I received a business card of Brennon’s from our local nursery and filled out a form online about a tree we have that’s looking pretty rough. Brennon went above and beyond by looking at the photos and advising what might be going on without actually doing an on site visit. He was very helpful and informative, and if the tree makes it through the winter, I definitely plan on giving them a call to come out and advise further.

We have always found this company to be extremely professional and reliable. The owner came to our house to give us an estimate and an explanation of the work that needed to be done.

On the day of the job (taking out several trees and disposing of them), everything was done in a safe way and the workers were extremely thorough and friendly.

Brennon is the most knowledgeable , experienced, and caring arborists in the area. Native to Central Texas, he knows everything there is to know about our climate and soil and what trees need here to keep them beautiful and strong and healthy. He always goes above and beyond to answer our questions and I completely trust him to be honest about what needs the most attention at any given time - we live in an older neighborhood with MANY large, older trees and it's often like playing a game of whack-a-mole out there - hard to prioritize what exactly needs doing and in what order, especially when we are hit with unusual weather for our area, like some of the freezes we have suffered in recent years. Brennon can always tell us what needs doing right away and what can wait and he can often spread the work out over a couple of different visits if needed. Two years ago we had a tree crack in freezing temperatures and I was worried the whole tree would need to be removed, but he assured us that though the crack would cause the loss of one of the bigger limbs, the tree itself was still in good health and safe to remain in our yard. I completely trust Brennon and his crew with the care of our trees and the safety of our yard for our family.

I certainly give a 5 star rating for the work that Full Canopy does not only for the quality of the tree-trimming and clean-up (they always leave my property cleaner than when they arrived!), but also for how well the crew pays attention to my questions and my requests, including working within my budget. But through the years I've learned that the trimming team is merely reflecting the character of Brennon, the owner.

Two specific examples come to mind:

1) During the ice storm of 2021 I had significant damage to my trees. I texted Brennon immediately so I could get on his schedule. Because I knew he would be overloaded with emergency jobs I didn't wonder when he didn't call back that day. But it was two days later when Brennon called asking me if my trees needed attention. He hadn't received my text because I had sent it to a landline number!! Brennon didn't need the extra job, but he called me because I had been a customer of his for years and he wanted to check on me and my trees. He did work me into his busy schedule - which included removing a heavy branch that broke with such force that it put a crack in my metal roof. Brennon also worked with me on the insurance providing what was needed so that the claim went through with no problems.

2) When I mentioned to Brennan that I had bought a mini, hand-held, electric chain saw, he didn't try to talk me out of using it even though I am a 75 year old widow and had no experience in using a chain saw. Instead, he immediately said he was going to give me some lessons on how to use it safely. And he did! In spite of what I am sure was an overloaded schedule Brennon didn't assign the task to one of his crew, but he personally took the time to make sure I knew how to care for and safely use the tool.

I live in a neighborhood with lots of live oaks, so I regularly have business cards stuck in my front door or people knocking at my door to let me know about their tree trimming service. But I have no need of those. I already have the top of the line arborist who cares about his customers as well as our trees. You can't do better than Brennon and Full Canopy Tree Care for that!

Brennon and his team are fantastic, this is the second time we've used them to remove a tree. They are very professional, take care of the details (like laying down mats to protect the yard from getting ripped up by equipment), and communicate every step of the way. Brennan and his crew are amazing! We had a very large and very old tree in our yard that had diseased and was a hazard. Brennan came out and diagnosed the tree and then scheduled for the permits and removal. The removal was 2 days and the stump removal was approximately half a day. They left both my yard as well as the street spotless! I have referred them to others and will continue to do so. We plan on having Brennan plant a new tree!

Full Canopy Tree Care is an impressive operation. It is my observation that the leader sets the tone for the organization and this was the case with the Full Canopy Tree Care operation. I called Brennon, the owner, on a Saturday and told him we needed an arborist to assess a tree that would be impacted by construction plans to replace the garage at our 1941 Travis Heights home. Our intention was to preserve the tree, a 26 inch Sycamore, and the assessment was a requirement of our architect and ultimately the city. Brennon was highly knowledgeable, walked me through the process with the city and quoted me prices for the various steps that could possibly be required. To my pleasant surprise Brennon made an onsite assessment of the tree later that day and called me with his findings. He discovered that the tree was at the end of its life cycle and had extensive internal rot and a fungus. In short, the tree was not viable. I agreed to engage him to submit an application for removal which he completed before end of day. Amazing hustle! The city agreed with Brennon's findings and the permit to take the tree down was obtained. We set a date and a time for the work to be done and Brennon and his team arrived punctually and with an amazing array of impeccably maintained best in class equipment. To a person his crew was professional and courteous. Brennon walked us around the yard to review the work performed and explained the follow up visits that will take place for full removal of the stump.

He is super knowledgable and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. Also what I really liked is he asked me what I wanted to do and then asked me about my budget for the project. He did exactly what was needed at my price point.

He also just wants to help people. Before doing any tree trimming he noticed that my large oak tree in the front yard and our sewer line that was running underneath the tree. He advised I get the line scoped to make sure there weren't any roots in there. Well, there were roots in there! Before he did any work he easily saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. That's the type of guy he is.

His passion is backed up by his work. His crew came out and trimmed and pruned my large oak tree. They also removed a tree in my yard, grinding the stump and cleaning around the empty area. They also used an air spade around my larger tree to help promote the root health and tree structure. Brennon gave me some basic instructions on how to returf my yard and some suggestions for some landscape design that I could think over.
