Landscaping reviews in Corpus Christi, Texas

I came here to get a pecan tree for my grandmother's service. It's a sensitive time for my family and I while going the grieving process and Karen was a ray of sunshine through this dark time. I couldn't recommend a better garden center/nursery. Thank you so much Karen, you are the best! (:

Beautiful selection and great prices...but do your own homework. My wife and I purchased three palms and a couple of cacti over the past week - and they are all beautiful and healthy. The only issue we had with Turner's is an almost total lack of assistance in the main tree and plant areas.
As we are relatively new to Corpus, we had several questions about palm tree varieties, to include growth potential, cold-weather hardiness, etc. Some trees have detailed information cards attached (which were great) and others don't.
Yesterday afternoon I asked a gentleman if there was some kind of guidebook available to help us choose a palm tree. He quipped rather snarkily "You know, you can just Google it, right?" Not a cool answer. We wanted professional advice from a local expert, not to be dismissed as if we were a bother.
We still asked a few questions, and he gave a few short answers. He finally told us "I'm actually on the phone right now, so..." and proceeded to walk away.
We did our best and selected a few items. Again, we're very happy with the products and prices. In addition, the ladies at the front counter are always courteous, friendly, and professional.
Our overall experience was good; our visits were only marred by a rude employee who had little interest in helping. Employees should do their best to understand 1) not everyone is familiar with the products, and 2) not everyone wants to conduct research while standing in the nursery.
We will be back, but at least one employee should hone his customer service skills in the interim. -
Plant 🪴 heaven , the staff is very very knowledgeable on plants and they help you pick out the right one for you . Love this place!

Fabulous selection of plants that will thrive in hot, humid South Texas - with knowledgeable staff members who are willing to help with selections. One of our favorite hangouts!

I love this nursery. A large variety and absolutely the most helpful pleasant staff ever.
Abby is amazing. She was super helpful when I called and she is so energetic. I will definitely ask for her anytime I need something or have questions. -
This place is great. So many plants, so much diversity. A bunch of helpful staff around to answer questions and hold purchases.
I'm mad I have lived here this long and had never been to Turner's. -

Great folks, advice and selection.
Our multiple occasion go to nursery -
Upside: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good selection, easy to get to / convenient location.
Downside: None really, prices slightly higher than bigger chain stores, but the staff are more informative.
Comments: Would go here again and would recommend. -

I came in for a visit on a Saturday morning. I knew exactly what I wanted. I asked the person at the front desk if they had it, she confirmed they did. I asked for directions and she promptly asked one of the other people there to take me to it. As my eyesight is failing, it would’ve taken me a long time to have found these plants, but I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I really appreciate their help. They have a huge variety of items and plants and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Wow! What a beautiful space with an abundant selection of anything you could imagine. The staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable, I got the pleasure of great advice, deliberation about my garden space, and what would do best by Julia. I can’t wait to come back for spring gardening!

Large plant selection. Friendly staff. They give military discount. Very good selection of plant chemicals such as fertilizers compared to other local nurseries. They have more options in pot sizes so I can afford the plants I want- a lot of them.

I love this place for a lot of reasons but this one prompted me to write a review. I purchased an 35 gallon oak tree from Chris, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. About a week after planting my tree, it was in shock. I called Chris back to see if I did anything wrong of if he could help me over the phone. What happened next blew me away. Chris asked where the tree was and offered to come over to the look at the tree after he got off work. I even offered to pay him but he refused. He came to look at the tree on his own time and figured out the problem. I'm so happy that people like Chris exist. Turner's is lucky to have someone like Chris and because of him, I will be a lifelong customer. Thanks Chris.
