We bought a home in arlington and our realtor asked electricians where we live for a rec in Arlington and they sent us to J & K Electric. We needed repairs done that were found by the inspector. J&K sent us Ralph who was exceptional and honest. Our repairs were completed in one efficient and hard working day. Price was very reasonable especially considering the expertise that was brought to our house. I strongly recommend --

DO NOT DO BUSINESS with J&K Electric located in Cedar Hill, they have unethical business practices!! We have 5 exterior flood lights around our Assisted Living Home in Duncanville, (please note it is a one story home.) All 5 lights had blown out. Thinking I just needed to change out the bulbs, I removed one of the 5 flood light fixtures (took me less than 5 minutes to remove)... examing it, I discovered it did not use bulbs, but a circuit board. So, I ask my wife to contact J&K Electric, since they originally installed the flood light fixtures a couple years ago, to see if there is a warranty. Mona and John the owners, sent out one of their Day Labors for an evaluation. The Labor inform my wife these type of lights have to be replaced when the burn out. So, he proceeded by removing only 4 lights, since I had already removed one prior. (Please note, each light fixture was held in-place by one screw, then connected by three wires, hot, neutral, and ground. Nothing complex or complicated about this job, a true DYI project.) After removing the 4, he replaced with 5 new Flood Lights. 2 days later we receive an invoice from Mona in the amount of $750.00!! Charges as follows: $100 trip charge (that was to drive from Cedar Hill to Duncanville, less then 5 miles), $300 Labor / $100per hour for 3hrs (Our video camera shows the Labor only working for 1hr and 20mins), and $350/ $70ea for the Flood Light Fixtures (I found these same lights on Amazon for $29.99). When I contacted Mona to question the outrageous invoice, she responded by saying "We should have asked for a quote upfront"!!! WOW! To say, if you don't ask...we will charge whatever!! I have filed a complaint with BBB. Don't be another Piss-Off Customer!

Wow! What a wonderful surprise! We reached out to Tehran Lee for electrical work required by the city for our commercial property. Not only were his rates reasonable and the quality of his work excellent (he's worked for a large commercial electrical company, so he knows his stuff), he showed up on time and did what he said he would do! Needless to say, our "little" job turned into something much more, including grounding our electrical panel and more recently adding an electrical line for our new lighted monument sign! He was always willing to do the difficult and not-so-fun items as well. He understands city codes and how to work with them to get the needed approval. We now refer to Tehran as "our electrician." He will be the ONLY electrician we ever call! Thank you, Tehran!
