Landscape Lighting Designer reviews in Benbrook, Texas

Tim installed our outdoor lighting system several years ago We love the difference it makes in our yard and house exterior at night. The design and light choices were great and he responded quickly when anything needed attention. He is an excellent contractor that we would highly recommend.

Tim did a fantastic job with our backyard lighting. He made several recommendations and then brought actual samples of the lighting and set it up on battery power for us to see how it would look at night. It really made all the difference in what we selected, where lights were installed, and how we would set them up on a timer. Our backyard is gorgeous and our hidden driveway is gently lit for safety. Tim is highly responsive to questions and an all around truly nice person to work with.

Tim was very responsive to our outdoor lighting needs. His attention to detail is superb. He listens to the needs of his customers. He uses high quality lighting and offers outstanding warranties from the manufacturer. It elevated the approx our property. Definitely worth the investment!

Can’t get a return call or email. Every other company I contacted about my project had the courtesy to contact me fairly quickly

Tim and his team are very responsive and accommodating to make certain your expectations are met.

Prompt, professional and personable. Made great suggestions and listened to our expectations. Made adjustments and changes as requested with a smile! Used high quality lighting equipment. I would recommend them without hesitation. Our job looks just like a I imagined!

Tim and his team were friendly and professional, and their work was excellent. They worked with me and made my vision come to life. It turned out even better than I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend them for any lighting needs.

Exceptional results! Tim and his team took a front yard & courtyard from "OK" to "Wow" in just a couple of days. We're very pleased with their efforts... We've received many positive comments from friends & neighbors, too.
We highly recommend Tim Doogs' Landscape Lighting & Design for any improvements you might need.

Tim and his co-worker Bill designed and installed a beautiful system of lights to replace an older setup that had, over the years, failed. We've been thrilled with the nighttime effect for a couple of years. Unfortunately, a freak lightning strike took out all the lamps, leaving the transformers fully operational, a few weeks ago. Tim and Bill rolled back in and replaced all the destroyed fixtures with new ones, covered under warranty. We cannot recommend this team too highly for your landscape lighting needs! (They also gave us some good pointers to plants to try out in our shade-dominated front yard, which have proved to be very good choices.)

Tim has totally transformed our home with his lighting, We appreciate the time he took demoing different lights, angles and placement to achieve the look we wanted. He and his crew are very professional and take pride in their work. Quality and workmanship are 1st class!

Landscape Lighting and Design is a new offshoot for Tim. I have used Tim as early as 2003 when he installed a koi pond and landscaping in my backyard. Through the years I have called him for service and question. Tim has always responded promptly and followed through on his promises. He recently installed lighting in my backyard and I am loving it! It has a timer that comes on and goes off with sunset and sunrise. It's great having that secure peace of mind when I'm home or traveling. Highly recommend these guys.

Very professional and timely response to e-mail to and text messages. Tim stands behind his service and products. He really knew how to highlight the best features of our house and yard. Would recommend him for any landscape lighting projects.

Tim delivers with professional pride in his work and his service, goes the extra mile and exceeds expectations. Easy to work with, too. Five stars is an understatement. Dale and Gail

We have used Tim Doogs for several landscaping projects/modifications over the years and have been extremely pleased with the results. Tim has an eye for creating a unique look and has been respectful of our desire for low-maintenance, unlike some of our previous experiences. When we ask him for changes in the look of our existing landscape, he complies without trying to come up with a complete (and expensive) overhaul.
Lately, we have used his firm primarily for maintenance of a large fountain in our yard and found them to be responsive, very competent and competitively priced.
Overall, we have been very pleased and recommend Tim and his firm without any hesitation.

Tim Doogs installed some landscaping lights for our front yard back in 2020, including tree uplights, since our forever home didn’t have great lighting. I was very satisfied with the results then — and still absolutely love the look today.
Fast forward to 2025, and we had one light go out in the front yard. I submitted a simple service request, and it was handled promptly and easily — thanks to the lifetime warranty on the products installed.

Tim is not only extremely professional but also very personable — it's always a pleasure to just chat with him. Highly recommend!

Tim and his company are in front of the design and installation the entire way. They make sure your install is exactly what you wanted and make sure it is a flawless process from the beginning . They are competitive in estimates and give you all the design alternatives.

They installed some fence lighting for some additional security and backyard enjoyment and then lit up our 30 plus foot palm tree.
It’s all low voltage but very bright lights. The palm even has multiple colors to choose from with a small handheld remote.

Don’t look anywhere else. Tim and company are the best in the city.
