Tree reviews in Azle, Texas

We have used Ballard tree service a few times and they have always done an excellent job! They are priced fair, the staff is always friendly and respectful of your property. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I called four tree trimming companies to get quotes on a trim of our very old and large oak tree and the removal of a tree. Ballard was the only one who cared about how the trim would affect my tree and genuinely seemed to care about the tree! They also listened to what I wanted done rather than telling me what needed to be done. They also quoted me a price that was substantially less than I was expecting for the amount of work needed. Hiram and his crew were amazing and made sure we were satisfied with the trim before leaving. The stump grinding team was great and worked safely and efficiently. I will definitely recommend Ballard to anyone who asks and will use them again in the future.

We hired Ballard Tree Service to trim trees in a large area. Shawn came out to bid the job, and sent a crew of four gentlemen to work. Matt supervised the crew and kept them busy over four days. They did a nice job and all were very polite and professional. Hats off to Matt who had to take a detour from trimming to cut a young deer out of the fence, when it got hung. Thank you all!

We've been using Ballard for years and have never been disappointed! Shawn is friendly and thorough when he prepares his estimate. And every team that's come out to work has been excellent! Matt and his crew were super and cleaned up great. Matt really hustled and got the work done fast!

We are extremely happy with the team involved in doing a major trim and reshaping of two of our large live oaks over our driveway. I was treated with great respect, asking several times if we were happy and if we agreed with what the plan was! They cleared all of the debris and loaded it on their trailer and swept the driveway. We are having them come back in the fall to trim the rest. Pricing was very fair, but everyone from the office, the sales person who quoted the job to the team that performed the job. Just outstanding. We highly recommend Ballard Tree Service! Johnny and Gail Thomas

Excellent service. Highly recommend. The crew was exceptional, well trained and professional.

We had 2 30 to 35 feet trees removed and 1 other tree was trimmed of hanging branches. The 3 young who showed up were polite and caring of our property. They left my yard clean and made sure we were satisfied with there service. I would recommend Ballard to everyone who needs trees taken care of.

Repeat customer. Ballard Tree Service has trimmed our huge oaks in the front for almost two decades, coming out every 4-5 years. They have also removed a spruce, ash, and hackberry when required. Always fast, friendly service.

We recently moved into a new construction home and needed to have the existing trees on the property trimmed. Sean came out first to assess the trees and make his recommendations. I was so grateful for how knowledgeable Sean was and his patience in answering my questions. The crew that came out this morning was outstanding! They were professional, kind and did amazing work on the trees! I highly recommend Ballard Tree Service and we will definitely continue to use their services. 👍🏻

Ballard Tree Service is absolutely the best, I can't say enough good things about them. Dawn, Shawn, Hiram and crew were very professional, safe and easy to communicate and work with. They do what they say they are going to do and arrive on time. They are very good at what they do and when through thoroughly cleaned up my property. Their prices are very fair as well. I'm extremely impressed with this company and will definitely use them in the future. They are a solid 5 STAR COMPANY!

The crew from Ballard Tree Service are amazing. They were able to cut down our two trees within less than 30 min. Not only are they fast they are super professional.

Hiram and his crew were fantastic. Arrived on time. Great communication. Professional and thorough throughout the project.

Shawn is great, and the work team was too! They were very professional, and did a very nice job of trimming a big oak tree and several crepe myrtle trees. Then did an awesome job of cleaning up - would highly recommend Ballard Tree Service!

I rarely give reviews but felt this one needed to be done. Shawn dropped by to give me an estimate on addressing the needs of 2 live oaks in my yard. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and delivered a very competitive price estimate. The crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. Everything was done to my complete satisfaction, including a thorough cleanup. Ballard will be my tree service from now on, without reservation. Thanks guys.

They did great work. Showed up as scheduled and they even gave me names of all that were there. Answered all my questions. Was really impressed. Hyrim was totally a professional. Will use again, for sure!

I’ve used Ballard tree service twice now, once to cut down a dead tree and another to trim a big pecan tree in my yard, and my experience has been wonderful both times! They are very quick to respond, seem quite knowledgeable, and conduct themselves very professionally. I also accidentally overpaid one of my bills (only by cents) and the office called me to let me know practically immediately. All in all, they seem like a great, trustworthy group who have their customers best interests at heart.

Hiram and his crew arrived on time. He explained what they were going to do and they worked efficiently and quickly. When they were done they cleaned up the areas around the house. Hiram asked if I was satisfied with the work. I say A+ to a job well done. In this time when the words customer service are meaningless, it was a great to have a positive experience.
Hooray to Hiram and the crew!
Bravo to Ballard.

This is actually my second review, can’t find the first review.

Shawn, Ballard’s estimator, was very helpful and gave me a very fair estimate.

Matt, the foreman of the crew that did the work removing trees and brush, was very easy to work with, he and his crew did superb work, left my yard pristine.

Matt and his crew went above and beyond, making absolutely sure I was very happy with their work, and succeeded brilliantly!

I’ve already recommended Ballard Tree Service to a good friend and my niece.

Well done, Ballard Tree Service!

My Mother recommended Ballard. They were great and easy to work with. The crew was very polite and knowledgeable. My Oak looks fantastic.

Had a whole list of pretty difficult tree trimming around the house and our shed, including the removal of a pretty large pecan tree that died. You can’t even tell where the felled the tree and completely happy with the trimming. The crew was polite and professional as was Shawn, their estimator. Highly recommended!

"Trees Hurt Too" referred us to Ballard Tree Service. The tree service performs tree trimming and removal of dead branches.

We had to wait until Spring for the leaves to grow back. This way we can see which branches are alive or dead. Removing dead branches aids the tree’s health.

The leader of the tree service climbed up high into the tree canopy. He would cut the branches. His team would bring down the cuts with ropes. Some of his men tidied up the leaves and smaller branches and twigs. The debris was fed into a wood chipper to reduce the volume.

The crew labored with purpose and speed. They were thorough in the cleanup. It was a joy to see them progress. It was fascinating to see someone climb without heavy equipment.

The results make the trees look more beautiful. No wonder they have a high rating.
