We lost power to 1/2 of my house today with no obvious issues. I called and spoke with Brian and he suggested I first call PEC and make sure it wasn't on their end. I did that and low and behold it was on their end. He could have easily come out and charged me just to say the same thing. Much Respect

Brian really helped out in a crunch. We needed our meter loop rebuilt and he came out and knocked it out fast so we could have our electric hooked up. He was very professional and always smiling even when it was 100° outside. I would definitely recommend Bertram Electric to anyone.

They were very friendly and helpful and got the job done, and my dog Kiah liked them a lot. I had 2 breakers replaced, a surge protector installed, and a generator inlet put in place. All done very professionally and at a great price.

Brian is the best master electrician I have ever hired for a job. He is extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and does amazing work. He does not cut any corners and utilizes the best parts. He is also very reasonable with pricing. I would highly recommend Brian Houts for any future electrical repairs. I will be calling him next time I need a repair. The dude is the best in the business.

I reached out to Brian at like 7pm last night asking if he could come assist me with an electrical outlet. He responded right away, and was able to fit me in this morning first thing. He should up on time, professional, was knowledgeable, listened to what I had to say and clearly explained to me what he was doing. His prices are very competitive, and he was quick and efficient and got the work done well. Will definitely work with him again and I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done!

Was helping out a family member with trying to find someone who could fix the breaker that kept tripping on their refrigerator. Brian responded quickly on a Saturday and fixed the issue. The price was very fair and about half of what other companies would have charged.

Brian at Bertram Electric was prompt, professional, and went out of his way to come out on a Friday evening to get our electrical hooked up when we had an unexpected issue at our home.

Brian did an awesome job replacing a GFCI outlet for me. He knows what he is doing and explains what he was doing. He will be my new electrician from this day forward. He graduated with my oldest daughter, always great to see students from Liberty Hill doing great things.

Five Stars - Outstanding Help on a Saturday Evening

I was attempting what should’ve been a simple light switch replacement, but I quickly found myself stuck and frustrated. After 45 minutes of googling, reading the manual, swapping wires, and second-guessing myself,I was no closer to solving the problem.

Thankfully, I live just down the road and had heard good things about Brian at Bertram Electric. Even though it was a Saturday evening, Brian took my call without hesitation. He was calm, kind, and reassuring—exactly what I needed in that moment. I told him, “I like to think I’m a smart man, but I’m not a smart electrician.” We both laughed.

I sent him one blurry photo (the only one that would go through), and somehow—miraculously—he was able to spot the problem: I had miswired the neutral. He helped me fix the issue quickly, all over text and without ever stepping foot in my home.

Brian is incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and genuinely a pleasure to talk to. He didn’t make me feel dumb or embarrassed—just supported and capable. He’s hands down the best electrician in Bertram, and I can’t wait to work with him again in the future.

What can I say that hasn't already been said...

Brian is a master electrician AND an awesome dude. I had to replace a built-in wall oven and, after getting the old one out, wasn't sure about the 3-wire connection the house was built with. Upon calling Bertram Electric based on previous recommendations from folks in my neighborhood, I immediately knew not only would he would be able to help me address it, but more importantly he'd do it correctly. He'll be my electrician from here on out on some future projects! Highly recommend!

We had a light that was flickering. He showed up quickly, but he didn’t take the time to check the wiring, he just replaced the fixture with a fixture we had on hand. He spent less than 5 minutes on it and charged us $150. When I contacted him the next day to let him know that he didn’t fix the issue, he never replied.
If I could give him zero stars, I would.
