Lucio and coworker just left after doing an exceptional job of removing a very big tree from a tricky location—hanging over a covered deck and part of the house. Even after it stormed all night, they were here this morning, unloading their climbing gear, and had the tree down (carefully), run though their wood chipper into their truck, yard cleaned up and totally finished in 4 hours time. Awesome, detailed, fast workers! They even put the patio furniture back, and stacked some firewood I requested they cut small. Nice to work with, and the price was fair.

I've been using Montiel's for a few years now and he never disappoints. Very knowledgeable in his field, reasonably priced and cleans up after service. Tell him what you want and let him work his magic. You will love the results! Will continue to call him for all my "tree" needs.

My neighbor was having service yesterday and we have badly needed to have a few trees removed on our property for a while. I asked for a quick quote and when they would be available next. He quoted and said he could take care of same day once he finished up at the neighs house. He worked hard in the heat and he was very quick- taking care of all the things we initially agreed upon. Would do business with again for sure.

I’ve used Montiel’s Tree Service several times over the past few years. He’s responsive and does a great job at a fair price. I had a large tree break in storms on Sunday evening, I texted him and he was here the next morning. He removed the tree, ground the stump, and my yard was cleaned up by the afternoon.

Did a great job at cutting down a large tree in my front yard. It was in a pretty crowded space being next to 2 driveways and the street but he was very careful not to damage anything. Left the area looking nice and clean. I would definitely recommend Montiel’s.

He did a great job removing a huge dead tree. He was very careful not to touch a cable line running through the tree to the house. He even cleaned the area around the tree and left it looking better than when the tree was there. His prices were very reasonable too. I would highly recommend his services to everyone!

Montiel was wonderful. We called him and he came the same day to give us a quote (1/2 price of our previous quote from someone else.) He showed up the next day and trimmed our trees, completed the job quickly and cleaned up everything. He was quick, honest, polite and neat. Everything looked great when he was finished. We had a fallen Tree in our yard for 2 years. We didnt know what to do. We'd been slowly making fire wood out of it, though it was so much wood. At our rate, it would have taken a decade to burn it all. Montiel's came over and it took him 1 hour to cut it up, clear it, and clean the yard. Amazing!

I needed an insured company to cut a branch that was hanging dangerously close to my outdoor a/c unit. Lucio quickly removed the branch and was respectful of my yard.

A tree service company we hired to cut down a live oak tree fronting our house didn't show up this morning. After an hour's wait and follow up call, we were told they had car problems and wanted to reschedule for the next week. Tree has a crack on one of the main branches. Fearing the tree may fall, we wanted to get to cut it down now rather than wait for another strong storm to hit. We found Montiel's Tree Service (Lucio) on Craigslist for a reasonable price. Took Lucio 3 hours (cut, stump removal/grind and clean up) with his wife as his only help. We were impressed with the speed and quality of work and also with the cleanup. Won't hesitate to hire Lucio again in the future.

I called Montiel’s Tree Service because of the same day free estimate. I needed a fairly sizable tree taken down as well as a considerable amount of overgrown brush removed. They showed up when they said they would and gave me a reasonable price. I had to leave and took a risk by paying in full before the job was done. They sent me pictures at around sunset, 4 hours later, of the well completed job. I was very happy with the work. I would definitely recommend. Hard-working, honest, trustworthy.

I've used Montiel's Tree Service for about 4 years now. He always gives me a good deal and I don't have to wait to get tree work done. I usually call him to trim back my trees but this time he to removed damaged trees from the storm and cut down a I wanted removed. He always has good suggestions on how trim the tress so my yard looks nice. He does an excellent job and is very professional. He is highly recommended by me!

I have had different companies over the years trimming my trees. Montiel’s is BY FAR THE BEST one I have ever hired. Non only they trimmed the low branches I wanted. The way they cleaned up the tree and the canopy was the best one I have ever seen. This is by far the best one out there!! An the clean up was just perfect!

Highly recommend. I texted Montiel yesterday morning to assist with a large branch that had fallen and a potential branch on the tree that I was concerned would fall as well. He came out 2 hours later for an estimate and to complete the job! It was done quickly and he left my yard clean. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely consider rehiring for projects in the future.
