Thomas and crew did a great job on my roof. I appreciate all they did!

Kyle knocked on my door and convinced me to file an insurance claim for my roof. He said that he found damage from a storm that was a month earlier. Insurance denied it as it was only $300 in damage. He made me believe that it was the whole roof. It didn't cost him anything to take a hit for filing an insurance claim, but it did cost me. While I was discussing repair options with him he dropped off the face of the earth.....since he was not getting the payday that he was expecting. Very shady throughout the whole thing.

We have used Northstar Construction for remodeling, roofing, rebuilding a chimney, and many other projects. The work is always perfect. The attention to detail, the quality of the work, and the quality of the sub- contractors is excellent. The work areas are kept clean and neat, and the work is done with as little disruption of lives and routines as possible. Thomas Hammel, the owner, is wonderful to work with and is a perfectionist.

I all can say about Thomas and his crew is there are AWESOME. They install our back yard patio cove and kitchen, Thomas helped design the project to fit our want’s and budget. Me and my wife enjoy sitting out every evening after work to wind down after a long day at work nothing better than to spend time with my love and best friend. Thomas thank you so much you’re the best.

NorthStar Construction (Thomas Hammel) did a super job on my $15,000 reconstruction project to repair damage under an insurance claim. Thomas was one of 4 contractors considered for the project. Thomas was selected based on his professionalism and resourcefulness during the job walk. He really stood out as “a notch or two above” with regard to general knowledge and specific ideas related to this particular project. He then successfully negotiated price with the insurance company. The project consisted of repairs to a Primary Bedroom Closet and all new wood flooring (water-proof laminate) on the entire second floor and two stairways down to the first floor. The quality was impeccable on all the work. He handled all the furniture very carefully (no damage to furniture or floor) and returned it to its original position. I have never seen flooring done this well! He was an excellent communicator throughout the project, keeping me informed on a daily basis (except weekends). Schedule was never a problem – he completed the work in a timely manner along the lines of his original time commitments. Oh, and he also did an excellent job covering furnishings with plastic to prevent construction dust issues. NorthStar was a Top-Shelf residential contractor in every regard on my project! Thank you, Thomas!

Norsthstar Construction build our outdoor cover patio with kitchen, bar and restroom. Thomas always kept us informed on the progress was professional and on time. We are looking forward to the next project with Norsthstar Construction. Will definitely refer to all my friends and family.

Not paying 450k for a 2k sqft home.... on a 8k sqft lot. and then have to pay 10 for the lot because its what ever... BULLSH!T.

This place treated my friends very poorly. They build a nice home but I would be very cautious about signing a contract with them.
