House Cleaning reviews in Corpus Christi, Texas

I hired this company with an agreed upon hourly rate. Of the two maids that were sent to clean one spent copious amounts of time in her phone and the other was completely clueless on how to clean. They left all the the surfaces of my house either untouched or covered in an oily, greasy substance. I asked one of the girls several times to dust the base boards,
blinds or literally anything that resembles cleaning since I was paying by the hour. She refused to take any directions and paved back and forth through out the house not really doing anything. She mopped unswept floors 3 times, just pushing the pet hair and the dirt around. Followed by her spilling the dirty mop water all over my area rugs and then not telling me until i stepped on them and discovered it myself.
The owner of the company was unapologetic about the entire event and is harassing and threatening me late in the evenings because I do not think it's fair to have to pay full price for a job that was not completed. I have attached photos of the condition of things after they had left.

Im not normally one to leave reviews, but this was especially bad. I was quoted $60/hour upon booking my appointment and ended up paying $224.25. They sent out two people to clean, so I really thought it’d be pretty quick. Especially considering that I told them not to worry about a whole bedroom and the laundry room. So they cleaned my sons room, guest bath, living room, kitchen, and master bed & bath.

To start, they took down my appointment for the wrong time & then they were 40 minutes late to the time slot they scheduled. One girl spent a ridiculous amount of time organizing my 2 year old’s books by size when he just throws them on the floor every day anyway. And the other went out for about 5 smoke breaks in a two hour time frame… The kitchen counters had dirt and crumbs remaining, dust all around our main air vent, dog hair still on the floor, dirty bedroom mirror, and the outside of the microwave hadn’t been wiped down. None of these things are major issues, but altogether make the total cost seem a bit high.

I sent an email to ask about the price breakdown and explain my issues, but it was never answered.

We have been using Camilles Cleaning Angels for years. The ladies always do a great job for us even with our pack of large dogs. Always courteous and professional and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!

I use Camille’s for my Airbnb & they’re extremely professional and always prompt with responding to messages. Their prices are pretty competitive, as I’ve been operating Airbnb’s for 5 years both in Corpus Christi & San Antonio. The ladies are a treat to deal with from the cleaning crews to the administrative people. Highly recommend Camille’s to use for private home use, as I did when I lived in corpus as well or for repeated use such as an Airbnb. Highly dependable and reliable and they do a fantastic and thorough cleaning job.

Terrible experience. Used these people for years. They are very Slap-dash in their cleaning. Finally had enough. Too expensive for quality of service. Management doesn’t really care. When we found that they had stolen a lot of personal expensive items and the owner denied it, we let them go. Turned the matter over to the police.

Quick response, scheduled next day. Team of 3 came and did a spring cleaning. Very impressed. We even did a walk thru to ensure we were satisfied. We definitely are. Professional and trustworthy.

Its been my experience with Camille's Cleaning Angels that they are very professional. I have seen them attack some large scale construction clean-ups with excellent results. Easy to work with. I would also recommend them for smaller scale jobs.

I was moving into a new house, it was completely empty so it should have been a very easy house to clean. We hired Camille's Angels to come clean. They sent over 4 ladies, who were all very nice. They told me it would take 4 hours, its a 1750 sq/ft house. I left and came back 4 hours later and they were finishing up cleaning. We ended up paying $500, they asked if there was anything else we wanted them to do, but I needed to start moving my stuff in so I said no without really taking a good look around. Once I really started looking around it was one thing after another they missed. With 4 people there for 4 hours they should have run out of stuff to do after 2 hours and been looking for things to clean. Camille's Angels idea of cleaning is to mop with lemon scented floor cleaner so it smells clean when you get back. The refrigerator was filthy, all the kitchen cabinet knobs felts like they had grease on them, as well did the rod to open and close the blinds. The carpets had spots with dried mud on them that a vacuum wouldn't get up but you could easily break up with your fingers and then vacuum up. The showers didn't look like they cleaned them at all. The mopping job they did wasn't really very good either. I would have been satisfied with that job for $100 not $500!. Anyway the house I moved out of I obviously didn't hire Camillles Angels again. I hired Sparkling City Cleaners or something like that. Its was for an 860sq/ft apt. The owner on the phone told me it would cost $100. They sent two much younger women than the Camilles Angles over and they did a really good job, but then they told me the bill was $200. And they could not get a hold of their boss on the phone to confirm she told me $100. I ended up paying $150, however they did a much better job, and I believe it was an honest miscommuincation. The bottom line is Camille's Angels just don't want to get dirty when they clean. They do a real superficial job of cleaning and are way over priced. Nice old ladies, but hire some younger ones that do a better job.

We hired Camille’s to clean an empty house, deep clean, from top to bottom… Four hours worth of work and $350 later, they dusted nothing and haven’t answered when I called to complain.

Great and affordable service, always on time and my house is always left refreshed!

NPI and owner Barbara are doing a great job of cleaning. She is very attentive, answers text and phone calls in a timely manner! She has been very helpful in extra things I needed done.

I am so happy with NPI Cleaning! She handles the cleanings for my Short Term Rental there on the island and I have been very happy with her work. Barbara is great to communicate with and has a very good understanding of how an STR needs to be cleaned. She has been so reliable for the more than 6 months I have been using NPI. As someone who does not live full time in the area, it is critical to have someone who you can trust to clean the home to your standards. I highly recommend to anyone who needs an STR cleaned or even there own home.
