Tree reviews in Austin, Texas

You know that feeling you get when you know you’re talking to someone who really knows what they’re talking about? This is how I felt after talking to certified arborist Brennon Magee for Full Canopy Tree Care when he was at our house giving us an estimate for the routine tree trimming and the other stuff we needed. And the services he and his crew performed were excellent and reasonably priced.

We our new homeowners and, after three years, we decided we needed to start trimming our live oak trees here in Round Rock. We read that it’s highly recommended to hire a certified arborist for this kind of thing. Reviews were great, so I called them.

When Brennon arrived, one of the first things he noticed was the poor tree trimming one of our neighbors had just done (after I casually mentioned they had just gotten their trees trimmed), and this wasn’t some kind of BS—you could tell it was the kind of spontaneous thought that would naturally occur to a certified arborist upon seeing a bad job. Dude really cares about the long-term health of trees, and this is real clear based on my convos with him and his crew and the quality of their work. He’s like a tree doctor.

Anyway, we ended up also asking him to remove some annoying smaller trees and other plants, and he explained exactly how he was going to first mostly remove them except for bits of the trunks, paint the stumps with his special herbicide, and return later to finish the removals. This, he explained, would result in these things likely not growing back but without using an excessive amount of herbicide.

I feel a lot more knowledgeable about live oak trees after speaking with Brennon. I feel a lot better now that the trees are farther from my roof and not inviting animals to hang out on the roof. I feel like you feel when you know you hired someone to do a job and the job just gets done proficiently without any kind of problem or BS. Full Canopy Tree Care is definitely now on my roster of people I call for things this house needs. I can’t see how you could do better.

Excellent, efficient tree care. Had an old pecan tree die in my front yard--Brosnan Tree took care of it expeditiously.

Tim is the man and does absolutely beautiful work. Crew was on time, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

Brosnan Tree is the only company I let touch my trees. Austin can be a tricky place for trees and it is so important to have a Certified Arborist who knows what they are doing. Tim has been taking care of my Live Oaks, Pecans, Mexican Oaks, Fruit trees, etc.. and keeps them in top notch shape. I have watched them grow and thrive for the past decade with Tim's excellent care of them!

Tim Brosnan and his team are the only arborists we will ever use! They are knowledgeable, responsive, ethical, reasonably priced, and always cognizant of the big picture of the health of our property and home. If Tim says he’s going to be there, he IS going to be there. His work always exceeds expectations. I cannot recommend Brosnan Tree highly enough!

Tim Brosnan is the real deal. He's a great arborist and loves helping clients maximize their planted investments. I've worked with Tim for probably 15 years and know him to be capable, reasonable, and an amazing resource on all tree related questions. I would 100% recommend him to any person needing a great arborist in the Greater Austin area.

Tim and his team are incredible. We have been using him regularly for 8 years, across two properties in Austin. Tim is kind, honest, extremely hard-working, and fair. The dude loves trees and people - what more do you want from your arborist? He's deeply knowledgeable and that's obvious when you work with him. He gently directs you towards various solutions. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Tim and his crew has kept up our 50-year-old oak trees for many years now and they have always done a very good job. They quote a good price, arrive on the agreed date, clean up very thoroughly, and have left us very satisfied with their work every time. We highly recommend this company!

I located Brosnan Tree through the KUT business finder service and I'm very glad I did. In summary, they re-cabled a couple of live oak limbs, pruned some live oak limbs out of my reach and assisted me in responding to my homeowners insurance that had notified me that my insurance was going to be canceled because of limbs overhanging my home.

Tim went the extra mile to write a letter to my homeowners insurance company notifying them that the trees are protected, that they are well cared for and pose no threat to my home. The insurance company responded with a week saying my non-renewal had been rescinded.

I call that a win, which wouldn't have happened without Tim's expertise and additional assistance. I highly recommend Brosnan Tree.
