We had a great experience with Advanced Landscape Design. From the initial conversation and throughout the process the communications were excellent. We were very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic group of people to get the job done. They are always available, honest and ready to provide quality work. From sales person and staff members, to the crews out in the fields. Never have had an issue and would most certainly recommend.

We had a great experience working with Advance Landscape Design. Albert was very helpful and knowledgeable with regards to plants, trees and how to take care of our yard. They helped us do some major trimming and also put in a limestone and crushed/decomposed granite walkway and we love it. We actually want to be outside in our yard again!

Our HOA property recently hired Advance Landscape Design to prune trees over and around 12 buildings and carports and remove hazardous trees damaged from the 2021 and 2023 storms. The crew, under direction of Vincent Uherek, did an amazing job -- beyond expectations. Professional, prompt and great communication was a plus.

We were super nervous about our landscaping job, as our house had a lot of drainage issues that we needed to fix ASAP. We definitely chose the right company for the job! Vince and his team were kind, professional, and extremely thorough throughout the whole process! We couldn't be more happy with the results, which are not only functional, but also beautiful. We will definitely be calling them again in the future.

We had a hiccup with some damage accidentally done while landscape work was being performed. From the very beginning everyone involved with the company was up front about what happened and their commitment to make it right. After working with their insurance company everything came out great. We will absolutely use this company's services in the future and recommend them highly.

We have used Advanced Landscape Designs for many years. They have taken down trees on the property, extended our back concrete patio, and most recently installed a second driveway that extended through to the backyard and replaced part of our fencing. We have always had a great experience with them. They are very professional and driven to satisfy the customer. Even when we had to clarify some requirements of the RV Pad in the backyard and work with the City for approvals, they were always patient and focused on making us pleased. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them. Thanks Vincent, Alberto and all the team!

Rene is great to work with! He is professional, kind and knows his stuff. His crew Miguel and Isidro did a very nice job creating an inviting space. I highly recommend them and will be using them for future jobs.

We are so happy with how beautiful our front and back yards turned out!

We bought our home in 2019 and it was absolutely over planted with a million things and a big bamboo problem.
We worked with Rene to draw up a low maintenance, drought tolerant plan that would give us a yard that would let us relax, let the dogs and kids play, and keep the bamboo at bay (you'll never be rid of it!)

It's been so easy to maintain, photos are from 2 months post project completion and all we have had to do is water, mow, and light light weeding. Oh and they installed our sprinkler system too! So worth it!

Rene was a treasure. Loved working with him, he was very attentive and super responsive. We're very happy we took his advice on the zoysia palisades sod for the lawn, even in August it looks amazing!

Overall, great experience. This project has been on our minds for 5 years and in 2 weeks, we finally got exactly what we wanted.

10/10, Nic was amazing, very patient with us from start to finish (this was our first big landscaping project), responsive, transparent on costs and process. He really helped bring our design to life, gave great advice on adjusting our plans to maximize success given the weird micro climate we are in (Hyde Park) his crew was amazing too, great attention to detail. They were just all around great to work with and our yard looks amazing. Highly recommend!

I built out some garden boxes last year and almost everything died or didn’t reach its potential, I had some basic success but couldn’t figure it out. I hired Nick and the team at garden goat to give me some direction. After about 3 mins they had identified pretty much all the problems I was having, without my input, and proceeded to create a plan of action and process to solve those problems. I was Very impressed with their knowledge and how thorough they were. Some basic tweaks have already made massive changes in my garden so I’m optimistic that my black thumb will be solved in the coming months!

Nicolas and his crew were fantastic! They even hooked up my cowboy pool! It wasn’t exactly self-explanatory and there was a tutorial video required before hook up. Nicolas took the time to watch the video and make sure everything was done correctly. Very easy to work with these guys, would definitely recommend and would definitely hire again! Thanks Nicolas and Ezequiel!

Garden Goat was awesome… They were very professional and very knowledgeable. Could not ask for a better experience.

Nicholas and his team were a pleasure to work with on our side and in our backyard. They removed a huge slab of exposed aggregate and installed lueders and pea gravel. We also had some drainage problems when it rained that they were able to address/fix the issues. We have had several heavy rains since the French drain was installed, and it works beautifully.

I've worked with Garden Goat twice now and have been delighted both times. Really easy to work with, communicative and punctual, no hassles and really great work. Will definitely have them back any time we need landscaping or irrigation work in the future!

As time goes by we realize just how comparatively expensive this uncaring multi-area hardscape and landscape job was. Garden Goat did mostly hardscaping for us last Spring and it was hit or miss but ultimately we are left with a bad taste from the experience. If this was the last outfit in town, I absolutely would not use Garden Goat again. He subcontracts out everything except for his 'design' and the minimal light installation. He barely instructed his crews and was always in a rush and not managing what was proposed and planned, not organized and careful. Our Spanish is almost nonexistent. One must always oversee landscape work carefully because so much unskilled labor is relied uponbut also so much of skilled labor also does not speak English. In the case of Garden Goat I felt like we had unskilled management. There was almost no oversight of the crews by Nic with Nic even being out of town for part of it. He was always in a hurry and we tried hard to be patient and make sure that he was listening. From the mess that resulted from their work in 2 irrigations zones that to this day cannot be figured out and has resulted in extraordinary usage of water there. Any leaks disappear under our West Austin geology so I am still hand watering those areas. Garden Goat somehow left us with not 2 separate zones in the area but 2 zones combined that run off either number, and a major leak. Whatever is going on, it is under huge planters so digging that area up is impossible. We will keep trying. Meanwhile, I am hand watering that area still. We did not call Nic back to handle any messes. He was not conscientous. He was easily defensive. He did not monitor or communicate carefully what was expected to his subs. I had to pick up trash and boxes that were blowing out of our yard from the low voltage lighting part of the project which was the only part that Nic himself did. He was in a hurry for every interaction and that seemed to take priority over dong things well or carefully. His proposals look so professional. The management is not. There are many 'landscape' businesses now that put up a website, call around for subs, and use good software for proposals and invoicing. Beware, they are not truly professional landscapers with the depth of knowledge and management skills or enough experience to professionally and conscientously execute a plan for a quality result for the customer. It felt like pulling teeth to get heard or get what was expected. He called one morning and asked what lighting we wanted from a supplier. He'd never even bought it and I had provided specific features to himand numbers and types many weeks before. We ended up just driving to S Austin and buying it ourselves. It was exasperating. How last minute was that!? It became too hard to bear so we just kind of wished for the end of having to deal with Nic. He did not seem to care about the customer. His welder sub showed up without notice to work the weekend with a very small piece of paper with the drawing poorly printed. It turned out OK enough because we had the common sense to adjust the plan after he had built boxes not to spec and they were lopsidededly positioned in the space but we changed out one planter and it looks fine becasue form the street there are plants in front. Thank you, google translate, because Nic was out of town! The landscape company that we used for years in the central ATX area has moved toward the suburbs and growth areas, leaving Austin due to the traffic congestion. Many reliable outfits have and others pop up. Since our sour experience with Garden Goat, we have found a team that is responsive to pleasing the client and directly employs their crews so we just had a huge new installation of most of our landscape by them.
