Good place to buy lawn dirt in bulk. Price for the product and delivery was reasonable. I'd do it again.

If your serious about conservation this store is part of the landfills effort to make product with waste. Great assortment of mulch, plants, plant food, gravel, soils, etc

Gardenville offers a large selection of items and a very friendly staff that will assist you making the right choice. Creedmore is a bit of a haul, but it is worth it.

I always held this place in high esteem, until we bought soil for our garden. After all the work to add soil to a large garden, we have had terrible problems with nut grass from the soil, and it has ruined the garden. Gardenville even sent new soil, but once the nutgrass is established, it is very ,very hard to get rid of. I'll never return. Have been told by landscape pros that the soil must cook long enough to rid it of the dreaded nutsedge .

I bought one cubic yard of "lawn and garden" soil which was recommended by the staff for a raised garden bed. Seems to have a lot of sand in it and drainage issues after a heavy rain... I'm afraid to plant in it. I also found lots of little pieces of plastic and glass in it. Not happy with that. Won't be buying here again.

Placed on order 3 days in advance. It was supposed to be delivered today from 7am-noon. It never made it. I called at 12:30. Told it’d be a few more hours and they’d call me before they left. They never called. I called back 4 hours later. They said they’d check on it and call me back. I never received a call. I called back again and said they would check on it and call me right back. Once again they never called me and now they are closed. Is my solid coming today who knows? I need it and this is extremely disappointing. They said they’d refund the delivery fee which I appreciate, but I’m not sure if I’ll ever get the soil at this rate. I took an entire day off for nothing. Thanks for wasting my time. Hire more staff or don’t take orders you can’t fill.

If you just need a yard or two of any type of soil or road base this is the place to go price are affordable and if you need more than a couple of yards they also deliver for a fee. Price fluctuate depending on the go rates but still affordable.

Superb prices on all the bulk and pre-bagged soils/fertilizers, gravel/small stone and mulch your garden could ever want or need. Organic too! With absolutely friendly service as well, the cliche stands: why go anywhere else?

You come to garden villa for the prices. They are usually polite and straightforward. The one negative I have is with the girl in the front. Initially she was courteous and friendly. The couple of times she has been there she is rude. Basically gets mad if you don’t follow the the signs. I understand that signs are there but mistakes happen. The rest of the crew are good.

You could get dirt, sand, gavel, and plants in a lot of places but these people have great advice to offer, can work with you to figure out unusual situations, and have pretty good prices. If your alternative is one of the big hardware stores you will definitely do better here.

When the gravel I wanted was too much for the capacity of my trailer they were willing to let me buy the full amount at one time but pick it up in parts over two days. They loaded it just the way I asked.
