After having the same chimney sweep for many years, I needed to find someone new when the previous owner retired. The new folks who took over were in and out in under half an hour, and I didn’t feel like my chimney got a proper clean. Then I tried another company, but their estimate for chimney sweeping and repairs seemed way too high. That’s when I called B&N Chimney Cleaning. Marvin came by quickly to give me an estimate. I discussed the other company’s quote with him, and he explained that not all the repairs they suggested were actually needed. For example, my chimney cap had blown off in a storm, and the other company wanted to charge a lot to replace it, but Marvin said the old one could just be reinstalled and there was nothing wrong with it. They also wanted to repoint the back wall of my firebox, but Marvin explained that it really needed some bricks replaced and repointed the right way, so the issue wouldn’t just come back. I’m really happy with the chimney sweep and repair work. I feel confident everything was done right and at a fair price. I’ll definitely call them again for future chimney cleanings and repairs, and I’m glad to know they can help with gutters too. If you’re looking for an honest company for your fireplace or chimney, I highly recommend them.

Roger did a fantastic job giving me different choices to replace my broken fireplace. He was honest about the costs and helped us get a better deal than our first estimate. They were flexible with scheduling, making it easy to adjust when the weather changed. I highly recommend them to anyone in Dallas looking for chimney sweep or fireplace services. We are really enjoying our new gas insert—it has made a big difference in our home.

leonard came to our house and did a great job. he inspected our chimney and was honest about what needed to be cleaned and what didn’t, plus he explained the prices up front. the team arrived early, which i really appreciated, and they were very professional and knew a lot about chimneys. will definitely use B&N Chimney Cleaning again for our fireplace needs.
