They were referred to us from a friend. I reached out to them on a Friday night & they came out Saturday to give me what I thought would just be any estimate. They ended up saying they could do the job then & there. They were very polite & efficient. Got the job done quick which was a very big help to us. Would definitely recommend them! Good job guys!

The J&H guys came out to my house right before hurricane Harvey was coming in because I was concerned about a weak tree that had been struck by lightening in the past. They were very efficient and accommodating even though they ended up doing half of the trimming with a spotlight after dark! Very few contractors have that kind of "get it done" work ethic. Great job guys.

These guys were amazing. Cut 2 big trees down, ground stumps and hauled everything off. They were very careful not to damage the drive and the house. Very professional and really nice people. Loved their work and them.

Josh and his crew did a Great job on this Oak in our front yard. Came out and looked it over, we agreed on a price that I thought was very fair for the amount of work I wasn't about to do. They showed up pretty close to when he said they would. Got right to work. Didn't destroy our landscaping that was right under the bulk of what I wanted cut. Then he got up in the top of the tree and cleaned everything out. I am very Happy with the work they did. Will definately hire them again and tell all the neighbors about them.

Crew was very professional, and finished the tree in less than half a day. Have no qualms about rehiring them if we need another tree removed. Even with the heat of the day they knocked it out in roughly three hours.
They are insured and will keep in touch with you about anything regarding the tree.
These guys are a solid crew, punctual and leave no mess!

I had Mr Josh come out to my house and cut 7 trees 2 of which where dead and rotting and 1 was hanging over the house,he was very knowledgeable in what he was doing and knew exactly where all the trees where going to fall when he cut them I would highly recommend him for anyone wanting to get any tree work done in the Dayton/liberty area

Josh was able to come out same day to give a quote and was out here the very next day to do the work. They cut down, hauled off, and stump grinded 3 trees in about 4 hours and for a great price. We will definitely use them again in the future.

DO NOT use Garrett Landscaping out of Old River! I had high hopes....
I was looking for someone to weed eat and mow immediately around my house (32x64) mowing about 8 feet around 3 sides of my house. The owner came out and wanted to charge me $200 the first time, to clean up some trees, remove low hanging limbs, pick up some trash concrete, just get everything cleaned up. I was quoted $75 going further after the initial clean up.
Well, they didn't get the limbs cut down and did a very poor job of initially cleaning, but I was going to give them another chance.
They came today to mow. I was still asleep. My front yard is maybe 8x10. They didn't mow! Only weedeated right around the house. So, I called Garrett. He told me one of his guys got hit by wasps out back. Said there were hundreds flying around. I know this isn't true because I'm out back every day. I have a dead tree that has a bee hive in it, but they didn't go anywhere close to it. I told him they didn't mow the front yard and I was told that I never asked them to mow! Why in the world would anyone agree to pay $75 just to have them weed eat immediately around the house? Just don't use them because they charge a fortune and don't do half of what you are paying for.

I don't doubt the guy got stung a few times. And I understand not finishing out back if he did. But there was no reason not to do the front yard.
So, anyone know of a reliable yard person?

Absolutely phenomenal I've used several landscaping companies and I have never had the WOW factor like when Garrett's Landscaping designed my yard.The service was second to none and they worked from sun up to sun down. My yard was in pretty bad shape but Garrett's Landscaping was up to the challenge and made sure I had the best looking yard on the block when they were finished. If you don't book them you are doing yourself a misjustice@
