Home Services at The Home Depot

I have recently had horrible service with Home depot. I went to buy granite and backsplash for a total around $3k. We were told that start to finish would be 3-4 weeks. I did not even get measured until 6 weeks out then they took another 2-3 weeks to fabricate and 2 weeks tile they could install. NOW they still have to do the backsplash and wont measure till the granite is in or even take an appointment for the day after it is put in. I have to wait again for 1 month to get an appointment for the people to measure! If I had know this I would not have started the process. BEST PART is that I have called repeatedly trying to give them money and order the backsplash and every time I get a guy that says they will have to call me back......NO CALLS YET! I had to find a number to the corporate HQ and find my way to a AWESOME customer service rep who has helped push the pen a little and get some fires lit. I should not have to do this every time i want to make a purchase. It seems as if they are 1. Understaffed, 2. Don't care because they don't work on commission as I was told. I used to have great service but I guess when you want to spend alot they don't have what it takes to get the job done.

I was lied too.
I was neglected
Horrible service
Forgotten about once they had my money

I would not recommend anyone buy Granite or Backsplash from these people.

I bought Defender Home Security system through Home Depot. Before selling a product, Home Depot should try to install it themselves or, better yet, have an installer on site. Trying to get support from Ontario Canada has proved to be futile. The main reason is installation involves a third party---in my case, Time Warner Cable. TWC was most cooperative, even though I was trying to install a separate system.

This is the second time I have been disappointed due to following up on a Home Depot recommendation.
