Jason and his coworker were amazing!! I called when my other movers canceled and they were there to help me within 2 hours and got everything done in one trip - I could not be happier with them!! So helpful, funny and carful with my mom’s stuff - thank you!!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better moving day experience! The movers were great. Very professional, friendly, and worked very efficiently. We had booked for 5 hours and they actually got us loaded and unloaded at our new location in just a little over 3 hours. No complaints whatsoever and would highly recommend!

Not only did it take 3 hours to do what myself (and they didn’t even get everything), a not particularly strong female and my 120lb son did in in 2.. but all my bins are now broken (who puts the heaviest bins on the top of a 6 bin stack.. with half the truck still empty?), one of my bookshelves was completely destroyed, and I was charged 3x the quoted rate for the additional time. I will be calling Hire-a-Helper for, at the very least, a partial refund.

R C & Trevor both moved my 1 bedroom apartment upstairs and I have to say those are the 2 most hardest workers. Thanks for moving my stuff!

I have never used a moving company before. Everyone I know (including myself) are up in age now and didn't want to rely on anyone to help me with it. So I made an adult decision to look for a moving company to do it all for me. I actually found this company on craigslist so I was kind of leary, so I searched for them on facebook and then over to their website. They had plenty of good reviews and now after my experience with them I can see why. I booked my reservation with them in November because I am a planner and wanted to be sure to secure my spot for February 1st. Toree Davis checked in with me a week before to just to confirm their services which really gave me peace of mind. Jason and his team were very efficient, prompt, dependable, knowledgeable, amiable and fast. I only have a one bedroom apt and the cost was well worth it. All of my furniture and belongings made it to my new place with no issues. I love the way they kept in contact with me throughout the whole process with emails, texts and phone calls. Communication is EVERYTHING! I strongly recommend using this company for your moving needs as I will definitely use them in the future. Way to go Davis Moving!

Alyssa does such an AMAZING JOB!!!! I always bring my dogs to the park 3 times a week and when I ran out of bags and looked over at the doggie station, I saw Alyssa putting more bags and I was just amazed because she has such a positive attitude and I think she’s honestly one of the hardest workers that I’ve seen!! I need to schedule a house cleaning with her solely based on her schedule availability, and work ethic. I’m not the only one observing the companies/employees when they all come out, I saw that she exhibits integrity and honesty in her work and I wanted the company to know how lucky they are to have her as an employee!!

Had a two man crew arrive on time and help unload our truck. Both the gentleman were polite and helpful. Took way less time than I expected because of their hard work! Would recommend if you’re looking for good quality moving help!

Davis Moving and Cleaning is, by far, the best small moving company I have used over 30 years of occasional moves in the Austin area.
Tore Davis is the owner and is professional, responsive and accommodating. He has great organizational skills and a is a pleasure to work with. My moving team consisted of Team Leader Jason and Assistant Marlin.
Jason and Marlin are personable and professional as well as very efficient and thorough. Their customer service is exemplary -- Jason even went the "extra mile" 5 days after the final segment of the move!
My move was a logistically complicated one involving 4 different locations and 2 different dates. They even had to hand-carry a massive sofa up 4 flights of stairs in a residential building because the freight elevator was not large enough - and did so with grace and aplomb! And despite after-hours key fob mishaps and security gate malfunctions, and even though the move went well past the anticipated time frame, they maintained that aplomb and professionalism. I can't say enough good about this team!
All in all, can't say enough good about this company. They did a lot to render an inherently unpleasant experience (moving, ugh), tolerable. Highly, highly recommend.

May is here and these guys came back and did not fail... They were outstanding in moving us into our new home. HIGHLY recommend Mr. Jason and his crew.

Absolutely was impressed with the workmanship, accountability & communication of these men. Very friendly service and although there was some damage to my exterior, they were quick to schedule the repair. I will be using them again! Thanks guys!

Great experience for sure. They easily removed our old heavy mattress and set up our new one in less than an hour. Explained everything to us; they were very professional and I would gladly use them again for moving.

They were awesome and so helpful , Joe , Jason, Keke, Quinten, Dre the whole team went above and beyond. Took great care of our belongings, asked many questions where we wanted stuff. I highly recommend them.

Guys if you're planning a move, Davis Moving & cleaning are your go to guys. Adam and Dominic did outstanding work. I really appreciate the delicate work they performed in this very hot summer heat, they were kind and professional and most importantly affordable.

Our move from SA was bittersweet, but the Davis company made it a brreze nontheless. HIGHLY recommend them for communicative, punctual, and professional help. They put us at ease in getting our valuables prepped for a long haul to California. Very impressed!

The guys were able to overcome a few obstacles with my furniture made from overseas. They were very professional and took good care of furniture. Only problem I had with the company was the estimate was not close. There were additional costs that were not explained once I saw the bill. In fact, it was almost 300 more than expected. Also, there were keys missing to my china cabinets once the movers left??
