Electrical reviews in Cypress, Texas

Great experience using JR Electrical Services! JR is knowledgeable, friendly, and fairly priced. He replaced several disk lights four of which were 20 ft high in a two story family room. We will definitely use JR in the future!

JR just finished a variety of fixes and upgrades on our home electrical. Good communication, scheduling, and prompt arrival. He was able to track down an unknown electrical fault, reconnect and verify. He also added plugs, replaced a switch, and added a light. Excellent work, efficient, attention to detail, friendly open communication throughout, and a reasonable price that matched his quote. Highly recommend. Will be using him again for future upgrades.

JR is fantastic, came out to install some soffit lights and do a few upgrades in the house. Extremely professional and quick service! He came out the next day to hook us up!
Highly recommend for any electrical work.

Got my ring floodlight camera installed in the back yard. Communication and service was A plus! Would use this company again for future services

Highly recommend. Had a 14-50 outlet installed in garage for my EV car. After a few communication, jr came over and hooked it up. Fast and easy. Gave me fair price and advice on electrical projects. Very professional and friendly. I will use jr services again in future.

JR and his team are always great to work with! He's communicative, friendly, knowledgeable, has fair pricing and very reliable. He's the first person we call if we need electrical work done. Highly recommend.

JR Electrical Services, LLC came out to our home back on 1/20/2025 (after they had worked a full day preparing for the snow storm that was going to hit the next day 1/21/2025), and absolutely saved us (and our kids) by installing a generator connection, that we had called 10 other electricians to see if they would come, and they all told us they were too busy/couldnt get to us same day, or tried to charge us 300-400% markup of regular cost (which was already expensive) to come before the storm. When we spoke to JR electrical Services, they told us they could do it as their last job of the day if we were okay with them coming after 5pm (which we absolutely were), then quoted us a fair price for the work, and explained to my husband in detail what they would do (for the generator plug install & the installation of a generator interlock switch into our main breaker box) Not only did they come to our house in the late afternoon hours (after spending all day working), but they took their time, paid great attention to detail, and neatly installed the generator plug (70 feet from the breaker box, right where we needed it). They then went above and beyond by taking the time to show us how to use the new generator plug & interlock switch, and even gave us a quote (as we requested) for future electrical work we needed done (and the price for that was also fair). We will absolutely hire JR Electrical Services, LLC again, and will ONLY refer them to our neighbors, friends, and family. Their high quality work speaks for itself, but even more than that, their “above and beyond” customer service standards are very apparent for any of their customers to see (when comparing them to other electric companies who have come to bid/quote electrical work/jobs). We were more than impressed by JR Electrical Services, LLC, and will be forever grateful that they went above and beyond for our family, the night before the winter snow storm hit us, so that we would have peace of mind in knowing we would not again be without power if the snowstorm knocked it out. That peace of mind was priceless. Hire these guys. You won’t be disappointed.

JR was great. He was able to come out that day and fix our breaker issue. He assessed the issue, tested the breakers, fixed the ones that were bad, and got our power restored to the part of the house that was impacted. And, got it all done quickly and cleanly. Very honest and straightforward explanation of the problem and our options for solutions. We’ll be using his services again in the future for the other electrical work we need done.

We used JR Electrical Services to switch out a breaker, add extra lights to our porch and outlets to our garage, upgraded our under cabinet lights, adjust a chandelier, and added recessed lighting in our bathroom. All turned out great ! I would definitely call them again for any electrical needs. They are very knowledgeable, prompt, and great at what they do!

Fast and friendly service. Needed to find out why the lights weren’t working in a house we were selling and he came out same day within an hour of our call! Thanks!

Beautiful work. Great communication. Friendly service. I got an interlock kit and inlet install. Diego even helped me with my generator. I would definitely recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

JR Electrical Services did stellar work for us. My husband and I worked directly with the owner to get a quote to replace underground service lines (about 120 ft) from our meter to CenterPoint pedestal. Once awarded the work, JR explained everything that would take place and provided copies of licenses/insurance. It was a massive job that was handled very professionally and communication was great throughout the process. They even worked with CenterPoint as they were responsible for turning power off and on as needed for the project completion. We are very pleased with JR Electrical Services and plan to use them again the future.

Called JR Electrical, they came out the next day, with a very reasonable quote. Scheduled them for the work right away, they came out and did an amazing job! Highly recommend and are my go to guys in North Houston!

Stayed in communication, on time for the repair, fixed at a reasonable cost. All with friendly service. Diego did a fantastic job and explained everything.
I highly recommend Jr Electric Services.

Excellent service provided and quote was honored. Very nice Family owned business that you won’t regret supporting. The owner explained everything and provided options for a quick repair. I highly recommend JR Electrical Services for all your electrical needs.

Great service at a great price. Was very responsive with my quote and service. Very knowledgeable and professional and quick! Even came back after the work was done to do a load test on my generator. Will definitely use JR Electrical again.

Same-day service with wiring in the cook top to junkbox. Very efficient job! Support our local small business!

Awesome service and communication. We lost power due to a break in the buried line and I fully expected it would be a couple days before JR could schedule me for the repair, but he blew me away by shuffling things around to get the repair done and have us back up and running same day (at an incredibly reasonable rate, I might add). I will absolutely be calling JR for all my electric work moving forward, and strongly recommend you do the same.

They were quick to respond to all my questions even before I booked service.
Quick turn-around, they were available to install within 2 days.
They did quality work, and made sure I was aware of what was going on before they did anything.

Also I'm the guy that likes to stand out there and watch them work to try and learn a little bit. They had no problem with me being in their way.

Will hire again for any future electrical needs.

JR was very professional and adaptive for installing my inverter and bypass.

I’m so glad I found this company! Came out same day, quick and efficient! Will definitely use him again. Took out a chandelier and placed in recessed light.
