Glen provided excellent service before and during my appointment to trouble shoot why my Vent-A-Hood was no longer operating. He asked lots of questions prior to the visit to make sure he had all the right parts with him when he showed up and he quickly figured out the issue and got my hood fan back up and running. With his friendly demeanor and advice for operating the hood fan I would recommend Glen's services to anyone.

TLDR: made promises on his bid he did not fulfill. He told me he would clean the vents, and when I pointed out, there was grease in them still, he became argumentative and said, “I don’t work on that kind of vent.” Rather than acknowledge the mistake he argued with me and repeated the excuse, “I don’t work on those kind of vents,” ad nauseam.

We made an appointment for a bid at 1 o’clock. The gentleman showed up at 3 o’clock. We agreed on a price for him to clean two vent hoods, the vents, and the wall behind the larger vent hood. I asked if he could begin immediately and he said he could not because our gates will be locked in three hours. I explained we could easily have a safety officer stay with him in the gate only locks on the outside. It’s designed to let people out, not in. He still refused and asked when we opened in the morning so he could be here first thing. I told him we open at 6 AM and he said he would be here at 9 o’clock.

He and his helper got to work around 945. After the work was done, He began trying to upsell me on polishing all of the steel he had cleaned. I asked about our vents being cleaned because they still had grease in them. He told me that was not true at all and so I showed him the vent and put my finger in it so he could see the grease. I told him he said he would clean them, and he replied, “I didn’t say I would clean them, I said I would pressure wash them.” I told him, either way they are not clean. He said he pressure washed the front and the back. I flipped the vent over and it was greasy. He then said, “I don’t work on those kind of vents.” I asked him why he didn’t mention that yesterday when he said he would clean the Wentz, and he doubled down On Never saying he would clean anything only that he would pressure wash things. He became ugly, obstinate, and difficult to deal with. He continually repeated himself saying, “I don’t work on those kind of Wentz.” Until I became angry, paid him, and asked him to delete.

Residential Vent A Hood cleaning. Customer service was exemplary, from scheduling appointment until job completed. Price quoted was price paid. The cleaning techniques used were what I had researched so I believe I got a thorough cleaning.

Love the work they did for our coffee and Kolaches shop ( Pecan Perk Cafe) I truly appreciate everything they did from installing the vent/hood type one to supression system. We passed our permit from the first time and everything works beautifully. So professional and accurate on the time lines they provided us with.
