Nature's Own Chimney Cleaning

Long story short: don't waste your time, unless you're looking to pull all your hair out. See below if you think you can handle the long version.

I come to you in frustration. I purchased a Groupon on 12/20/16. At that time I set an appointment for 1/27.
Well 1/27 came and went without so much as a call. I called on the next day to see what happened, to find out my appointment was on 2/27. This is only the start of the confusion.

I gladly accepted the 2/27 appointment and moved on. On 2/24 I received a call from the Houston office confirming my 4-7 arrival for Monday the 27th, which I validated.

Well my time window on 2/27 came and went without so much as a call. I received a call 15 minutes after my 7PM arrival time... only to be told that my appointment was added to the route last minute and he wouldn't be able to make it and that he could come 2/28 with the same 4-7 arrival time.

Well my time window on 2/28 came and went without so much as a call. AGAIN AFTER MY WINDOW I received a call to tell me they couldn't make it. I rescheduled AGAIN for 3/6 with the same 4-7 window.

Well my time window on 3/6 came and went without so much as a call. I called the office at 630 but guess what? Its after hours... This is literally the 4th time I have left work early, and been home at 4, and waited all 3 hours (patiently waiting to eat).

Well the tech calls me finally at 715 (after my time like all the other contacts) on 3/6 to tell me he will be able to arrive at 8:20PM... in an effort to not do this again I accepted this time.

Well guess what, no work done on 3/6 either. The tech calls me at 8 to tell me that somehow my city was wrong in the system and he just drove 45 minutes in the wrong direction. I received a call the next morning to reschedule for 3/11. Requesting a shorter window I was told 4:30-7.

FINALLY! they arrived at 7pm to complete the work. One very young man came to the door with tools, while I assume his boss sat in the truck, since it was still running. He put his little shoe protectors on and went to work. He finished in under 30 minutes. Then proceeded to offer me pest services. I laughed and told him to have a good day.

The employee was personable and I am grateful for the shoe protectors since he was filthy, but that part I understand. None the less that is the only positive thing I have to say about this company. The work was bad and dealing with them would make a normal person suicidal. To add a little salt to the wound, I sent them the above details (before the review) hoping for perhaps my money back, without so much as a response in 3 weeks. The first scheduling issued may or may not have been my fault but the other 4 where certainly your company's.

As you can see, I have had an exceptionally difficult time trying to get my chimney cleaned. Not to mention it is now spring, so I am not even sure I need it now. Now that you read all that, do you want to call these folks?

James did a great job cleaning our chimney. He worked quickly and effectively and was happy to answer any questions we had. Will be using Nature’s Own again in the future.

The service was perfect. The Tech called ahead and was punctual (early!). He was very professional but also very personable and informative. They will be our Chimney co. For many years to come!
