They do come on time, work hard, and do great cleanup. However foreman Jason was not there with the crew the day they worked at my house. With them briefly in the morning and then left. Legitimate reason, but the job should have been rescheduled since he knew he would not be there. Crew does not speak English, which can cause some communication issues unless you speak Spanish. I had asked Jason to "raise" the tree canopy (have over 50 mature trees in my backyard). It was certainly raised - I stepped away from my vigilant watch for about an hour, and in that short time all limbs were stripped from a large section of trees to about 30-40 feet up. Meaning foliage only left at very top of trees - no low selective horizontal branches were left. All that could be done at that point was for me to make a phone call to Jason and a decision was made to have crew stop trimming. Unfortunately the damage had already been done. When Jason came the next day he strongly defended the work his crew had done; thought it was great and did not seem to care at all what I thought. Customer is not always right with him. If you use them make sure Jason is there to communicate instructions to crew; and stay on your property...don't leave, even for a short while unless you are not at all particular about the end results. I have lived in my home 25 years; once cut tree limbs can't be glued back on (Jason's words, not mine). Point well made.

Had Mike’s come out last summer to lift and trim the oaks by my house, and this saved me from possible roof damage during this storm! I had some branches higher in the trees break, but none fell on the house! They came out this weekend and made quick work removing broken branches at the top of my trees and hauled away smaller branched that made it all the way to the ground. Quick service that left my trees looking great!

I called to schedule an appointment for a bid and was called back right away. The guys were at my house on time, gave me a fair estimate and did an amazing job on my two trees in the front yard. I gave them instructions on what I was looking for and not only did they do the BEST job pruning my trees, there was absolutely no mess left behind. I would highly recommend Mike's Tree Service.

We will recommend this company to any one that asks. They removed this huge tree in our backyard in between two homes and fences. great job, no damage, cleanup spot on, and in only three hours time. We will definately use Mike's tree service again.

I called 3 other tree services to remove 2 dead oaks in front of my house. Two gave me estimates, one never called back. Of the two estimates one never scheduled and the other scheduled a month out. On the scheduled date, no show no call. I called and they rescheduled and again no show but they called at the end of the day to ask to reschedule. I cancelled and called Mike's Tree Service. He scheduled a month out, showed up, did a great job for a reasonable price. I would use Mike's again if needed.

I had two trees in much need of trimming to raise the canopies away from my roof. Jason and his crew did an awesome job for us and they were fast with a quick turnaround. They cleaned up and hauled everything off for less than half what their competitors wanted! Brent’s wanted nearly $300 per tree! Mike’s took care of both my trees for less than that!!!

I wish I had before pictures! I have 2 oaks out front and had not had them trimmed in the almost 4 years since we bought the house. The limbs were hanging to the ground and grass was dead from no sunlight. Mikes team came out same day as planned (we were at work) I actually had forgotten since it was scheduled the month before and we were amazed when we got home! We could see our house! No more branches rubbing against the gutters as well.They just left the bill on the porch. I couldn’t be happier! I recommend them to everyone! They cleaned up and removed all limbs and debris too! It was very inexpensive for the extensive work.

They did a great job removing 7 Italian Cypress trees in my back yard and trimming the Oak in our front yard. Mike's was extremely reasonable and very professional. I will definitely use them again.

We've used these guys for years to take care of the elder elms and oaks around our home. They're always quick to respond with a call, text, and estimate when we need them. And they're equally speedy about getting in and out, whether it's taking down a dead tree or just trimming off a few limbs. As a bonus, they work with my arborist, calling him for his opinion or sharing photos to make sure they aren't doing anything that might harm our precious old shade givers.

Jason was able to come give a very reasonable quote quicker than any other tree trimming company. Him and his team showed up on time and got to work immediately. The trees look great! In addition to the trees looking amazing, his crew cleaned up.....leaves raked and all cuts sprayed, etc. Highly recommend.

Mikes Tree Service was super professional and communicated very well along the way. Any time I emailed I was given a response very quickly. Had a tree pruned and stump ground down. Both were done when scheduled and looked great. Jason was great to work with at Mikes.

Used Mike's Tree Service to remove a mesquite tree that died after the winter storm. Jason responded promptly to my initial text request and handled the scheduling and estimate by text. They showed up on the day promised and did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. The price and service were an excellent value. Would use them again!

10 trees on my lot. Raise the canopy, remove dead limbs, remove mistletoe, check tree condition and health, seal live oak wounds, and remove all trimmings. A team of 4 arrived and completed the work quickly with no problems. A good trim at a great price. Mike's is very busy this time of year, and you pay with check or cash, so plan ahead. We got lucky with a cancellation and got our lot trimmed ahead of schedule. The crew is so fast they will be gone before your neighbors know what's happening. They haul everything away which is very convenient. They know how to use climbing equipment so height is not a problem. Several of the trees on my lot are mature and around 30 feet and higher. No problem for Mike's team. I'm very happy with the work. My lot looks much better front and back.
