Had someone out within a few hours to look at our drain after I called and John did a spectacular job. It was not an easy access. While being honest about the difficulty, he kept his positive attitude about getting it done and that is the work ethic I love.

The gentlemen that arrived at my home were unable to identify and fix the problem even though I knew what needed to be fixed because I had the same issue with a clogged drain line from my AC a couple of years ago. They actually recommended that I needed my shower re-done, which would have cost me thousands of dollars in remodeling work. Luckily the plumber I had called previously was able to come out later the same day after all and cleared the drain line from the AC and fixed the problem.

My issues. Amazing company

We have used this company several times. I called them yesterday about my water heater that was out. Megan that took my call was great. However, the person that came to my house was very arrogant. We are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and my father (who always interacts with any service men that come out) is immunocompromised. I asked that the plumber please wear a mask. He did have on a little dust mask but made it painfully obvious that he resented having to wear it. He removed it multiple times, constantly pulled it away from his face, and made several comments about having to wear it. If a customer’s health is not important, then we will take our business elsewhere.

The team of Don and Anthony came out, located the busted water pipe in freezing weather and had to gain difficult access to affect the repair. At the same time, they installed a shut-off valve to the garage water so if we have more freezing weather, we can isolate that section and avoid repeat pipe freezing issues. They also installed an easy access panel. They were quick and professional! 10

The gentlemen that came to our home were so courteous, professional, prompt, efficient, and so very kind and helpful. We are so pleased we chose Sam the Plumber. Would recommend them to anyone and we will definitely be calling on them if/when we need a plumber again.

They came out the same day I called which was awesome. They fixed the problem the same day. Only issue I had is that they charged $300 for an hour and half job, which included them going to home depot to buy a part. When I called to ask if that was the right price for labor, they never called back. They did good work but was disappointed by the labor costs and no return call.

Sam the Plumber’s team did an excellent job for our family today. Matt was flexible with us as we talked through everything that needed to be done. Honest, knowledgeable, easy going and helpful above and beyond.

I am glad that some of you have had a good experience with Sam The Plumber. But I cannot speak for myself. I was charged a lot of money for unnecessary work that if the plumbing technician had done a better job looking for my sewer clog would have been half the cost and done in half the time. He made a decision on his own to dig under my house for an issue he thought should be fixed but was not the problem. And I was not given an option to fix only the clog issue which was not under the house. Buyer beware, make sure you know what your getting before you agree to it.

We had a unique plumbing need where we wanted to run a new gas line from the laundry room to the kitchen so we could install a gas cook top. Rolando came out with a plan and a team to get the line moved and they did it all within just a few hours. Great service and great people working there. I'd highly recommend.

I can highly recommend Sam the Plummer in Friendswood. They were prompt, fair and did the job right. I got three estimates on my job which consisted of repairing a cracked 3/4 inch pvc pipe connection. Sams bid was fair and 1/2 the price of the ridiculous highest bid which was also from a locally owned company. Sams was great and we will use again if we ever need a plummer.

Same day service to replace a water heater that didn't take long at all to install. I called Sam the plumber and c.j answered vary politely and knew exactly what I was trying to explain. He sent some out immidiately and they installed my new water heat in about 1. 1/2 hours and deposed of the old one. Great job Sam the plumber highly recommend .great dispatch and great technician

Very reliable company with caring technicians. Stevie Ray just left and did an awesome job! He went above and beyond to fix my issue. He even explained all I needed to do to be prepared for a big freeze coming tomorrow. As a widowed senior woman, I very much appreciated his kindness and excellent service!!!

Do not use Sam the Plumber. All details were given when we made our appointment. If I could leave no stars I would. They were not honest about times and necessary things like when the job would be done. The girl in the office Kim knew we did not have a faucet and stated no problem. Service man would show us some ideas of faucets and go pick it up. We were what we figured was the first appointment to be there between 8-10. Arrived at nine. Not happy that we did not have the faucet. Even though explained girl in office knew this was the case. Steve was his name, was not pleasant and said had more jobs to do that day. Since had to go for faucet. Not to expect him back till supposedly around 4pm. Asked why our job was not going to be completed since we had our scheduled time. Was unpleasant again and said he would get the faucet and be right back. Finally called him around 11:30. Had not taken that long to get the faucet. Stated he would be out at 2pm. Got to the house around 5pm. Did not have any needed supplies on the truck. Left at around 6:30 to 7pm. Stated would be back at 7:30 next morning to knock out the job. Had heard that several times. Next day not there by 8:15am. Did not answer phone. Called office asked her to find out where he was. Thirty minutes later called Kim back, said he had overslept. Was on his way. Not actually sure what time he arrived but did come and knock it out. Left around 10am. Use them if you like being used and ignored. We will never have them again so call at your own risk!

Hired them to check out a problem at a rental property. Someone called me and said the main line needed to be replaced for $3600.00. They said they would pull the permit and do the work. i told them to do the job. They did not pull the permit, but they did replace a portion of the main line. Three days later, the tenant called with the same problem. Had another plumbing company come in and determined there was a leak under the house. They dug under the house, found leak at 4 inch elbow and repaired it for $1500.00. To make matters worse, I spoke to one of the laborers from Sam's Plumbing who said they knew the leak was there when they excavated to replace the main line. It appears they just wanted to grab a quick $3600.00. Attempted to contact owner but got no call back.

John was able to get to my house right on time on day 1. He went above and beyond to get everything in the house fixed, while saving us money. Another plumber had recommended nearly twice as much work to solve the exact same problem. John offered a solution that solved the problem at 1/3 of the cost. We noticed something else was wrong with the tub, and asked if he could swing by the next day. Missed the heads-up call, but he came back out anyway. The service is great; the prices are great; the ppl working for them are great. Don’t bother calling anyone else.

They were 1 hr late, didn't have the part. Said they would be back at 8:30 in the morning. 10:30am still not there. Wanted $700 to install mixing valve, 1 hr work. After canceling, had another plumber do it for $375. Would never use this company again.

They are AMAZING! They came out quickly late at night to my house for an emergency involving a baby opossum behind my dishwasher, moved the dishwasher very delicately as to not harm the opossum. They patiently waited so that I could capture and secure the baby and we all had a good laugh about it. They are so funny, friendly and down to earth. Everything was put back perfectly as if untouched and very quickly. Stand up guys for sure and REAL men because everyone else I called chickened out and wanted nothing to do with the situation at hand. 10 out of 10 definitely would recommend!
