Great place to get what you looking for when it comes to Nursery very good selection on plants

This is a great nursery and garden center. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They have a very large selection even for this time of year (Early February). The prices are better or the same as other garden centers. It is also a very clean store.

I couldn't have asked for a better plant-buying experience! Look for Joshua when you stop by and I promise you'll be in knowledgeable and insightful hands! He taught me the basics of caring for English Ivy while providing excellent tips for future seasonal planting. I also found a cute air plant made to look like a jellyfish. :)

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I overheard one staff member going into nice detail on how to choose and take care of indoor plants. They had a good selection of both indoor and outdoor plants that seemed pretty well maintained.

Great options and felt safe during covid with everyone wearing masks. Sher helped us with our planting needs and even scouted out the store to bring us suggestions. She was an amazing help and very kind and fun to talk to.

The herb and flower are good. But I found aphid at my zucchini and powdery mildew at my cucumber just one day after I bought them. Although they had good service and friendly staff who would assist me to get rid of that stuff, I thought I would never buy vegetables there.

I can't speak for other locations, but MAN, the Carrollton Calloway's is like the Trader Joe's of nurseries. All the employees are SO nice, SO helpful, and they're all just genuinely happy to be there. My fiancé and I go about once every 1-2 weeks and we always leave happier than when we arrived. The selection of plants is superb, but the employees really make all the difference. Having a bad day? Stop by the Calloway's on Parker and you'll leave with a leafy green friend and a smile on your face. 🌿☺️

What an amazing experience! I went to Calloways just to peak at prices and options for plants and met an amazing staff member. Layne! Layne was so helpful and went beyond my expectations. Turns out Layne was so fabulous that she sold me on the pick and plant service and turns out I ripped out my entire landscape and replaced everything with Layne’s expertise and guidance. If you need any sort of plant, flower, pots, you name it; go see Layne at Calloways in Carrollton. Layne is my forever go to girl!

As for the pick and plant service with Calloways…such a great option if you are planting a lot and large plants such as a tree and or large shrubs. Carlos was assigned my account and let me say that I am forever thankful for getting Carlos!!!! Carlos was so knowledgeable on my plants and took all the time I needed to place each item (200+ items) in the perfect place in my yard. Carlos was patient with me and had fabulous ideas that I never would have thought of. Carlos was very friendly and professional. If you decide to do the pick and plant I suggest asking for Carlos to do your planting.

If you go to Calloways in Carrollton please so for Layne, you won’t regret it! Layne is so professional, kind and knowledgeable and a true believer in her love for people and plants!!!!

Disappointed this year. Tried their pick and plant service in which a Calloway employee helped us select the plants and their installer planted everything. What didn't die on the first week, never bloomed. I question their quality, and will try a different nursery next spring

Started working from home a few weeks ago and needed plants for my home office. Went to the usual Walmart and Home depot but nobody there knew anything about the plants they were selling. A lady in line suggested Calloway's. Stopped in to one of their smaller stores and what a difference. Got help immediately. Was given the store tour by Harris with tips on keeping my plants alive. Happy to say they are still alive and thriving.

I love the set up, but this place is Highly overpriced if you are just purchasing for a home garden. I bought a hanging planter at Home Depot for $11, and the exact same planter was priced at $29.99 here. Walmart and Home Depot have fruits and veggies for a lot less money, and a better variety. This store has a much bigger variety of flowers/plants, but be prepared to pay a premium amount for them. Even garden accessories are at least 3X the amount other stores charge. Aside from the manager (or owner), the staff are both knowledgeable and a delight to consult. The last time I was in the store, apparently I was not worth the manager (or owners) time. She ignored my questions and would not so much as even look at me when I spoke to her. Not a fan. If you are looking to purchase mass quantities of shrubs or flowers, I would say this is a good place to go if they will work with you

Josh was an amazing help! I’m new to gardening in general and Josh set me up with a perfect house plant fit for my room conditions and maintenance needs. Plus he was very kind and friendly- 5 stars!

I absolutely love this place!! Layne is always so helpful, kind and knowledgeable, and offers the best advice when it comes to helping me pick out shrubs and flowers for my home. Shes like family to me. 🥰

In the past two months we've spent hundreds of dollars buying plants from this location. We've consistently been given EXCELLENT service and guidance. The selection is huge. When I had plants die, I took them back and they cheerfully made good on their promise. I used to always shop for my plants at the big box stores, to save money, but the quality at Calloway's far exceeds any bargain I could get at those big box stores. I have nothing but good to say about this location, plants, service and staff...I will continue to come back! You should see my gorgeous gardens!

A really well kept place and customer service. I had gotten an assortment of succulents and they needed some friends. The manager Megan had shown me various plants that catered to my needs and had a vast amount of knowledge on the ones she had shown me. This is a great place to get your gardening needs and have great customer service to go along with it. Thank Madam Megan for the wonderful experience.

I loved Colloways! What a wonderful nursery. Their plants were in tip top shape and the plant staff were flying around the area making sure everything was taken care of. They had nice shopping carts and a large variety of beautiful pots (what drew me in from driving by), plants, flowers, cacti, you name it! Very pleased with my visit. The staff were lovely and friendly and even offered me a birthday discount for signing up for they're free club! Thank you for the kindness of allowing me to partake in the birthday discount. I really appreciate it. I highly recommended this nursery to those looking to add more variety to their garden! Or if you're looking for a beautiful outdoor pot. The variety is lovely.

I’ve been here for about 30 minutes and not one person has said Hello or asked me if I needed help. There were few people who came in after I did and instantaneously, they were greeted and helped. I was looking for indoor plants to add to my collection and I did need assistance. The workers here did NOT even make eye contact, but they would walk right pass me at least five times! I will look for another place to purchase my plants from now on. I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service!!!!

I had placed an order for pick up and they didn’t have what I wanted. When they called me to tell me I had to go in person to get my credit honestly, I wasn’t very nice on the phone. (this I regret) Still once I got there the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. I ended up finding something else and was extremely happy with my choice. The people that work here are AMAZING. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

In the past I've always bought plants from big box stores, they have ample quantity but lack quality with many plants dead or dying.

I honestly don't know what took us so long to visit a Calloway's but we are so happy we did. Beautiful healthy plants, and reasonably prices. There were plenty of employees who were super knowledgeable and went out of their way to see if we needed help with anything. We will absolutely be back, also yay for supporting local businesses!
