We had been out of our home for nine months because of a water break and damage to our home. Most of the yard, front and back, either had no grass or very little remaining, so we decided to replace all of it. Bob came out and was very quick to send a quote for the work, which we felt was more than fair, especially compared to other quotes we had received. They arrived at our home on time and began the process of removing the old grass and preparing the soil for the new grass. We also asked the workers if they could use some of the dirt to fill in an area where it had completely eroded over the past nine months and was part of a flat stone walkway. I had already removed the flat stone and was planning on replacing it, but when I got home not only had they filled in and leveled that area, but had replaced the walkway stone themselves. It looks better now than when it was installed by another company a few years back. Bob came out the next day to check the work and make any adjustments needed. He and his employees were responsive and friendly and we highly recommend them.

Just before the Arctic Blast hit our area (with freezing temperatures), I needed an emergency repair on my irrigation back flow preventer. After calling Bob’s Irrigation Services, they were able to quickly replace the failed back flow preventer valve, install a shut off valve (that was missing), and avoid further damage and problems that could have resulted from the freezing conditions.

Unprofessional, overpriced, rude and disrespectful employees.
Homeowners beware!
I receive no confirmation of appointment and got no phone call prior to them showing up.. which I requested. (Provided a home & cell number.)
When they told me the price I asked them to stop because it was too expensive
Three large Workers arrived in two trucks. Workers IGNORED me & the other property owner requesting at least four times to cease work.
(Ignored me asking them to stop undoing my work of digging out the problem area.)
Three large men who didn't speak to me, who turned their back on me and ignored BOTH homeowners requests to stop working.
NEVER would I recommend any homeowner call this company for help with anything.
***I spoke to Bob on the phone and was irrate because of the aggressive behaviour of his staff. However I calmed as he asked to discuss what happened .... To be told he cannot speak for his employees and have Bob continue to mansplain the work he decided needed to be done.
REPAIR DONE by a friend after hearing my experience ... Twenty minutes and price of parts. Look closely to the low reviews and you will see a pattern ...

I hired Bob's Landscape and Irrigation Solutions to install inlayed stepping stones and artificial turf in my backyard around my pool. The owner, Bob, was fantastic—kind and communicative at first—but, unfortunately, the project’s quality fell extremely short. The artificial turf wasn’t leveled correctly and now there are huge uneven low spots, and the stepping stones bleached out due to something in the leveling material the put under the turf. It’s now been a year, and despite my attempts, the owner has become unresponsive. I hope they’ll address this, but as of now, I’m really disappointed.

Brandon with Purple Care showed up exactly as we had setup. He walked the entire house and checked all of my self placed bait stations. He provided some welcome feedback in that we do not have a termite issue. In other words, he didn't sell me something I didn't need. Appreciate the honesty and highly recommend their services!

Cassius is a very knowledgeable technician and is always helpful when caring for our lawn. We really appreciate his expertise and enthusiasm. We would recommend him to anyone looking to have a dependable and professional service team looking after their landscaping.

Blake did an excellent job servicing our home. He treated the outside, garage, and lawn for bugs and critters, and even offered to do the inside as well. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and courteous throughout the entire service. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. I’ve been purple care for 7 years now and my grass in my yard has been dead and have not grown in 3 years. They recommended several treatments that would help the grass and it actually made the grass worse. I asked to see if they could do anything else and they told me no. The weeds have taken over my yard and they will not do anything about it. The customer services is horrible, they rarely ever get back you and when you ask to speak with someone in charge they never get back to you. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Cassius is always detail oriented and asks for any concerns before he treats the lawn. He thoroughly explains the service and proper steps to take after applying the products each time. Easy to see a huge difference compared to my neighbor who tries to handle their weeds and yard by themselves.

Buck with Purple Care came out today and provided the most thorough service I’ve ever experienced from a pest control company. He treated inside, outside, and the attic. He discovered a major mice infestation that my previous pest service completely missed, even though I’d been paying them monthly for over a year.

Buck immediately set traps, explained the situation, and pointed out problem areas around my home and yard. He also treated for fleas and ticks, which the other company never addressed. Jay, the inspector, went into the attic and found even more evidence, and Nick is handling lawn and flowerbed fertilization. Together, they showed me photos of rodent trails and damage in the attic insulation—shocking to see in a home we’ve lived in for just over a year.

Purple Care isn’t just handling the pests. They’re also sterilizing the attic and garage, fertilizing the lawn and flowerbeds, and treating for weeds and insects. The professionalism and attention to detail are on another level.

Caleb came out today to do pest and mosquito services. We really appreciate having the same technician. He made sure that we were happy with the last service and if there was anything he needed to focus on. Thank you Caleb and Purple care!!

This may be a good option for clients who don't work away from home or who do not need care scheduled in advance. We intentionally selected Purple Care over others because we want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, we ended up having to contract with a different company who is able to schedule with us in advance. Purple Care was unable to schedule ahead with us, despite saying that they would. I was assured on three different occasions--when we initiated service and on both times that they showed up without scheduling-that they would call us in advance to schedule with us going forward. This never occurred. They showed up two weeks in a row unscheduled on a day of the week I had specified we could not be home due to work. They then said that they had emailed me but that they had the wrong email address. I'm sure this is a fine local business and definitely wanted to support it. Just wanted to give a heads up that it may be better for those who can accommodate unscheduled services or who have bandwidth for some communication challenges.

Cassius is awesome very professional very quick very thorough at his job make sure everything is covered in a professional and timely manner and always has some educational advice. We appreciate him and all the work he does for us. Thank you.

Danielle was my lawn care expert this past year and she did phenomenal work! Her attention to detail and understanding of what my lawn needed and when truly transformed my yard from having a 70% weed infestation to practically none at all! She went above and beyond with the care and respect of my yard and home and was professional every visit. Having Danielle manage my yard has been an absolute pleasure and has built up my perception of what Purple Care has to offer! I look forward to learning more from her the next time she visits and know that my yard is in good hands when she is managing it.

Tony came out to do pest control today. He did a great job. All the pest control employees are very polite and address any concerns I have. I would recommend them if you are looking for a good pest control company

Can’t recommend these guys enough. Poor Jim always showed up in the middle of a catastrophe, but was respectfully persistent in earning our business. Our tech, Buck, is always on time, communicative, and very informative in his visits and treatment plans. You can tell he takes immense pride in his work, and with good reason - he does an incredible job. Great group.

Buck from Purple Lawn Care was fantastic! He worked quick and was efficient. He was also very friendly with our dogs, which we really appreciated. Excellent customer care and service all around—highly recommend!

Purple Care does a great job keeping my grass healthy and full. They are the third company I have used for lawn care and the other two were not great. Just had Kaleb Martinez treat with sulfur and pre emergent. He did a great job, called before arriving, and left good notes on watering and the general health of my lawn.

Kaleb did a great job. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Our yard is improving with each treatment.
