Utility Contractor reviews in Dallas, Texas

So very helpful! I needed to have some pipes located. Grant was able to help me over the phone and email. I didn’t have to use their service onsite, but if I ever do, I will be calling them! Thank you so much you saved be $$!

Grant is incredible to work with. Showed up on time, located the water line quickly and with 100% accuracy. A first class person and a first class company,

Grant was very professional and helpful on our project to help us understand the utility markings and how they related to the project. Without his assistance it could have been a very costly mistake.

Thanks so much Grant.

We worked with Know Before You Dig Locates on a recent fencing project that required a private locate. Grant went above and beyond to help us out! He was extremely knowledgable. I also appreciated that he was prompt, thorough and very honest. He was able to get our locate in immediately so we didn't lose any time on the job. We will definitely call him again.

Super great company, extremely helpful thank you to Grant for being patient and going above and beyond. We will definitely be using them in the future projects.

Grant was awesome. He helped us navigate 80 years of utility lines around our home. Our yard had an underground web of gas, electrical, cable, phone, and water lines. His experience and expertise helped us prepare our home and make safe sound changes for the next 80 years. Thank you so much.

ABOVE & BEYOND. We had spent a long afternoon searching for a clean out and at 8pm at night, our plumber said we would need a line locator. I immediately searched google for a local line locator & called Know Before You Dig. Grant answered and I provided him the information I was given. He left his dinner table and sacrificed his dessert to come help us locate the line/cleanout. He arrived promptly and pulled out his state of the art equipment and located where the cleanout was buried in minutes. He is extremely kind and knowledgeable. As he was driving away from our house, the cleanout was located in a brief dig! I shared his contact info with all of our friends and neighbors in case they ever need an honest, thorough locator who exceeds all service expectations. We highly recommend Grant to anyone, even our grandparents. Thank you so much sir! We hope you got to enjoy your dessert after all.

Wow, this guy is good! Grant from "Know Before You Dig" came out to my rural property near Decatur to mark buried electrical lines before I started to build a barn at one location and before I dug at another. He marked lines at both locations, and also notified me of the depth of each line. His impressive (truckload) of equipment was top notch, and his rates were below market.
As we chatted for a while, I learned that he has over 35 years of experience not only locating lines, but training other line locators as well.
I would recommend him and his company without reservation.

Wonderful company. Grant (the owner) was great to work with! They were efficient, fast and very professional. I would highly recommend them. We are a non profit that rescues animals and then provides veterinary care and adoption for them.
We also provide equine therapy to disabled veterans and special needs children.
Grant was kind enough to donate half a day of his time to our sanctuary.

Grant was awesome! We are planning to plant a tree and needed help finding our gas line in our backyard. We had called 811 prior to Grant coming to the house. I only needed him to find my gas line but he checked everything for us. We are thankful we did because 811 was up to 18” off in some places. Highly recommend!!!

Horrible owners!!!

Very good service

Steve and the personnel are very friendly; a pleasure to do business with.
