Deck Builder reviews in Cedar Creek, Texas

The pictures below are displaying the quality of work done at my new place. There is a 4x4 ft of concrete that is missing to my steps, which I was told by Rene that they would be the ones to fill in this area. The cedar hand railings were not sanded and smoothed over. And last but not least they damaged the outside siding, while installing the steps to my front door.

Our Trex deck turned out great! Rene, Angel and crew were fun to work with and flexible. The project finished on time, within quote and actually began earlier than expected.

Our second major project with Red Knights Construction is fantastic! They removed an old deck and turned our small backyard into an oasis, with a new compsite deck with pergola ...and made our new above-ground pool accessible, safe, and gorgeous with a custom pool deck!
They were with us every step of the way, from design ideas before the pool installation, to collaborating with other professionals in person, to building, deciding along the way which way gates would open, etc, and making sure we were satisfied with the results. They did some extras, like move some dirt and bring gravel in to go under the raised pool deck.
Most places have high worker turnover, but we were pleased to see the same team from our son's deck project almost a year ago--and working in this heat! They are so professional, from showing up early AM promptly to picking up tools at day's end to their attitude with us as we had questions along the way. It is easy to see that they are highly skilled, work smart, and work as a team.
As a female, I always felt respected and comfortable around the workers, as did my daughter-in-law.
They were patient in making sure my husband and I both understood and agreed on the plan and were engaged in ongoing decision-making.
They put an integrated walkway between the two deck areas, pulling it all together, and they put a metal fence across the yard for pool safety (something I added along the way, and they made it happen).
The privacy fence on two sides of the pool deck hide us from the neighbors (and hide the AC units and trash cans). However, we can still see a glimpse of green foliage through the spacing of the boards.
We love the rough-hewn cedar uprights, the way the tops of the railings are sanded smooth and without sharp corners, the crisp look of the black railings and gates, the partial shade and expansive feel of the pergola, the privacy fence on the pool deck, and the cool-to-the-touch composite deck material. The composite decking has both warm and cool colors, which we both enjoy, and enough color variation to give it a natural look.
It was a genuine pleasure to work with Rene and Ruby in the office (via phone and in person visits) and Polo and the rest of the team onsite. They were very accessible by phone and text.
When little problems arose, mostly from my wavering decisions, they were very good at patient and consciencious trouble-shooting to come to quick and creative solutions.
Despite some extra work, they still managed to finish ahead of schedule in this heat and quickly pivot to put in a fence our son's yard (which I couldn't get anyone else to do) and replace a deck at our in-laws.
We highly recomment Red Knights Construction for all things deck and outdoor living! -
Renee and his crew did a phenomenal job. They were hard workers, highly skilled, and fast. Renee made recommendations that greatly enhanced the look of the project. We are extremely pleased and highly recommend Red Knights.

Red Knights did an excellent job tearing down our old deck and new install. The foundation was very well done and the composite material is well crafted around all the edges of the deck and steps. Highly recommend.

Rene and his team built a 16’ pergola for us in Drippings Springs, TX. The quality of the build was great and his team were done in about 5-6 hours. Rene was very professional, communicative the whole way through and his team were skilled and clean. Would recommend Red Knight for any outdoor construction project.

Red Knight Construction came referred from a trusted contractor to tackle a risky ask — remove the columns and arches in our kitchen to open up the living space and bring light into our dark kitchen. Red Knight was responsive during the proposal process and quickly outlined our ask in a detailed manner. While we did not move on the project for several months, the contract proposal was to valid and they were able to slate our start date in to just a couple weeks vs. months. During the project they showed up prepared and worked full days. The staff was clean and respectful of our property - wrapping and recovering the furniture, floors and walls to ensure our home was protected during demo, tape, paint and construction. The team understood our visioned and checked in along the way to ensure we were aligned and in agreement in the next steps. They managed through surprises and challenges successfully, communicating early and presenting options. They even drove 4 hours away to pick-up lumber that could have delayed the project by weeks. We are elated with the outcome. The house sparkles like it never could have and the value we have created compared to the effort will be something that we will not regret now and if and when we decide to find our next home. And if we do, we'd be sure to call Red Knight again.

Red Knights Construction just finished our deck and did an amazing job on a challenging project. The quality of the work was that of skilled craftsmen with an attention to detail - rarely seen these days. The team was professional, very patient and willing to answer questions and explain what was going on. They were easy to connect with and calls were answered quickly. The true test of a great company is how they finish the job and Red Knights was in the top 5% of all of the companies we have ever worked with, truly dedicated to getting everything right.
