Landscaping reviews in Fort Worth, Texas

They do sell native plants, however they also sell tropical milkweed that kills off Monarchs. They act like it’s no big deal that they are fooling customers when confronted. They also sell extremely invasive plants like nandina and privet. Weston Gardens is only in it for the money and doesn’t care about trashing the environment with toxic plants.

This is a hidden gem in southeast fort worth and you have to check it out! We are having our wedding here later this year and i'll update then but I'm not expecting to change my rating. So far the ladies have been supper nice and helpful with the planning process. The gardens are nice and it gives a sense of wonderment and curiosity. If you get the chance to walk across the bridge to the ship then do it! Gardens has lots of cats that are friendly. Be sure to give your email so that you can get notified of the events that are held there regularly.
So our wedding was amazing. The value of this venue was amazing. The DJ, bartender and a police officer were included. The ladies really helped us step by step and were there for the event. It really helps when you have someone coordinating the event who has been apart of the planning process. They were easy to work with and went above and beyond my expectations. -
This is an amazing place, both the store and the garden across the street...our kids also enjoyed it...they were bummed they were informed the ship house was closed, but looked amazing from afar...my nine year old stated she wanted to live there but have someone else take care of the gardens...

I love the Weston Gardens! I have photographed a beautiful wedding here as well as a gorgeous high school senior session. I highly recommend the gardens for all of your photography needs!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience here today! I always have a great experience here! First of all, it's relaxing and peaceful, both the nursery and the garden. I not only come here as a customer, but I also go there to unwind. Their plants are beautiful and fit for our climate, mostly. The knowledge base of the staff is awesome! The folks that work there are friendly and enjoyable! It is dog friendly for friendly dogs, and my 16 year old min pin loves going there and making new friends. I'm thankful Weston Garden and nursery are here ❤️

Great independent nursery with knowledgeable staff. They have so many plants that you can't get anywhere else locally. I can't say enough good things about this place and that's not even going into the beautiful demonstration gardens. I only wish it was closer to me but we'll worth the drive.

It was a small but elegant and very pretty wedding. With the flowers in bloom butterflies everywhere temperature was perfect. And the lighting through the trees was absolutely phenomenal I would definitely have a wedding there at this time of year

As a wedding photographer who has shot lots of weddings on the West Coast I'm always looking for more natured-filled venues with those dreamy backdrops that can be hard to come across in DFW. And Weston Gardens is exactly that! So much greenery and variety in backgrounds that makes it perfect for photos! And oh my gosh the lighting in the bride's dressing room is STUNNING. I love the unique touches to the venue. My client got married on the pirate ship which I was hesitant about how it would turn out when they first told me but it ended up looking magical. Not to mention I LOVED working with Isabel! She's been one of my favorite coordinators to work with over the years and she is great at her job. 10/10 recommend Weston Gardens from the perspective of wedding photography!

Went there in mother's day. It was a great experience. Their free demonstration garden was beautiful. Since it was a special occasion they had harp music, popcorn, iced tea. I even found a great soon hat. Would do this again!

We just had our wedding here back at the beginning of October and it could not have gone any better than it did. Sue and Morgan are two phenomenal people to work with and are amazingly open to ideas when it comes to setting up and organizing one's wedding. Upon our first arrival at the gardens back in April, just walking along the pathways and seeing all the pockets of hidden spaces and wonderful plantlife, my at-time-fiance and I knew that it was the place to be. Not only does the gardens have a place in our hearts now, but so do the people that take care of it. I hope to visit there many times in the near future, no matter the occasion!

Fantastic experience this morning as usual. They have the best selection of natives on this side of DFW. Everything I planted last year did outstanding so I went back for more! Thanks a ton!

Love this place. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The demonstration gardens are not only beautiful but inspiring. Our family visits regularly. It's been a Mother's Day tradition for at least 20 years.
3/17/2024- Great place to spend St. Paddy's Day! Green teas, free oxalis plant, and a leprechaun? Great fun for the family! -
Lovely venue for a wedding, setup was beautiful and I enjoyed the garden exterior. Positive encounters include birds, butterflies, hummingbirds. Negatives include all manner of biting insects and spiders but hey you're in their territory after all. Bring some bug spray and comfortable shoes and you're good to go.

We were lucky enough to hold our wedding at Weston Gardens in November. Weston Gardens is an incredibly beautiful and unique wedding venue that feels intimate while allowing for space among guests, that feels magical and of another world just outside of a major metropolitan, and that felt so much like an extension of us (casual warm and welcome) but still acted as a formal backdrop for our night. Even in the evening/dark of daylight savings, Weston is well lit and the ambiance is unmatched. The team at Weston Gardens helped us plan a well executed wedding that went very smoothly and all guests raved about the beauty of the venue itself. It is a place we will have incredibly memories at for the rest of our lives.

Simple but fun for our family picnic. A lot of native Texas plants. Free entrance. It is like a showcase for their nursery across the street. A good place for a wedding. Their nursery was well decorated. Prices a bit more than usual. A very creative place to shop for plants, trees and flowers. Customer service above par. Worth a visit. They gave us ten percent of our purchase as a coupon for next month. I like that type of business enticement.

As a photographer, I'm always looking for great locations and Weston Gardens in Bloom is hands down one of my all time favorite locations! I've photographed here for over a decade now and it's ALWAYS well maintained and so well taken care of. Staff is ALWAYS so friendly as well. If it's a wedding, engagement session, family session, or just a beautiful day to enjoy the gardens, you need to check it out! (They have such an awesome history as well, be sure to ask. You won't be disappointed!)

Weston Gardens is so phenomenal as a park with a stream and amazing flowers and plants, I’m sure it a wonderful wedding venue. The plant selection is top notch, so thus would be a great place to introduce your kids to the joy of gardening and the outdoors. Recommended

Weston Gardens made my long-time garden wedding dreams come true! We had an amazing experience from start to finish with the staff there. Isabel answered our questions, helped us brainstorm, and supported us throughout the process. On the day of I truly felt my wedding was in great hands under Isabel’s direction. During March in Texas you never know what you’re going to get as far as weather goes, but the Weston Gardens team assured us the festivities could go on no matter what with their rain plan. The day ended up being warm and sunny and the garden looked beautiful. I got so many compliments from guests on the venue. We are so happy with how our wedding day turned out!

I always have such a great experience at this nursery. The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. The plants have all been great and have never had any that did not transplant well. The demonstration gardens, across the road, are beautiful!

I have been shopping here for many years! Huge selection of plants, trees plus everything you need to plant and care for what you buy. Staff are all very knowledgeable and eager to help with whatever you need! They also have a foliage garden across the street that you can walk through ot even rent for events. And the history is a lot of fun to learn about as well!

Beautiful hidden gem. When there's no venue, the gardens are open to walk. Easy to see why ppl hold wedding and different events here. They sell such great variety of plants too. Definitely will be back 🫶
