Updated review: After two months, the job is complete. The drainage issue was corrected and the steps were put in today. The incorrect rock was installed and we will have to live with what was installed, but it looks fine. Overall the work wasn’t bad, but it took much longer and having to hound them to finish the job.

Glad I made the switch!. Palos Landscaping sets themselves apart by providing full service and being reliable. No more worries about weeds or overgrown shrubs. I have them do everything regarding lawn maintenance, landscaping, and fertilization program. I signed up and the results are amazing it takes patience but once the applications start working you will be amazed. Why go with anyone else if you have this great local company in Cypress! This is a crew of well qualified young lanscapers and yard builders. Just be upfront about the price, the material, deliveries, cleaning and other details of the job and the budget and all will be fine. I had a good experience. They built up a flagstone walkway on a concrete base for me. About 120 x 3 ft. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. We had some miscommunication about the pricing but in the end everything was resolved amicably and I strongly recommend them for future work and will hire them again when needed.

I hired palos Landscaping to do my backyard, I needed new plants, soil and mulch for it to look better, I have to say they did a great job . The flowers look beautiful they had lots of color and the black mulch was a excellent choice.

Used Palos to overhaul our landscaping and they were outstanding. Very attentive and listened to our requests. I’ve used some of the big name landscape companies before, and these guys were just as good at a much more reasonable price.

Can't say enough about their incredible work! Our property looks absolutely outstanding, when neighbors walk by they always stop to comment about it. They kept to the schedule we needed and to our budget. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone!

I haven’t had to report a business to anywhere before but I am looking into it. I contracted Palos Landscaping to do a patio extension on a previous patio they installed. They were difficult to schedule with. They cancelled. They set a day and time to which they were late. They did not install base rock or compact the soil as listed in the contract. They did not round the edges or texture the top seamlessly as agreed. They have not provided receipts for any project. They left the yard in disarray. They kept us up until the middle of the night due to their late arrival and start. They collected a 50% deposit on an amount more than agreed in the contract, then collected the rest after they said they were finished, and then told us they could not do everything they said they could. When I tried to work this out with them they said it could not be done and then asked for more money to fix their mistakes that was originally included in what was already paid. If they could not provide service already paid for they could have issued a refund for services not rendered but they refused.
I will have the patio fixed by other means since Palos Landscaping is not going to correct their mistakes. Lack of punctuality, professionalism, quality, responsiveness, and customer service is no way to run a business. This company accepted a deposit and more than the amount stated in the contract paid in full while knowingly being in breach of contract for services not rendered specifically stated in the contract, violation of agreement for not providing all services verbally agreed upon, and not keeping appropriate records or business practices since receipts cannot be provided for any projects. They should have to operate in good faith using good business practices or be out of business.

After having a new septic system installed, we were left with huge piles of dirt in the yard and lots of drainage issues. We requested quotes from a few local companies. Palos was the most reasonable by far and the most professional as well. John took photos and measurements for his estimate and always did what he said he would when he said he would. If there was a change, he notified me timely and communicated throughout the process.

All in all, extremely professional and a job very well done. I’ll definitely be using them again. Highly recommend.

We hired Palos Landscaping to completely gut our current landscaping/yard and start over new. From irrigation, to French drains, rock beds and laying new sod. He was responsive and made sure we were involved in all the decisions. Overall, very pleased in how things have turned out.

Palo’s landscaping did a fantastic job on our backyard. He performed two consultations to review what we wanted and even though we had an idea, he worked with us and was patient enough to make our visions a reality. His team came and knocked out the yard in a few days. They were very communicative with what was going on and let me know when each phase would be done. Very fair on pricing, and even accommodated our last-minute requests as we saw our yard come to life. Very good service and would highly recommend Palo’s landscaping for any future projects.

I had an area in my yard that needed new St Augustine sod and John and his team made quick work of it. Great quality and speed of work. Would certainly recommend.

For anyone who may be looking I recently used Palos Landscaping and Construction for a backyard project. They showed up on time (something unusual these days), completed the entire project in time and in budget.
While there they also planted a couple trees that were extra and even repaired an irrigation issue my previous provider failed to correct three separate times. His personnel were courteous and most importantly, they cleaned up after the project 100% as though they were never there. Right down to power washing on their way out. HIGHLY recommend John and his crew.

Actual person picks up to communicate with. Great prices and very punctual. Very professional and would definitely recommend.

PALOS landscaping did a great job on my home. I constantly changed my mind and made adjustments to my original agreed plan but Jon always accommodated and was always very professional. I will definitely use him and his crew again for future work , he told me I would have the best looking yard on the block and he didn’t lie . Thank you Jon !

I recently had my yard revamped with artificial turf, new fences, landscaping and trellis work done. Feel the cost was affordable based on other quotes given. He had lots of turf samples. The owner, John, has a ‘Can Do Attitude’ and always a smile on his face. I highly recommend company.

John was easy to contact and communication was great. He did a great job we are pleased. His rates are reasonable and honest. Will use him again for future projects.
