Herman and his team are fantastic! His team was very professional and they left my house spotless everyday that they worked. Very respectful. They helped us build out a wall and hang a barn door, it looks as if the house was built this way! Will definitely use again .

I recently had the pleasure of working with Hermann and his team for a second time. When water started dripping into my garage from the ceiling, I knew I needed serious help. Hermann's team discovered that the shower had been improperly built leading to a slow leak that ended up rotting the beams and joists below the shower and eventually coming through the ceiling below. They were able to provide a clear vision of what to expect during the repair work which included demo'ing and rebuilding the bathroom and garage ceiling. What truly stands out, and why I'll keep calling on the HG team, is that they're punctual, respectful and excellent at communicating what to expect during each phase of the project. That's super important considering the high stress of dealing with an unexpected mess like this. Speaking of messes, they left the work area spotless at the end of each day and the quality at the end of the project was fantastic! I would wholeheartedly recommend Hermann and team for any home reno needs!

I was referred to HG & Co and Herman from the Lakewood FB page for a new electronic gate installation. The process was as smooth as you could hope for. It started out with a site visit. He explained, in detail, what would need to take place (e.g. run a slab of concrete the length of the gate so I wouldn't have settling issues, trench and run electrical condiut, pour a small slab for the mechanical box to sit on, etc). I appreciated the detail he provided so that we were both aligned on the project.
Once we decided to move forward, the different crews were called in and each crew came on time and were incredibly polite and thorough. They were very forward-thinking in their approach. For example, they made sure the bottom track did not run the entire length of my driveway so that I can easily move the trash bins down to the street and back without having to haul them over the tracks AND so that my mother doesn't have a tripping hazard when walking down the driveway.
The gate is by far the crowning jewel of my house. I would 10/10 recommend!

We were very pleased with repairs from HG&Co. We needed to coordinate door frame repair, soffit repair, roof repair, and painting the repaired areas into one job. HG&Co managed this for us and came through with flying colors. I would recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.

Herman was great to work with from start to finish and communicated everything clearly whether it was good or bad news. The work was top quality and corrected promptly where it needed to be.

HG&Co did a fantastic job for us! They replaced the tile in our kitchen and bonus room as well as added built ins! Everyone was extremely timely and communicated very well especially compared to other contractors we’ve worked with in the past.

We had an amazing experience with HG and Co.! We renovated our patio and added a bedroom for our daughter in an existing living room space. The HG and Co. team completed these improvements in a seamless fashion! The bedroom in particular was SO impressive to us! You cannot tell that it was not a part of our initial renovation four years prior. I only wish we had found HG and Co. sooner! We will never use anyone else for further work on our home!

Had the exterior of our home repainted and some places in our trim, soffits, and fascia boards replaced from rotting due to rainwater and poor upkeep from previous owners. We also had new gutters installed on the backside of our home. Everything was great! Herman and his crew listened to all of our concerns and did everything that was necessary plus gave us some feedback/options when it came to making decisions for repair and painting. Would not hesitate to work with them again for future home projects! Thanks y’all!

Herman and his crew are excellent. I have used them for a total bathroom and closet remodel and for interior and exterior paint work. Herman is friendly and knowledgeable and has very competitive pricing. He and his crew are trustworthy and skilled. All around, I have had great experiences working with them.

Herman and the HG crew helped us completely remodel a house in Richardson, TX. It was a full-house, months-long project, replacing flooring and windows across the entire house, painting and repairing every wall in the house, and rebuilding a kitchen and three bathrooms. The house looks absolutely great now, and we couldn't imagine going through the process with anyone else.

From the initial walkthrough and all the way through the project, Herman was respectful of our needs and wishes, open and understanding when communicating with us, able to think outside the box and problem solve with us, and very professional and prompt when work started - personally there with the crew at the house most days of each week. He was able to help with the planning process, keep us to our budget, and his checklists meant we were all on the same page all the way through.

The work was well done, his crew was professional throughout, and we even had their help with several things that were outside the original scope of work. Work began quickly, and the project was completed ahead of schedule with the crew there at least 6 days a week getting things done quickly and thoroughly.

We are grateful for HG & Co. for their support and help, and for making the dream of a brand-new, customized house a reality. Thank you HG!

HG&Co replaced our roof, gutters, attic venting, and some other miscellaneous work. HG was very professional and up front from the very first visit. Replacing a roof/gutters due to hail storm and working with home insurance and roofing company can be very overwhelming. I felt a trust from HG right from the first meeting. Other roofers I interviewed, some I could tell told me not to worry about my deductible and other made it so confusing on how they price out the work and deal with the insurance company l felt lost and not confident. HG did everything they said they would do, very professional, great workmanship, and left the job site spotless! Great job!!

Herman and his team replaced two small windows in our home with large picture frame windows. We couldn't be happier with the results. It was a pleasure working with them. They set up plastic walls around the construction areas to prevent dust from getting all over the inside of our house. His team was courteous and professional at all times. Most importantly the results are clean, professional, and beautiful! I would recommend them for home renovation projects.

HG&Co helped me replace my roof and siding after the storms from last August. They are a great team to work with. Communication was great, trade teams were professional and courteous. Jade, Michael, Lydia, and David were easy to work with and were on top of every detail. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Herman, David and Jade made my first project with HG&CO a breeze. Jade was very attentive and helped guide me throughout the design process. David is an excellent communicator and assembled a team of professionals that took care of the project in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. Herman has built a company that is honest and reliable. I have an entire list of projects that I will be completing in the near future and they will be my first and only call. If you want something done right - give them a call.

In 2020, I had a neighbors tree fall and damage my home. I immediately called Herman at HG and got lined up. The process was fast. He immediately wrote the estimate so I could submit it to my neighbor's home owners insurance company. The quality of the work that his subs provide is excellent. I had zero issues with the final product. The paint prep was off the charts. The sanding. Painting by hand. I cannot recommend HG enough!

Herman Guerra and his large team are just a pleasure to work with. They completed an entire renovation of my kitchen, laundry room, and other improvements around our house and we are thrilled with their work. They were always very accessible by phone, text, email, and in person. Herman, Jade, and Walter supervised all the work closely and responded rapidly to any questions I had. Whenever an issue arose (unexpected problems occur in all renovations), they cheerfully handled all changes and made sure everything was done right—and as I wished. The company craftsmen are highly skilled and easy to work with. HG&Co is now our go-to contractor for all future projects.

So glad we hired HG &Co. We had quite a few updates we needed to make to our house before we listed it. They helped us navigate getting our roof replaced, helped with the insurance claim, and it was done in a day!They sanded and painted our siding, installed a range hood in our kitchen, installed new door knobs and locks and resurfaced and painted our textured ceiling in the living room. They were friendly, finished on time and we’re excellent in communicating costs and answering any questions I had, of which there were many. When we listed our house, we got 10 offers in 48 hours all over asking! Ryan and Herman and there team were wonderful and I am already getting quotes for them to help us on more projects at our next home. Wonderful company, highly recommend!

In addition to painting the outside of the house, they replaced the front porch ceiling and lighting, and replaced the old cement driveway with a new one. Herman suggested another vendor to assist with our drainage problem on the driveway, and coordinated the efforts of both companies.
Herman and his colleague, Ryan, were both very professional and responsive. I appreciate the great customer service and timeliness in getting the job completed. Communication with Herman was easy and he came up with great ideas and solutions for the project.

Working with HG & Co. was a wonderful experience, start to finish. Herman, Jade, and the whole team are professional, responsive, honest, and considerate. They gutted and remodeled an original bathroom in my 1950s home and it turned out beautifully. I appreciate how thoughtful their team was in sealing/protecting other parts of my house and cleaning up at the end of each day so I could live in the house during the construction. They helped me make design decisions and offered excellent suggestions on how best to achieve the look I wanted while staying within my budget.

I think communication is the most important part of major projects like these, and I can’t say enough good things about how responsive this team is. They care very much about their clients and they want to make sure they’re providing a positive experience. The work is high-quality, and if an issue arises, they’re very quick to address it. They also use a dashboard where you can see all the details of your project, manage payments, send messages to team members, approve design selections, etc. – and that made the process as easy and seamless as possible.

The most important thing I can say about them is that they do what they say they’re going to do. I can’t wait to work with the team to tackle my kitchen next!

We contacted HG after dealing with another contractor who was unresponsive and unable to communicate with our Insurance. HG stepped in and began making progress right away to get us our kitchen back after a flood. The team was communicative, professional, and friendly. We love our new kitchen and are so grateful for their great work. Highly recommend.

We had HG&Co build a new gym/shed in our backyard and we love it. Our project manager Marzella was fantastic and responsive, and the whole team was professional from start to finish. Their work is incredibly high quality.
