Terrible. They don't complete the jobs they're hired to do. Management is constantly changing and each one blames the one before them.

These folks are awesome. Under new management and I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and responsiveness. My spa/pool is not quite done but it's going to look amazing when it is.

Run as fast as you can away from this company! They came out to our house finally after missing our first appointment for no reason. They said we would have a quote the next week. We never heard from them again. We tried multiple times via email and phone and could not get a response. Terrible experience!

I was having a problem with my pool and I called my designer Chris on a Saturday. He contacted the GM Michael Green and they were able to diagnose and help me fix the problem. Great customer service guys! Thank you

Jennifer worked with us to design the perfect pool and continued to answer our question and update the progress every step of the way. We are very happy with our pool!

3 months later pool pump/filter out again for 2nd time. I have been given 3 dates by Michael of when it would be repaired. No one has ever showed up; and no one even calls to say they can not make it.

Can't say enough good things about this pool company. From start to finish I was thoroughly impressed. The owner (Jeff) is one of the best in the business and his knowledge and experience definitely show in how amazing his pools turn out. If you are thinking about getting a pool, this is the place to go for it!

Made an appointment to meet with representative for today. Waited 15 minutes no one showed so I called the office. The receptionist seemed bothered by my call and all she could tell me was she would call him.. never offered to call me back. I waited another 30 minutes with no calls so I left. Here we are four hours later still no phone calls. Glad you made my decision to hire a professional easier.

The manager of this particular pool company (Fort Worth) is a shady person and the structured format is way off in relation to the customers wants and needs....you would be better off doing the work yourself and getting a better outcome...even if you know anything about the how to of pool installation and how to do the steps to make it happen, because they are just third party sales reps. They have no hands on experience and they do not have the Customers Better Interests In Mind.
They are rude and condescending....
Please use extreme caution when looking for the proper service, desired outcome as all you'll really receive is controversy about the when's, where's and plenty of whys....Heart Aches from start to finish with them.....

If I were trapped and in the gates of hell and Blue Haven Pools was selling keys...I still would not do business with them.

I would have an easier time getting a two year old to eat Tabasco covered broccoli than I would getting Blue Haven Pools to finish their work.

This company is in my opinion, incapable of completing a high end pool project.

One can only speculate as to why the work is not complete after a year and a half. There is either a lack of concern or competency. My first email to their corporate office went unanswered. My follow up email basically told me to deal with the local project manager. After no improvement from the current project manager, my third email to the corporate office went unanswered.

After workers this week didn’t show up as scheduled, I visited the office on Camp Bowie yesterday to find out what the status was, and was treated to Michael Greene blaming everyone from the former employees, his sub contractors, the corporate office and even me! When I expressed my frustration that after a year and a half I still can’t use my cabaña he started yelling at me so loudly that another employee came out from the back to see what the commotion was about.

I just wanted straight answers and for someone to do their job and finish what I’ve paid for!

I asked about lounge chairs that were part of my contract and never delivered, and was told point blank to, “call the corporate office” and that “it wasn’t their problem”.

Let’s take a little trip through time:
Started project 12/2/2019
This is the status as of today (June 11, 2021) more than a year and a half since they broke ground:

The pool still leaks! No resolution in sight.

No drain cover for the drain at the bottom of the pool.

The spa light doesn’t work.

Fire bowls dropped off and sat on the patio for months then the bowls were installed off center then grouted against manufacturer’s instructions and left non functional for months.
As of today, they are still left unassembled and non functional.

Ice chest installed with no drain.
If an ice chest drain were installed, you would not be able to open the trash can which is installed directly below it.

The sink has no plumbing, coming or going!

Refrigerator installed with no electricity. Still doesn’t work.

BBQ Grill installed with no active gas!

Bottom step to patio stairs removed to install a drain line. Still not replaced.

Damaged paving stones not replaced.

Missing paving stones left completely uninstalled (basically holes in the decking)

There is a large hole in the decking directly in front of the non functional BBQ grill.

Wall completed without specified lighting or planters.

Cabaña ceiling not completed.
Cabaña posts not completed.
Cabaña stone work not completed.

Decking does not drain properly.

Basically, Blue Haven Pools is a shell company with a guy that hires out everything so when they screw it up (and they do!), he can just throw up his hands, yell at YOU and try and shift the blame to anyone else.

I tried to be patient but after 18 months it’s obvious they either don’t care, or don’t know what they are doing.

A canned corporate response to this review may try and blame former employees. They are also to blame, but the current team has been on the job since January and I still don’t have a functional cabaña, working fire bowls, lights for my wall, or a pool that doesn’t leak. So, it’s the current local team and corporate leadership at Blue Haven Pools that is also the problem. Don’t be fooled by canned replies.

Just the beginning of the process and I am glad I did not go with this company to build my pool. Was told my check would not get cashed it did. Decided to not build the after was told my tree would likely not make it. Tried to receive my deposit back that should not have been cashed and was told it was used for permits of which I verified that only 300 was used for permits per the city. Sent an email out to all parties and crickets... great way to run a company all I can say is use someone else

I don’t know where to begin. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I am so frustrated with this company and my pool that I would just as soon fill it with concrete.

The sales person promised us things that we paid for and didn’t get. Therefor we had to fight to get them or they didn’t make it on the sale sheet and we didn’t get them. Such as solar lighting for steps and volley ball net sleeves in the decking.

They didn’t design the retaining wall well enough to to prevent my pool from flooding with mud, nor did they put a French drain in, like they said they would, which would have helped greatly in preventing our pool from flooding. We developed a leak in our return line approximately 1 month after “completion”. That flooded our yard. It took them over 2 weeks to come fix the leak. We now have a hole in our decking where the plumber had to break through to fix the leak and the hole has been there over 3 weeks. Jeff the “Owner”, good luck trying to get him on the phone, just throws everything on Pat, his builder, and doesn’t tell him anything about what’s going on.

Our construction started in February and was “completed” until June. I had to call Pat every week just to get them out here. This company should not be business and if they keep treating people like this they probably won’t.

DO NOT use Blue Haven Pools Ft.Worth. We started our pool building process started in February 2020 and was still not completed by the end of June. We had to call them to see when they were coming out to do the next step along the inter way. It would be weeks before we would see or hear from them again. There was no walk through to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We are still missing parts of to our pool. We paid to have volleyball net sleeves put in that we never got. We still don’t have pad/controller to change the control functions on the pool. Our pool has very bad scaling that they we were told would be fixed. At the end of June - first of July the our pool filled up with mud and Hydro mulch because of the poor design of the pool wall that did not protect our pool.
They came out five days latter. Pat told us there should have been a drain put in that would have helped prevent most of the flooding. Pat then starts to put in the drain and gives my 11yr old $5 to dig the trench for the drain and leaves to not show up again..... So we dig it out and put it in ourselves. We had to rent a pump to vacuum out all the mud, rock and mulch from the flooding. And then treat the pool several times before we could get it cleared up. Our pool was unusable for weeks plus my husband had to take a day off work so that we could work on it.

We had to have the mastic completely removed and redone . The new decking has caused our existing porch/decking to crack, and all they did to fix it was pour mastic over it in a few places. The coping along our pool wall had to have pieces re-grouted and reset because they were coming off. They didn't clean up after fixing the grout and cracked rock pieces. The pool had a very large leak and they had to bust through our decking to fix the leak . It took them over two weeks to come out and fix the leak. In the meantime we had to try to keep the pool full so that it would not ruin the plaster and keep the pool circulating. We would fill the pool only for it to flood the yard. We had a very high water bill because of the loss of water. It’s been 6 weeks and they still haven’t fixed the hole in the decking . We are still calling and we have been told they will be here in the next day or two and they never show up. There are so many things that have gone wrong with pool build I cant even began to list them all. Our pool is only three month old.

My husband and I started the whole pool building process back in July 2020 it is now April 2021 and our pool is yet to be finished… in that time frame they have gone through 3 “owners” trashed our entire front and backyard, ran over our neighbors sprinklers TWICE, lied about fixing our yard and getting us sod, still haven’t connected the Ozone system and the auto filler and never connected the drainage system around the pool causing foul smelling rain water to backup all over the pool and having my husband dig out to get some of that water to drain. Because of this the city inspection didn’t pass. As today 4/9/2021 we have sent emails and text messages about getting these last items done and still nothing. If you go with this company just be prepared for the broken promises, false dates and make sure they don’t start changing things on the contract just before you sign.

UPDATE 5/14/2021:
After 5 weeks of patiently waiting, we still don’t have a date of completion on the Sandy lawn and the pump on the auto filler. We had to call Michael and ask them to come check our Ozono because it looks that is not working. They don’t answer the phone office and Communication it’s still a big issue.

UPDATE 5/21/2021:
Nobody have contacted us or showed up to finish the pending work. We’re still waiting on a date of completion after 6 weeks from my last phone call with Michael, who promised that the work would be done by the end of April.

UPDATE 6/10/2021:
The pump for the auto filler haven’t been installed and we haven’t received any notification about the sandy lawn order. We have 2 months waiting on the response for the new management. And we have 11 months trying to finish this project !

Their response to my review is a complete joke. They did nothing. Worst pool remodel ever and the corporate office is awful and useless. Even if the newer management is better (the NEW guy had called me and said he would call me back the next day at a certain time to see what we could do to fix the problems of former manager and I NEVER heard from him again- so much for the NEW management), if there's a problem the corporate office will do NOTHING to resolve the issues no matter how serious the problems.
