Couldn't be more pleased with the level of expertise and diagnosing of my elm tree's problems, and the options available to deal with them.
And Priscilla was a gracious and well spoken representative of the company, and will use them again if I need to in the future.

So my giant tree (about 100') out front has a fungus working it's way down its lowest branch & I read about what it was. Found something called Hypoxylon Canker & it can kill the tree if it gets to the trunk. This tree was a factor in us buying the house. It's huge and majestic and awesome so I got really worried because it's gonna be at the trunk in a month or so. Then it's curtains for the tree.

I was concerned about finding the right people to help because I didn't want them to be like "O well, there's nothing we can do. Guess you better pay us to cut down your tree." Kind of like when you go to a mechanic or dentist they always find something wrong so they can get paid. So I looked up who had legit, certified arborists & seemed like they care and came to Austin Tree Surgeons.

I left a message on a Sunday & within 15 mins of them opening on Monday, I got a call. We're also in the height of the pandemic, so I was unsure if I'd even get a response let alone one immediately. They sent Paul the next day & he was super helpful & knowledgeable. Definitely a legit expert that cared about saving the tree. We're under social distancing right now so when he got to the front yard and checked it all out he called me and we spoke on the phone & gave me the whole run-down. They're also really responsive when you call the office. Like 2 rings and they pick up. They even called back when I butt dialed them yesterday.

Wrt to the tree, squirrels likely took a chunk out of the branch & then it spread from there. Paul gave me exactly how to fix it on my own complete with care instructions for after. Then he diagnosed other smaller issues I should be proactive about to give the tree some other help. He was patient while I asked a million questions and had helpful answers for all of them. I'm super happy I chose Austin tree surgeons & I'm so grateful they were able to help me, especially in such crazy times. AND the $150 it cost (which is way cheaper than I expected btw) goes towards cutting the limb off if you want them to do it. We're gonna amputate the bad limb ourselves cuz my wife and I are bosses like that, but that's really cool of them.

Definitely money well spent and if you're worried about losing a tree that's dear to you, you can definitely put your trust in them.

Jessica was a pleasure to work with. She explained in detail and in words I can understand the status of our tree problem, probable cause, recommended treatment and alternatives, and expected results. Her answers to my few questions were complete, and she checked to be sure I understood. A good professional arborist and nice person to work with. Also, my call to their office for information and to make an appointment was taken by a pleasant, efficient, informative person (sorry, I don't remember the name). I highly recommend Jessica and Austin Tree Service.

Responded quickly and sent an arborist who diagnosed the issue quickly. Afterwards scheduled a trimming and the crew who came was very communicative and did a great job. Price was extremely fair will definitely use them again for any future tree service needs.

LOVE these guys! They are the best and have been taking care of my trees since they were just babies. They love trees and take EXCELLENT care of them. Prompt, efficient and they clean up the site as well. Cant say enough good things about them. Your trees will appreciate it and you will love their work!

Austin Tree Surgeons did a great job trimming the branches of my neighbors trees that hang on my yard. The arborist came out the next day after I contacted them and the quote was very agreeable and I scheduled service with them immediately and they came out the following day and did a great job. They asked me to check before they headed out and it was perfect. They cleaned up after themselves and now my back yard is clear. I will use them again and I highly recommend Austin Tree Surgeons.

The two-man crew were prompt, courteous, and professional. They did a superb job of trimming our trees and cleaning up after. I wasn't totally satisfied and asked the arborist to come back and review with me. Jessica came back and we talked, and she agreed that two more limbs needed to be removed. the next day, the crew came back, apologized (wasn't necessary), then got the additional work done in less than 20 minutes. Great job. No additional cost. I will definitely use them again and referred them as well.

I’ve used Austin Tree Surgeons several times over the past 10 years for tree trimming and deep root fertilizing. They do excellent work, and the staff and crew are always very friendly and professional. Your trees are in good hands with these surgeons. 10/10

WOW. They came out quickly, arborist helped me understand options.... then they did all my tree trimming and two tree removals and planted my new tree, and hauled off everything too! they came back next day to grind tree stump as promised. very professional, outstanding service. I'm very happy with the work performed by Austin Tree Surgeons. I had them clear my roof line and remove two trees (one of which was a massive, 50 foot Hackberry). I was very nervous, as the large tree was close to my house and spanned over my pool and hot tub, but the crew was very skilled and efficient and managed to take it all down without incident.

I highly recommend Austin Tree Surgeons, as they clearly take pride in doing a fantastic job.

Excellent job - the crew was outstanding! Did the lengthy list of chores, cleaned up everything and were done in an hour! I enjoyed the men climbing the trees with no effort - the chipper was pretty fun too!

Great customer service from beginning to end. Received a reasonable estimate to have a dying cedar elm removed (when compared to two other companies with equally good reviews). The crew showed up when they said they would, took the tree down without incident, and left my deck and backyard spotless. Hopefully, I won't need their services again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to call them.
