Reviews of local pros in Galveston, Texas

Orvis and his crew did another great job for me, this time removing tree stumps and extensive roots that were going to make a future landscaping job more difficult. Orvis and crew showed up on time and worked efficiently, As usual, they cleaned up well after the work was completed. This is a very professional crew and I highly recommend them.

Tree Worxx was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, competitively priced, clean, has great communication, and did a great job on removing 2 dead palm trees and trimming 9 other palm trees on our property. The trees look great, there was nothing damaged from the removal and stump grinding of the 2 dead palms, and they left the site cleaner than when they arrived. It was a pleasure doing business and I look forward to continuing to do business with Orvis and the Tree Worxx crew.

Orvis and his people did an outstanding job. We have three trees that needed a lot of attention. The crew arrived on time. They worked quickly, and took extra care to clean everything up. I am very happy with their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Tree Worxx did a fantastic job of pruning back several very overgrown trees and fertilizing them for us. We couldn't be happier with the work. They were easy to communicate with, gave us a reasonable quote and completed the job within the week. And, they thoroughly cleaned up and hauled away all of the branches and debris. We will definitely be using them for next year's pruning! Thank you Orvis and your crew!

Mark and his crew were fantastic and professional. He was very communicative and transparent with pricing and provided a fast, free estimate. I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with how quickly they worked, and how well they cleaned up afterwards. 10/10!

I am very pleased with the work the Galveston crew did. They removed my dead palm trees and a dead Ash tree. The freeze was hard on us, but they did a great job cleaning up our place. They were on time and very professional. My yard was cleaner after they left than before. I highly recommend them.

Tree Worxx was absolutely amazing to work with. They trimmed all the trees at the Islander East Condos and even trimmed some trees that were not part of the bid. They went way above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the job. They gave us a very reasonable price and were on time. It was extremely windy which made their job much more difficult, but they persevered and made our property look great. They were very professional, courteous and friendly.

Mark was awesome. He came the same day for the an estimate and gave me a great estimate with takeaway. His crew and him arrived and were able to get the job fairly quickly. I will be calling him again!

This company was highly recommended to us four (4) years ago by a friend based on many years of taking care of her trees. At that time the original owner was Orvis and he and his crew became "our tree guys"! When I learned that he had retired, I was thrilled to find that Mark, the new owner, was continuing to provide the same great service. He has kept most (all?) of the same crew and working with him is very easy. They recently trimmed all of our trees ( oak, pecan, magnolia, palm) and they did a superb job. They hauled away everything and the trees looked absolutely beautiful – and healthy! To summarize – a great job, professional, pleasant and at a very fair price. September 2023

Just moved to Galveston and needed some trees in our backyard cleaned up. Orvis came to the house for an estimate and sent me the quote for work within 24 hours of me calling the company. They showed up promptly, worked quickly and did a great job. We have an oak tree over a pool which needed quite a bit of work. They worked hard to keep debris out of the pool while they worked and cleaned the yard and pool after their job. Always great to find a reliable business and we will definitely use Treeworxx again when we need more work done.

Worked with Mark to have a couple of palm trees removed completely and one trimmed. He was able to come by, give me a reasonable quote with haul away and was even able to squeeze us in all within the same week! Great overall experience!

Orvis and his team are OUTSTANDING! Responsive, thorough, fair, well-priced and took great care of my trees after the ice storm. I appreciated how quickly they came and how fair they were in assessing the damage and taking excellent care of my palms. Their price was very reasonable and I knew that they were doing everything they could to save my trees. They were quick and cleaned up the yard just beautifully. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We have used Mark and his crew on several of our properties that we own or manage for others. Very professional, knowledgable and dependable. Tree's look great and they do a good job of cleaning up afterword.
I would call Tree Worxx the best tree service in Galveston.

Excellent Work and Professional Team

We hired Tree Worxx for our two properties in Galveston area. They are fast and priced fairly. Our work was completed in 2 days with trimming and tree removal (5 palm trees in total). We highly recommend them to anyone in the area. The owner was out with his team and was great at communication along the way. The team are professional, efficient and friendly.

Mark and team did an amazing job at my home in Galveston. Their services were very affordable and prompt when removing multiple trees and the clean up was immaculate. I wish Mark the best for all his future work and will definitely utilize tree worxx when needed.

Tree Worxx helped us remove dead palms and trim others from our Surfside Beach home. Very professional and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend them!

Mark came to our rescue to trim trees on a moment’s notice - he was fast, professional, and amazing! HIGHLY reccommend using him for all tree services!

Tree Worxx was amazing. They were able to come out within 2 days to remove a dying oak tree from our yard. Their work was great and they left the yard super clean.

My trees had grown too close to the power lines and needed to be trimmed for safety reasons. Tree Worxx came out and gave me a very fair bid which I happily accepted. They came out quickly and got the job done without any problems. The trees look great and they cleaned up the mess and hauled away the branches that they cut. I highly recommend Tree Worxx!

I rarely post reviews but I had to share my experience with this very professional company. I contacted multiple tree services and 1). this is the only company that called me back immediately on a Sunday out of business hours and continued to communicate with me through pictures, texts and phone calls. During the week the other companies took days to get back with me with limited conversations. 2). They are Very reasonable with pricing 3). Upon arrival of the job they realized there were landscaping rocks that were embedded in the dirt and the tree roots that were so deep that it was almost impossible to do the job. Instead of stopping the job they went way and beyond with rocks everywhere and put extra protection for neighbors homes and mine. It was challenging because they had to stop when cars drove by. Their blades will probably have to be replaced. It took double the time of what was expected and they raked up all those rocks and placed everything perfect. AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME AN EXTRA PENNY. 4). They delt with very difficult neighbors with nothing but professionalism that I warned them about. 5). My other neighbors enjoyed watching a guy go up and down these 20 feet trees on his own with only a rope without a ladder and how fast his was. VERY IMPRESSED. 6). The owner also referred me to another professional to be able to remove all the deep embedded rocks because he knows I want a garden and there is no way i can without a professional. 7). He offered to return at no extra fee once more rocks are removed to go deeper to remove more of the tree trunks. THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!! I will refer them for ever!!!!! Thank you Orvis for everything!!!!!

Tree Worxx is an Awesome outfit. The professionalism of the team and this business was outstanding, experienced at palm tree removal. Shout out to Tom Thumb Nursery they referred Tree Worxx.
