Michael and his crew responded to my request for service quickly. I got a very detailed quote at the beginning of the process. They found the underground water leak and had it fixed in no time. Can’t recommend them enough.

Our pool leaks 1/2” per 24 hours. After $2000 in diagnostics and repairs we had to cut our losses and let this company go. Our pool is still leaking 1/2” per night.
That’s a lot of money for zero results. We simply could not afford to work with them.

After the Winter Storm some time back, we had a pretty significant leak in our pool causing ridiculously high water bills. The builder and my weekly pool maintenance company basically said “you’re on your own.”

I called McTarga and as a family business, I can appreciate and respect what they said. In short, they said we’ll come out and give you an estimate, but can’t start the job until we come back from a Disney vacation with our kids. I like that. Family first.

Long story short, they came by, were courteous and quickly fixed it, and checked in to ensure we were satisfied. The bills are back to normal and no more leak!

My main pump didn't have pressure. Previously I was told by other pool companies that I didn't have a leak. I thought differently. My pool water was losing inches beyond the estimated inches expected in our climate.

Since the main pipe didn't have pressure, I knew I had a problem.
Finally, I found a knowledgeable leak detection company that identified the leak, fixed it, cosmetically replaced the area and removed the debris. I now have my pump back to the correct pressure, my water is maintaining it's proper level and my pool is crystal clear!

I am so appreciative of these folks. I had a problem with my pool that wasn't exactly a normal thing they do. They took the job and did fantastic work. Very communicative and pleasant. Great all around experience. I actually hope I don't see them again cause that means I have a problem. But if I need someone to help me, they will be the first called. We were so pleased with McTarga Pools. We noticed a possible leak. Michael came to our house & was very thorough. He found the source of our leak and was able to have his team fix it in a timely manner. Michael and his entire team were great & very professional.

I have been struggling with getting my pool fixed for quite a while. Other companies had supposedly "fixed" the problem but the leak kept getting worse to the point that I was adding water every other day. Michael and Becky responded very quickly to my request for help and found the leak and repaired it in just a few days. I wish I found them before I went through all the other companies, but better late than never. I highly recommend McTarga.

McTarga did an incredible job, first of all finding the leak in our Spa that no one else could find and secondly cutting out solid rock wall to manage a very difficult plumbing connection and replacing back the rock absolutely perfectly!
I would recommend them to anyone with a pool/spa leak.

Michael and his team recently helped me with a skimmer replacement and some additional plumbing repairs, and overall, we had a great experience with them ( well, as great of a time as you can have fixing a pool leak :). Becky from the office was quick to respond to my inquiry and schedule Michael for the initial leak detection service. He utilized pressure testing and some hightech audio equipment to find my skimmer leak, then he and his team of plumber's did excellent work repairing the leak. Overall, their communication was excellent, and I was made aware of all of the costs of repair along the way.

I can’t say enough great things about Mike and Becky from McTarga pools! Becky was super responsive and got us scheduled right away for detection. Mike and his team worked tirelessly! Once it was identified, Mike gave us a clear plan of what needed to happen, the cost, and the timeline. They came to do the repairs a few days later and got the job done efficiently and no more leak. On top of this, Mike is such a genuine and kind person. Great people and great work. Highly recommend!!

Original Review: Had a great experience with this Austin company form the initial phone call and follow up communication with Becky to Mike and his assistant who came to our home for a leak diagnosis and in my case they were able to stop the leak until repairs can be done. They were thorough, professional, personable and definitely masters of their craft.
