I recently hired Adam and his team for sod installation on my front yard. I really appreciated that I got to speak with Adam directly on the majority of the project.

During the consultation process, he took the time to understand my needs and preferences, and was patient and thorough in answering all of my questions.

On the day of the installation, the team arrived promptly and worked efficiently to install the sod with great attention to detail.
They took steps to ensure that I was satisfied with the work, and were quick to address any concerns or issues that arose.

We hired Adam and his team to cleanup an old flowerbed for us in the front of the house and install a metal edge after the ice storms had killed most of what was in there.
After calling him, he was there a day after to give a quote and once the price was agreed upon, his team was out the next day to start the project.

I had some shrubs installed. They mulched everything after planting as well as taking care of a few other things. I am very satisfied with the result.

I highly recommend Adam for your next lawn project. He’s very professional, responsive, and fairly priced. He and his team did a great job laying zoysia sod in our yard and he was able to get in done within the week that he sent us the quote.

Adams Lawn Care turned out to be more of a disappearing act than a lawn care service. I hired him to tackle the weeds, but he seemed far more passionate about installing sod — which wasn’t even the main job!

Once he got paid in big full, he vanished faster than crabgrass after a frost.

Reaching him was like chasing dandelion seeds in the wind — endless postponements, unanswered messages, and even a sudden “hospital story.” 6 weeks later, most of the weeds look just as lively as before his so-called application treatment.

This is the second year I've used Adam's service to clear the leaves and brush from the two very large oak trees on my lawn. A job that would've taken me literally days, and my ability to stand for a week, his crew was able to knock out in a matter of hours. Adam has always been super professional, was quick to answer my call, and his quote was reasonable, especially given the size of the job. I definitely recommend him and his crew!

Very frustrating experience. They came out and quoted me $120 for mowing and edging for a medium/standard sized lawn that had been mowed 1.5 weeks prior. I normally pay $50 for this service. We negotiated down to $60. They "completed" the work in 15 minutes... I took a look at the yard and the grass was uneven, the edging was barely done and the leaf blower was hardly used to clean up. I let them know the work was incomplete and they "did it again" but this time sloppily cut into my grass to edge, left sections unedged, cut the grass way too short, and still didn't leaf blow the area. They sent the guys with lawn mowers and edgers to a different job before giving me a chance to look at the yard, and when I told them it still wasn't done correctly, they gave me strange excuses including that they can't leaf blow areas with xeroscaping because "rocks would fly up." They said they "did the job twice" for me and I needed to pay them. When I said they did the job twice because it was half done the first time, and it still wasn't complete, they said "leave us alone and go in peace." Very unprofessional.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a business pay this much attention detail. I was so impressed with the quality of work. We had our yard aerated and top dressed along with areas of the yard needing sod installed and landscaping. Adam and his crew were friendly and conscientious during the entire project. We plan to use Adam’s Lawn Service Austin on a regular fertilization schedule and for future landscaping projects. He also kept communication throughout our project.

Highly recommend Adam and his crew. We reached out on a Friday and he had his crew there on Tuesday.

We had some very old, tired landscaping we tried to do on our own about 7-8 years ago. Adam took what we started and made it beautiful. Adam even reused some of our original materials to help keep costs down. He trimmed the trees and put down winter rye so we’ll have a nice lawn during the colder temps

Adam and his crew also helped us clean up our backyard by hauling away old junk and cutting down trees that died in the freeze of 2021

We hired Adam and his crew to remove approximately 4000 sq feet of river rock from our front yard and replace with grass sod. He coordinated the job with heavy machinery operators and dump truck to remove the rock, with his team doing shoveling and wheelbarrowing in the tight areas around the house and trees. During the excavation an old buried sprinkler system sprung a leak. Adam had a plumber there within an hour to find and fix the leak. What could have been a headache and big delay he got fixed right away. The job started on a Thursday and they were done the following Wednesday, working every day but Sunday. His team always showed up at 7:30am and work very hard. I was really impressed with their work ethic and making sure everything was done to the highest quality. After the yard was cleared and clean, they spread loam and fertilizer before laying the sod. They laid all the sod (11 palettes) in one day. The grass has been in one month and has grown in nicely and looks great, with hose and hose-end sprinkler watering. This was a huge project and Adam did excellent coordination with a top notch crew!

Setup an appointment with Adam for a quote of the small project we had and he was out the next day. We agreed on the quote, and so his guy was onsite in the afternoon. His guy did an excellent job, you could tell he was meticulous. The yard looks great. We had leaves and a dead branch in a tree that needed removed. Very happy with the results. **UPDATE: Adam installed a skylight for us. He did a great job. He stayed in great communication with us throughout the job and his follow up was very strong. I definitely recommend Adam.

We hired Adam and his crew for tree trimming based on watching them work on a neighbor’s trees one afternoon.

They are insured and did a great job for us, including hauling off all the debris.

Sarah and Twistefleaf have done an excellent job for us every time we've used them. We first used Sarah and her talents in 2012 for a renovation of the landscaping of a house we had just purchased in West Lake. Her crew did a great job. From designing new patios off the pool, to replanting areas with native Texan plants, to adding really cool, private sitting areas, to fixing an issue with our driveway, Sarah was great to work with. We used her again in 2016 when we moved to Spanish Oaks. She worked with her crew to redesign the landscaping, to adding new sitting and outdoors areas, to new wildflowers on the meadow and hillside, to irrigation and lighting, to adding sculptured tiers to compensate for a hillside, to adding privacy screens and other features, to building a firepit area, to adding drainage to fix a runoff issue with our driveway, to designing and maintaining planting areas, she and her crew was great to work with.

We highly recommend Sarah and Twistedleaf. Great design. Great resources. Lovely approach to plant selection. Great work with welded steel. Conscientious of plant choices (new and existing) with an eye for what works in Central Texas. And great people to work with.
