I've owned my house for about five years now, and have trusted Comfort Experts to do much of the repair and maintenance work on it, with outstanding results.
But nothing compared to the scope of my most recent project, a partial re-plumbing of all the fast-deteriorating (and close to breaking) galvanized pipe running throughout my 1920s house – most of which was creatively installed in bizarre ways, many years ago.
So of course, Comfort Experts was my first call.
And I'm incredibly glad it was, because as challenge after challenge was uncovered, the Comfort Expert team worked through and overcame each of them – from an oddly-placed waterline, to the excavation and installation of a new water main through a yard filled with rock and tree roots (shout-out to C&R Excavation!), to reaching barely-accessible areas of the crawl space under the house to replace difficult-to-reach pipes. Etc.
It was a true team effort, and the Comfort Experts technicians handled everything in stride with determination, patience and professionalism.
Tyler B. – only two weeks into his role at the time – was already insulating pipes, navigating the crawl space, and digging holes like he'd been on the job for months.
Zach answered the call when he was needed; squeezing into ridiculously small spaces to access areas otherwise impossible to reach.
Daniel was with me every step of the way, and I was less anxious about the entire project knowing that it was in his very capable hands. He confidently navigated each unforeseen issue – and there were many – while patiently answering my questions and constantly troubleshooting issues with the team.
And then there was Mark W., who was everywhere and seemingly capable of doing everything. He was in the attic running a new drain line for my HVAC. He was under the house installing new pipe. He was hopping into holes with a jackhammer to assist the excavation team. He had a tool for everything, and an answer to every question, and his high standards for excellence – for his own work and that of his team – also gave me great peace of mind.
What started out as a seemingly simple project ended up taking a full 3.5 days – but I am so grateful that Comfort Experts got it done, and was able to do it right. My 100-year old house will stay standing a little while longer thanks to them! -

Hobson Air Conditioning Inc./Comfort Experts, Inc technicians were the best! They did a fantastic job! Alex and Jonathan were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. As someone who pays close attention to the details, I could tell right away that they truly knew what they were doing.
The work they did looked excellent, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Comfort Experts. Thank you Alex and Jonathan. Outstanding service from start to finish! -
Discovered a shower leaking in the wall. Called Comfort Experts and had an appointment set for the same day. Daniel came out diagnosed the problem and scheduled a repair for the next morning. The repair is excellent and was accomplished quickly. Comfort Experts always provide great and timely service for my hvac, plumbing and electrical needs.

I scheduled standard maintenance for our HVAC system, and they set up something for the next day. They do not issue a specific time window, it's just anytime between 9-5. I'm not crazy about that, but I was working from home so not a big deal. Unfortunately, they were not able to make it on that day and had to reschedule for the next day.
Daniel A. was our technician. He was very nice, worked quickly, and explained that everything was working well except for the controlled amp start thing. He said it was not a necessary repair, but still provided quotes for the repair in case we wanted to do it. He also explained their monthly subscription, but I did not feel pressured to purchase anything I didn't need or want.
Overall, I am pleased with the service, but scheduling is a bit open-ended which might be difficult for people who have to go out of their way to be home for it. -
Bottom line, my A/C unit is up and running again in less than 24 hours from when I contacted Comfort Experts, the end result was $503 for a "Premium Dual Run Capacitor". The technician was polite, professional, efficient, resolving the problem in under an hour. The only issues I have are with the total cost and lack of detail in the invoice for the repair. Seems a bit pricey and I would prefer an invoice with parts identified, labor required, trip charge, tax, etc... So, August in Texas is hot, the house is now cool, Comfort Experts has $503 of my money for the trouble.

Will never use this company again! They just robbing people with their crazy high prices. Ask for UV light for my AC unit, they told me it’s will cost 2500$ 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Eventually bought UV light for AC units of Amazon for 200$ , and installed it for 30 min myself 🤷🏼♀️
And this just one example, they overcharged 1000% for every single part they replace. -
Horrible company, do not do business with them. We've had them servicing our home for the last 3 years, and if we had a choice would not use them at all going forward. Every year we've had a different person come by, and at least two visits we've had errors left behind. The only time we had someone else service our AC unit we had multiple issues pointed out that were left behind by this company. We've had this company unnecessarily recharge our unit and then forget to screw the cap back on. After this latest mistake of forgetting to turn the power back on to the unit, and after checking a couple items myself, I called and talked to Autumn, who could certainly stand to learn a thing or 2 about customer service and accountability. Before she figured out that the best thing to do would be talk to the tech who came out I got nothing but a story of potential delays, lack of accountability, going so far as to ask us if we could wait another day for them to come back out to fix the issue. Autumn used the word "but" entirely too often in an initial call about an error. You need to reassure your customers that you will figure it out, in a timely manner, and then actually go figure it out before you start making excuses or talking about timelines. It shouldn't take someone being upset to finally do the right thing. I've had a couple techs come out who have pointed out what a scam their yearly subscription is as well. I agree it feels very scammy. I'd rather support a different company that doesn't play these games. You should too, or you might need to hire another company to check what this company did.
On the plus side, their techs are usually professional and friendly, and they themselves do own their mistakes. I wish that were representative of the company as a whole.
