Reviews of local pros in Channelview, Texas

Was looking so forward to a great experience with Econocuts. But our lawn never looked finished. The grass would be cut, but that is all. Yesterday, our yard was cut after a heavy rain and there was mud where there was no grass where the lawn mower made ruts everywhere. There was no bagging up the leaves or grass cuttings. I had to go down the street and had them come back three times where they were too lazy to do the job. Grown men should not have to be supervised. When I called in I was told they would pass the information along. We ended up cancelling the service if that is the best they can offer.
Very disappointed. Very sloppy work.

I've used this company since 2001, they are cheap and do a descent job. But they do commercial as well and bring all kinds of weed, Bermuda, etc. seeds in their equipment which eventually destroyed my front yard. So I hired them to re-sod an 12x18 ft section of my yard and remove the Bermuda grass first. Instead they spread soil mix on the Bermuda, then laid half dead sod on top and were gone within 33 min of arriving. I plan to submit a BBB complaint. Stay clear, there are better services out there and I plan to find one.

Unfortunately, they do not use push mowers for low parts of the yard and leave ruts; I've asked that they raise the blade but nothing is done.
The workers do not assess the yards to see if they need cutting and they go from yard to yard and we now have brown spots from other yards that were diseased. If you want cheap - they are; if you want quality, look elsewhere as the communication is not good.

My daughter was driving down p street making a left onto East when she heard something very loud hit her car she pulled over and one of the workers acknowledged what had happened but did not speak English so my daughter found their work truck and calls the office immediately and was told to send pics of damage and a supervisor would come by to talk to her. That never happened so she made a police report
We went back to speak to the workers and phoned the Owner I believe Chris and Chris stated that his machines couldn't have done this and say people will drive around looking for a lawn service when they notice damage on their vehicle. What a disgrace as a small business owner but I have spoke to a few people with the same kinda run ins with this company.

These guys are very professional and clean up after themselves.

Did a good job. Seemed knowledgeable about how to trim trees properly.

Great guy great price and had the tree cut down in an hour and came the next day and grinder my stump and roots, highly recommend

After a bad storm a tree had fallen onto my house. They came out that day to take a look and give me a quote. The next day the tree was gone. I highly recommend this company.

I can highly recommend this company that did a very professional job on my tree removal in a timely manner. They worked hard to get the job done.

Best service ever a reasonable price! Elias is very proficient, and observed safety protocol. I highly recommend his company for tree trimming and pruning.

Professional and FAST!!! I called concerning my two palm trees in the back yard. One of the brothers came the same day and told me one of the trees was dead. The team came the next day and cut one down and trimmed the other. They cleaned up and even washed the neighbor’s car that got some dust on it. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree service.

Thank you Mr. Elias for sending over Jorge. He and his men did an amazing job!!! Excellent work ethic!!! The price was also the best and I had called so many companies. You will not regret it!

Absolutely recommend! Our large tree in the backyard died as a result of the 2021 TX Freeze. I called and Mr. Elliott he came by and quoted us the best price (after he finished the job I noticed his name is actually Elias, but he was very sweet and never corrected me, lol)! Told me they would be here at 7:30 or 8 am. They showed up at 7:45am and got straight to work. I had 3 trees total I wanted taken down and by 1:40pm it was cleaned up and finished! I am very happy with this business!

I had my palm trees trimmed in the back yard and tree trimmed in the front yard. Scheduling was prompt (for estimate and returning to actually do the work). Price was very competitive compared to others.

Dependable, knowledgeable, honest.
