Reliable Pool Care did a great job replacing both our filter and pump. This is our second time using them, they also replaced a pump on our previous homes pool. Jon did a great job installing the pump and filter and walking me through how to use the new equipment. Our pool looks so much better and is now running smoothly. I would totally recommend Reliable Pool Care, from the owners to the technicians everyone is responsive and knowledgeable about pool care.

My pool motor stopped working and I reached out to Reed at Reliable Pool Care. I emailed him a couple of pictures of the pool pump, including a picture of the tag on the motor that has all the pertinent information. He was able to give me 2 estimates so that I would have a ball park range of what the work was going to cost. The pool technician, John, called me before he came to my house and had all the parts to replace the motor on the spot! John really knows his craft and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Reliable Pool Care to anyone who needs fast, professional, and reasonable pool service.

I had a problem with my booster pump and Reliable Pool Care came out the same day to assess the issue, provided a quote that evening, and replaced the pump just a couple of days later. Jared was the technician who came out and he was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly.

We have had weekly service from Reliable Pool Care for the past three years and they are exactly that: reliable. Ive never had to worry about them not showing up, they’ve gone above and beyond regular cleaning and helped prevent and fix any issues, and overall made it seamless to own and enjoy our pool. I also appreciate the photos and visit summary each week. Billing is affordable and straightforward, never dealt with any hidden fees or surprises. Will recommend.

Highly recommend Reliable Pool Care! For over 8 years RPC serviced and maintained my pool and equipment. I would still be using them if I hadn't of sold my home and moved. Weekly pool service is reliable, efficient, careful and hassle free. After the last storm my pool was a disaster. Branches, acorns, leaves, dirt and 2 of my chaise lounge chairs all in the pool. Nick came out the day after, and had the pool shimmering and gorgeous in no time. So appreciative of the company's top notch pool care services. My pool has never looked better.

I've used Reliable for 11 years now. They do excellent and consistent work. All of their employees are incredibly nice and easy to work with. They have helped us with weekly service, repairs, and advice/help through all the crazy winter weather we have had the past couple of years. Charlie has been our pool guy week to week for quite some time, and he is the best! Super nice, communicative and thorough. I highly recommend working with Reliable!

1 Star - Negligence, Severe Hair Damage & Zero Accountability

We hired Reliable Pool Care for routine maintenance, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After a standard cleaning, they assured us the pool was safe to swim and that all levels were balanced—this was completely false. The next day, I swam for a few hours and suffered severe hair damage, a rash on both arms (I dismissed as a heat rash, as it disappeared), and a ruined swimsuit. Thankfully, no children were in the pool.

My hair became completely matted, impossible to brush, and started breaking and falling out. Despite using Malibu Swimmers Solution and deep-conditioning treatments, the damage is severe. My hairstylist is now doing weekly protein treatments, but I will ultimately have to cut off around six inches of my hair.

When we tested the water, our kit—though slightly expired—showed chlorine levels off the charts (see rust color in photo). The test accurately tracked chlorine reductions when we added a neutralizer, proving its reliability. Instead of taking responsibility, Reliable Pool Care made absurd excuses—suggesting a neighbor tampered with our pool or that laundry detergent ruined my swimsuit. The operations manager even claimed excessive chlorine doesn’t cause hair loss, which is blatantly false. They also implied we were responsible, rather than acknowledging their mistake.

As a side note— we were regularly charged $500+ per service despite an initial quote of $250. Given that we have a saltwater pool, the high and unpredictable chemical costs were questionable. However, this is not the reason we are terminating service.

We have photos of our test results, my damaged hair (before and after), and my swimsuit (before and after). Reliable Pool Care’s negligence, dismissive attitude, and lack of accountability make them completely untrustworthy. We strongly advise others to find a more competent and ethical provider.

I've worked with the owner of Reliable Pool Care for several years now, and wholeheartedly recommend this company and its people. They are honest, smart, fair and hardworking. My friends I've recommended them to are thrilled with their service. Hands down the best pool care service in Central Texas!

Incredible company. Have dealt with them several times and they are always professional, they deliver when they say they’re going to deliver, they keep you in the loop, and they are so friendly and nice. Their prices are great and they work with you. They installed a pool filter for us several years ago that broke and they search and found out It was still under warranty and they worked really hard with the company to ensure that we got a new filter with labor included. Great company and very professional. I highly recommend them.

Dave & Reliable Pool Care are excellent for repairs. He came out next day and did a great job replacing some valves.

We needed additional help with our pool. Charlie Albright came as soon as possible to inspect and diagnose the issue. He continued to inspect it until the pool was back to normal. This is why we trust our pool to Reliable Pool Care.

Dave was outstanding fixing a tricky issue on my pool. It’s obvious he cares about the work he does. I can’t say too many good things about Kayla and Dave they just did a super job. I heartily recommend the Reliable Pool Care Team.

Service and communication is good. Took away 1 star because prices keep increasing. A few years ago I used to pay less than $200 a month for service with another company. Had to switch when the previous guy retired. Today I’m averaging about $450 per month. I know cost of goods and services have gone up but a 125% increase feels hard to justify.

Took away another star because they actually charge to pay via bank transfer. They charge 3% to pay by credit card. The only method of payment that doesn’t incur a fee is a check. None of my other service providers have this policy and it really is annoying.

I have been using Reliable Pool Care for two months now and experience has been great. They are always on time and communicate well.

These are in my experience the best pool service folks in the area. They provide excellent service and if you have any issues with the pool or equipment they are massively helpful and responsive in solving the issue. Awesome, and as the name suggests, very reliable service.
