Tree reviews in Colleyville, Texas

What a great company! Usually the review I’m about to leave would be for some white glove car service, or tech company but you get that level of service with a tree service! I’ve used between 7-8 different tree companies in the last 13 years and Richard’s Arbortech Tree Service is a cut above all else.
Richard, one of co owners, is a great guy and tells you everything up front. Next the crew of 7-8 guys came out. They are careful, quick, accurate, professional, funny and clean. When you see these guys work together you can tell this is not your usually tree service that hire day laborers. Richards crew has been together for years and it shows. They know what to do- as one cuts the other is positioning the branch, another is making sure it’s guided right, and another is there to pull it out if the way. They work like a fine tuned clock- precision work. They even cleaned up a mess up from previous tree service company. We didn’t even talk about it but one their lead workers, Tyler, took it upon himself to trim the projecting branch so the tree looked nice. Again I didn’t ask for it, but these guys are professionals and care about what the final product looks like. Tyler also stump grinned a stump that was difficult. It was near a fence, brick wall and electrical write. I thought most of the stump would be visible after they were done because of it’s tough location. No, not with Arbortech! Tyler was like a surgeon- precise and careful- ultimately got the entire stump more that 3 feet in diameter- to the point that you don’t even know the tree was there.
I’m surprised how well these guys work together. They joke with each other quite a bit and enjoy their job. This makes a difference because they all work well together. They clean up really well too- even cleaning the area in the street that a little bits had fallen. Most tree services even lawn companies leave stuff on the street. Again not Arbortech, they cleaned up everything on their own. Also part of what makes this crew and company above all else is that all their works do their job like if that was their own property. No one was telling them - hey do this or do that- they just did it on their own. From start to finish the crew knew how to do everything without needing a foreman or company owner on their backs. Amazing tree service. After having dealt with more than 7 companies in my life I can truly say I highly recommend Richard’s Arbortech Tree Service!

We've used Arbor Tech 3 - 4 times for services.
This time a sprinkler head was broken during process of trimming our trees and my husband reached out to them.
He received a condescending talking down to by them via email on how easy it is to replace and how cheap the part is, with basic instructions for my husband to do it.
We won't be using this company again

I am very satisfied with the service provided by this business the three times I have used them. But be sure you contact the company owned by Robert Shoemaker! I previously hired an outfit with a very similar name and they did not complete the work I paid for. Robert called me back on a Sunday after I left a message when a huge tree limb fell and damaged a truck in the driveway. The crew was out the next day to take down the diseased tree. Then they came back and took down three more weak trees and trimmed the rest. Later they came to another property to shred piles of limbs and grind down stumps. They did a great job!

Second time I have used Arbortech and will continue to use them. The crew matched my complicated instructions and wishes perfectly. They carefully moved potted plants and decor out of the way. I also appreciate the extra effort in the clean up.

These guys are top notch. Everyone has a job and they’re really good at it. Also, they cut my crepe Myrtle’s the correct way. They were very professional and we are very happy with the work they did.

Awesome job by Jacob & the team. They were quick & very professional. Everyone knew what they were doing, clean up was fast and thorough. Would DEFINITELY recommend and use them again. Many thanks guys for a job well done!

The Arbortech crew did a great job. Jaekob Taylor was very professional and great to work with before, during and after job was completed. I will be using them the next time I need tree service.

Makayla responded quickly to my voice mail regarding having a tree removed from my front yard. She came to my home that afternoon and gave my husband and me a fair quote for removing the tree and grinding the stump and we hired Arbor-Tech on the spot. The Arbor-Tech crew arrived on time and promptly went to work. It was amazing to watch the crew work, they are a real team and it showed. They did a great job of removing our tree and grinding the stump. They were nice and courteous and very respectful of our property.
I wholeheartedly will recommend Arbor-Tech Tree Service to anyone who needs this kind of service.

Just had Jacob and his team come out to our Southlake house. Amazing experience and great price.

They cut 4 oaks for us and took out a magnolia grinded to the stump. I called on a Saturday morning at 930 and by 10, Jacob was at the house giving me a quote. By 1030, the entire crew was here working. It took them about 3 hours to do it all and they kept asking if I was satisfied. I would recommend this service and company to anyone. Very honest and efficient.

ArborTech exceeded expectations and at a great price! We have a forest in our backyard and have spent lots trying to manage it. ArborTech showed up with ~12 guys this morning and they had 3 days worth of work done in 3 hours. They left our yard spotless and addressed every branch that I wanted trimmed. Best of all, this crew brought so much joy to the project. It was impressive to see them supporting each other and tackling the project with a smile. Thanks to Jaekob and his team for a job well done. We will be back!

Huge thank you to Jacob and the team at Arbortech Tree Service for an outstanding job! They expertly trimmed five trees and removed another, leaving everything looking clean, healthy, and professionally done. 🌳✂️

From start to finish, Jacob was courteous, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did a thorough cleanup afterward — you wouldn’t even know how much work had been done! 💪🧹

Best of all, the price was very fair for the quality of work provided. If you need tree trimming or removal done right, I highly recommend Arbortech Tree Service. I will absolutely use them agai

Jacob and Sean were great start to finish. Not pushy at all. Laid out of reasonable options. Managed the crew throughout the job. Ensured a great clean up of debris and did an awesome walk through at the end to ensure I was happy with the job. Also very reasonably priced compared to previous companies I used to work. Highly recommend you give them a call.

Just from seeing ArborTech’s trucks in and around our neighborhood, I gave them a call about trimming our four huge live oaks. These four trees are nearing fifty years old and have spread to the point where some significant trimming had to be done.

After a brief inspection, I was given a price and an approximate date for the job. I immediately said, “yes,” let’s do it!

On the scheduled date, ArborTech arrived as expected and went straight to work. It was obvious from the start that these people really knew what they were doing! Some two and a half hours later, all four trees were perfectly trimmed and every bit of the “mess” was cleaned up.

We are completely delighted with the work Arbor Tech did for us … highly recommended.

This company did an excellent job at my house in Southlake. We have a heavily wooded lot and so it was a challenge to get some of these dead branches down. This crew was 40 feet up in a tree to get these branches at times. They cleared all of the debris and all the men were friendly. Sean was exceptional in detecting other tree issues we had. We had some trees that had fungus that we had no idea that it was there. I would definitely recommend this company and their price was lower than other quotes that we had gotten. Use Arbortech Tree Service. You will be very happy with their work!

Good job, reasonable, will continue using them for tree trimming on other trees

Always 5 stars with Southwest. I just used their services again to have some light trimming done and they came and went without a trace, other than the work that needed to be done.

Exceptional customer care from start to finish! My Salesman, Richard walked me through the job to a T, the crews showed up on time, all very professional, worked non stop until the job was complete to my satisfaction, and cleaned everything up back to new before they left.

In less than an hour their excellent crew took down a 30 foot magnolia including the stump that was infringing on my foundation and a dead bradford pear limb. They were so respectful and conscientious, every twig, leaf and sawing debris was cleaned up. I give them my highest recommendation.

Let me start by saying I am quite particular about my trees and lawn. I do all my own matenance, so hiring a service company is nerve racking. Will they do a good job? Will they take care not to damage my stuff? Will they be fair? With SWTS, I can definitively say YES to all. From my first phone call to the office, to the free estimate, to the completed service, I am more than happy. The job entailed everything from light prooning, to large tree removal, to stump grinding, to cleanup. EXCELLENT across the board. I'm certain I will need more tree work in the future, and I'm certain of who I will call. Thanks, SWTS. You did what you said you would do, and put my mind at ease.

Southwest Tree Service had several workers come take care of a large limb that fell into our yard from a tree behind our house. They were friendly, quick and did a great job at a competitive price.

Called Southwest Tree Service in Colleyville about a tree that has started to lean. We need it straightened and staked. They said one of their people would call the next day to to schedule a visit to look at it and provide a quote. A week went by without a call. I checked back thinking maybe they had lost my number, but they said no, they had just decided they couldn't help us. So they let a week go by without bothering to let us know they weren't coming, meanwhile this tree leans a little more every day.
