Did good work and were able to get permits without issue. Would recommend.

By all measures these folks excelled! Rarely do I give a 5-star rating, but TES and all the employees I encountered, were knowledgeable, friendly, willing to explain what was needed and why, timely, reasonable charges.

We got a message in advance informing us about arrival time.
Asahel and Miqneya turned up on time (actually 5mins early). Both were very courteous, professional, and helpful. Did the job (gas bonding) quickly and efficiently, and answered questions I had. Great service from start to finish from company. Prices were inline with other quotes (5 other providers). -
Just had a good experience with James and Tim. They were careful to place everything exactly right and took the time to make sure it was straight. Really appreciate the diligence. Also they came out the next day when I called.
Thank you,

Texas Electrical Services installed a couple of outlets and did a few other jobs done around my house. They were easy to work with, they arrived on time, they were professional, and they did a great job. I'll definitely call them again.

The February 2023 ice storm caused my neighbors’ tree to fall on the individual power line to my house. Knowing that the city would not repair that line, I reached out to several electricians seeking help. I sent out emails at midnight and this company responded before I woke up the next morning. They sent Efren to access the damage promptly at 9:00 am. He quickly removed the debris that covered my line and had me fully reconnected long before noon! I couldn’t have expected a better response or service!!

Bryce and Jacob were fantastic! They got right to work, tackled multiple problems we were having with specific outlets as well as our brakers, got everything figured out and fixed and were courteous and kind professionals throughout their time in my home! I appreciated the excellent communication before, during and after the service they provided. I would easily recommend this company to anyone in need of electrical services!

We have had TESA out before to repair some light switches, and recently had them out again twice to refit a ceiling fixture, mount a new one, and add an outlet. They were flexible with scheduling, efficient when they got here and professional the entire time. The main electrician I spoke with, James, was especially informative, and would love to use them for any services in the future.

I'm grateful that Texas Electrical Services was able to fit me in for some minor electrical work which I needed done quickly before some interior painting was done. I got a prompt response to my quote request via Yelp Messenger (on a Sunday evening!) and although there is a massive heatwave going on in Austin, they were able to find time to take care of me the following day. The electricians, Bryce and Jhett, provided 5 star service by being courteous and professional in my home and did a great job on the work. Texas Electrical Services is now my go-to whenever I need any electrical work done and I can certainly recommend them to others.

Service industry in Austin is hit and miss. Has been for decades. Let's just agree on that. Trial and error isn't what we signed up for.
If you want to avoid error, go to these guys. Stephen and his team are top notch. Efficient, responsive, aware, competent and fairly priced. Partnership, values and principles of doing business the right way.
I value that. Meritocracy. Won't be going anywhere else anytime soon. -
After a recent ice storm and Austin's latest surprise reversion to 1890's living, I had enough. I bought a 7500 AMP generator. I needed a 50A inlet on the side of the house for said generator. Austin Electrical Services quoted me for an interlock kit that allows me to disconnect my house from the mains and run it off the generator. They showed up on time, did the work professionally, and briefed me on safe use of the system. They're local, and I recommend them!

We hired Austin's Texas Electrical Services of Austin TECL #29127. One part of this was installing an outdoor outlet, which requires running a conduit. For this they used a flex conduit and to hold the flex conduit outdoor-rated fasteners need to be used. This was clearly not the case, as there is corrosion and rust clearly visible on the fasteners that were used to hold the conduit (see pictures). I'm sure of this because we also had conduit installed by another electrical contractor for another purpose on a similar exterior wall on the other side of the house that has zero corrosion on it. I reached out to them several times over the span of 4 weeks regarding this, and didn't hear back once.
I also specifically remember that the person sent out to do the work was very rude and difficult to work with. This was particularly relevant for hanging a chandelier, since it ended up crooked and he didn't ask for feedback until after he had already taken down his scaffolding, and wasn't willing to put it back up. So to this day we still have a misaligned chandelier.
Cost isn't all that matters. For what this level of quality you're better off either learning to DIY, or paying more to hire a better company if you want everything done right and good customer service.
EDIT:
Now also finding out the metal box isn't grounded and that the outlet used for my install isn't rated for an outdoor install, both of which are against code and a shock hazard, -
They cracked the drywall and will not reimburse for the repair.
I had a new direct line ran for a new outlet to the circuit box. When they were in the attic running the wire down the wall to the circuit box, for some reason they had a issue getting the wire down the wall. Whatever tool they used cracked my drywall directly on the other side of the wire.
It was a pain having the drywall fixed. I had to remove my TV for the dry wall guy, take time off of work, and have the whole wall painted so it would blend in and not look like a patch job.
The owner said he would reimburse me for the bill for the repair. I sent him a copy of what I paid the drywall guy but he has not gotten back to me. It is very hard to contact this company, if you call will find you always get voicemail. I should of known better.
Update 1: The owner texted me to let me know he intends to reimburse me but he has just been to busy. It's been over a week and I have not gotten any refund, so I feel there is dishonesty in this.
Update 2: The owner never reimbursed me. As I suspected, he was lying. I lost quite a bit of money for a relatively simple job. If only I chose another company.
