I hardly recognized my backyard when they were finished. Almost like i went from suburban Katy to a 19th century villa. This group does an amazing job, flexible prices and scheduling, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

John and his brother are very professional. I needed to clear my backyard because it was a complete jungle. They made my back yard be more enjoyable. For sure will do more business with them. 5 stars isn't enough.

I’m so excited to have been referred to these guys! I seen seen my neighbor get his landscape upgraded and I’ll tell ya what!! That was one fine job they did. Went from looking plain to a peace of art. #eyecandy for sure. Sorry for the long review but y’all really make Mother Nature look pretty.

I did not hear from him for a week until I nudged him, then he just said “sorry we have a minimum”. Apparently John from Palos Landscaping did not think I had the money for a job over 1,000. They advertise in Deer Park pages but then claim it is too far and have to charge for the trip.
I went with Honest Green Landscaping LLC Instead.

I wouldn’t recommend using Palos Landscaping. The communication with John was horrible and we ended up paying for items that they didn’t fulfill on their bid (which we found out later). One of the items was the drainage system they were supposed to put down along with the pavers, which he told us they did. We didn’t realize they hadn’t done that when they laid the pavers down. We’re trustworthy and believe people do what they say they’re going to do, especially when it’s a business owner and they put all the information in a bid. Well, we found out real fast after the first heavy rain. Water was on-top of our pavers and pushing over into our back patio slab which connects to our back door. I sent John pictures and a video right away. He said he would come by. We had some else come out to look at it and he confirmed there was not a drainage system installed. We called and texted John several times after that. Either there was an excuse he couldn’t come by or he completely ignored us and didn’t respond at all. We have made several attempts for him to correct the issue. We didn’t even ask for our money back, we just wanted him to complete the project that we paid for. This past week (4 months later) I attempted to contact him a few more times before posting this review; however, no response (what a surprise). He has no respect, I guess he doesn’t care about making it right because he already got paid. So now we’re going to have to get someone else to come fix it so our house doesn’t flood the next time a tropical storm/hurricane or major downpour happens. This is really unfair. Very unprofessional company and very frustrating to deal with…..

Extremely pleased at the work John and his crew did removing 2 large trees and grinding 4 stumps. They are very responsive, polite and above and beyond to make sure the job is correct. On time, tidy - can’t ask for more. Very happy with their work and will use them in the future!

I had Palos weed and mulch my horribly overgrown backyard beds a few months ago. It wasn't a big job, but he was very prompt in coming over and giving me an estimate and then doing the job a few days later. Beds looked fabulous when he was done - much better than I could have done.

Updated Review: At first, Palo is very responsive and it seemed that he followed through on plans. The first red flag was when they promised to consult with me on the types of plants that we would use. I expressed that I wanted something simple and low maintenance for a small flower bed and that $1,000 with of plants seemed exorbitant. He promised that we will discuss the plants that will be used. Instead, he decided to take it upon himself to choose all the plants which cost probably less than $500. Ok fine, it's been done, moving on. Secondly, I've installed an outlet cover for the front porch to keep it closed and away from the elements. For weeks, Palo has promised to move the the transformer that he installed on the front porch leaving the outlet wide open. Not to mention it's a complete eye sore. The final icing on the proverbial cake was seeing him on my cameras taking photos of my yard. So he would have time to go on my property without my consent, take his photos and then forget to move the transformer as promised. What a class act. Save yourself the long term headache and stay away from this crook.

Furthermore, the crew is a bit creepy and rude. My back door is closed and I was busy tending to the garden. One guy decided it’s appropriate to let himself through the backyard and wandering around. When I asked his can I help him he said nothing. Then proceeded to give me his personal card. Clearly I was busy, but to him it was social hour. Moments later, another crew member rang the front doorbell and rather rudely asked if the same creep that wondered into my backyard could use the restroom. I’ve worked with many contractors bc we’re undergoing a full renovation and I must say never have I felt so uncomfortable in my own house.

This construction company is not professional. Jonathan gave us a quote from a photo from the company’s social media page and tried to used different ( cheaper) materials from the photo on our property. The job he agreed to do was a gift for my wife. He assured us the job would be completed before my wife’s party, however is was not complete. Three weeks after the projected project completion date and the job is still not complete. Jonathan is not to be trusted. Please don’t waste your time and money with this company.

I am very disappointed. He did not fulfill his promise by keeping his word. So sad when you give a company many chances hoping that they will keep their end of the agreement and they just ignore the importance of good customer service. After the job was done but my yard still needed attention (I have a warranty) the only follow-up I had was broken promises, his crew never showed up.

Updated review: After two months, the job is complete. The drainage issue was corrected and the steps were put in today. The incorrect rock was installed and we will have to live with what was installed, but it looks fine. Overall the work wasn’t bad, but it took much longer and having to hound them to finish the job.

Glad I made the switch!. Palos Landscaping sets themselves apart by providing full service and being reliable. No more worries about weeds or overgrown shrubs. I have them do everything regarding lawn maintenance, landscaping, and fertilization program. I signed up and the results are amazing it takes patience but once the applications start working you will be amazed. Why go with anyone else if you have this great local company in Cypress! John and his crew rock! Stay hungry and best of luck on your Master's Degree you have my business for a life time!

This is a crew of well qualified young lanscapers and yard builders. Just be upfront about the price, the material, deliveries, cleaning and other details of the job and the budget and all will be fine. I had a good experience. They built up a flagstone walkway on a concrete base for me. About 120 x 3 ft. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. We had some miscommunication about the pricing but in the end everything was resolved amicably and I strongly recommend them for future work and will hire them again when needed.

I hired palos Landscaping to do my backyard, I needed new plants, soil and mulch for it to look better, I have to say they did a great job . The flowers look beautiful they had lots of color and the black mulch was a excellent choice.
