Premium Siding and Painting

Recently Joe Jaimes and the PSP crew completed removal of my vertical 4 x 8 Masonite siding which was 32 years old and really showing its age. It was time for replacement. Joe was my PSP contact and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable through out the process. I had all the Masonite replaced with James Hardie lap siding and new paint applied. It looks so good, neat and new! The siding crew was very professional and installed the siding and cleaned up the construction debris very well. The paint crew did a nice job as well. I was really struggling with a color choice for the new siding and Joe tracked down a Sherwin Williams color wheel to help me decide on a color. Joe is also having a double pane window replaced for me as well. All my questions were answered promptly and throughly. Any special requests I had were completed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend PSP for your siding and painting needs, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Joe and crew for a great job!

We recently hired Premium Siding & Painting to fully replace all wooden siding, with James Hardie board siding, on the 50+-year-old, 2-story duplex in south Austin that we own and live in. We paid for the work on our own, but were required by the insurance company to repair specific siding areas within 30 days. Gabriel, the project manager for Premium, quoted us a great price, gave us a three-payment schedule, started the work right away, prioritized the insurance-required areas, and finished the entire duplex on time. We were so impressed with Premium after this that we hired Premium to replace the entire roof as well, right after the siding project.

Gabriel was awesome! He communicated with me daily, answered all my calls, responded immediately to texts, and promptly solved all issues that popped up during the project. Gabriel is wonderful to work with - so kind, honest, and reliable. Every day, he worked diligently to make sure that every step of the work was done on time to our satisfaction. He came by every day to monitor project status, inspect the work, and answer questions. He and the siding team fully explained (and showed photos of) extra wood studs that needed to be replaced, and the add-on costs for them, if they exceeded the number of studs covered by the contract price.

The siding work was done by Adrian (team lead), Mario, and Chaparro. They are the best workers I have ever had work on the duplex over the past 30 years. Each of them is an exceptional carpenter, pays close attention to every detail, and goes above and beyond. It was amazing to see how much beautiful work they could get done in a day (or a half day!). As Adrian said when I first met him, “when we are done, your house will look brand new”, and they did exactly that. I could not be happier with the work they have done for us. They were super-friendly, and meticulously cleaned up the work area each day.

The painting work was then done by Miguel, Joel, and Jose. They did excellent work and finished the entire duplex in three days! This included preparing the house to be painted; spray-painting the body of the house; hand-painting the trim and posts; not dripping paint; and keeping the two different paint colors we chose (for body and trim) from overlapping. They, too, thoroughly cleaned up the work area every day.

The 5-man roof team did excellent work. They removed the old shingles; replaced deteriorated boards under the old shingles; repaired all leaking areas; and re-shingled the entire duplex roof. They also spotted a problem with a chimney cap and replaced it with a new one. They finished by cleaning up the entire work site completely. All in one day!

I give Premium Siding & Painting Company my highest recommendation and would not hesitate to hire them again for any remodeling work. Everyone at Premium we dealt with demonstrated honesty & integrity, high quality, excellent value for what you pay for, and warm, caring customer service.

Frank and his entire team are awesome! I have known and worked with PSP for close to 20 years and they have never let me down. PSP has done various roofing and exterior siding and painting projects for me over the years and their workmanship is always excellent. I wouldn't think of using anyone else. Thank you PSP!
