If you are looking for Security Systems and Monitoring, I would really do your homework before deciding on C&B. We have been a loyal customer of C&B Security since they installed our system in 2005. Our system recently went down, so we inquired about upgrading. With all the competition in this space, providers are installing systems for free and making up the difference on the monthly monitoring fee. C&B told us they would update our system and keypads for $325 and to install a door bell camera and two additional outdoor cameras would be another $1,300. This is the price given to a loyal customer of 13 years? I even offered to have them increase our monthly monitoring expense in order to reduce the upfront costs associated with the cameras, C&B declined ... huh?? I had to make multiple calls into the company to get answers, schedule appointments and discuss pricing as I rarely received calls back when promised. All in all, their systems are not bad in any way .... it is just their level of customer service and their genuine care and concern for their clients. One would think that a small, private company would be more focused on customer service. C&B, unfortunately, is not. I would strongly recommend one of the larger /national Home Security providers, even if that means a higher monthly monitoring cost.

I had C & B electric to change my light bulbs changed on my high ceiling. I used them in the past, and they were able to change all the bulbs from the high ceiling. I called them again and asked them to do the same job this time. The technician came and changed those bulbs which are out, but refused to change those which are not out. Called the customer service number and spoke with 3 people. Unable to resolve my issues. I asked to talk to a manager, but they said the manager is gone for the day. They told me that a manager will call me the next day, but no body bother to call me. I do not recommend this company for anyone.

Alex came and gave me an estimate for all the work I needed to have done per our inspector after I bought home. The price was VERY VERY HIGH but I didn’t have time to shop around and I went ahead , had him do the work. He did an excellent job fixing what I needed and he was very professional.

Alex and crew did a wonderful job putting in 7 can lights and moving a light over our table for us. .They did very few cuts in drywall and left the kitchen clean. We are very pleased we chose C&B to do this work. ..I like that Alex was one to give us estimate and do the work!

If Alex had done the initial install of our lights and ceiling fans, it all would have worked the first time. This is more of a review for Alex (2 visits) and Kelly (1 two-person visit) than C&B the company but a company is only as good as its people. I can’t thank Alex enough for taking action, while being aware of our personal items (wears slip-on floor protectors over his shoes), to quickly get our ceiling fans & lights working. Alex is clearly an above board & ethical professional, which I truly appreciate and am willing to pay a little extra for these days. You typically get what you pay for! If we have anymore need to contact C&B Electric, you bet I’m requesting Mr Alex! Thanks again Sir!!

Alex is awesome! We hired an “electrician” from the board at Home Depot and it wasn’t worth it.

Alex from C&B saved our lives, literally. Alex found wiring without boxes (illegal) installed that were a fire hazard since the wires were laying against insulation. This is one of many problems that Alex found and fixed.

Alex was great to work with and extremely professional. Highly recommend!

We wanted to install outdoor flood lights to light up the outside walls of our new home after construction. Everyone we spoke to balked at doing anything citing extensive rip-and-replace damage to walls, brick, roof etc. In response to a last ditch effort, Alex from C&B came by and patiently listened to our requirements and came up with a great solution. After a full day's effort, we now have lighting all round the house with no cuts or damage to anything and it looks like it was built with the home! I would recommend these folks without any hesitation for tough jobs done right! Thanks!!!

If zero stars was possible, I've give it. Did the work in our brand new home, and sub-par for sure. Already lots of issues. Issues can be fixed, but poor service is unacceptable. Never returned phone calls, and every WHEN they did on Monday, acted like it was my issue, and blew off the 15 calls from myself and my builder for emergency issues with electrical. Obvious that the original owners focus on service has been lost - at least in this case. Wold NOT recommend.

You can tell a lot about a company with their public review responses. Instead of addressing the issue (OR PICKING UP THE PHONE TO CALL YOUR CUSTOMER) you spent 10 min crafting a review that painted YOU in a better light. Then downplayed my concern as a inconvenient smoke alarm issue - so OBVIOUSLY don't have a grasp on the issues. Perhaps better customer focused service would be a place to start. *DO NOT RECOMMEND

Alex was amazing. He explained everything he was doing and did things the actual power company was not confident in their skills enough to do! Left all old parts and even came back to make sure the City inspector Was happy with his work. Inspected even commented how much over and beyond Alex did. Alex is a true Italian craftsman in his trade!!!

Alex and his helper, Jared, came to perform a whole house inspection after we had a lightning strike to our house. I have used C&B since our house was built 11 years ago-for electrical service as well as TV/audio service and have never been disappointed. Today, they checked all outlets & switches, replaced smoke detectors & GFCI outlets. Cleaned up as they went, very efficient team work & Alex made sure we understood what they did & why. I always feel very confident that the right thing is being done at a reasonable price! Highly recommend this company and it’s excellent employees!

I had the good fortune to have Alex show up on a couple of occasions. The first time he stopped by, about 2 years ago, he resolved in fairly short order what I thought was an exceptionally difficult problem. He was extremely professional and took the time to talk through the issue with me. You could really tell he enjoyed and took pride in his craft. I can’t tell you how glad I was to see him again. This time, our problem showed up during our real estate transaction, the day before the buyers inspector was showing up. Long story short, we needed a new fan...and it was 22’ high in our living room. I didn’t have a spare sitting around and I wasn’t going to be able to put it up myself. Alex realized it was a clutch situation. Fortunately my wife was heading back to the house and was right by the depot. He offered to wait a bit so she could get a new one and bring it over. I would have totally understood if he left and had me reschedule. He had a number of other jobs to hit that day. Most people would have. Fan was up not long after, and problem solved.

Great experience with C&B Electric! I wanted to a get a whole house surge protector installed and the company sent an electrician (Alex) who was fantastic. He was very patient in explaining how the unit works and was extremely efficient with the installation. Alex is clearly very experienced and truly cares about the customer experience. Thanks Alex!

We highly recommended Alex. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The whole experience was great, and he is very professional. Great communication and punctual! He and his team took extra caution to make sure our floors and counters were protected during the installation of our chandeliers. Definitely exceeded our expectations. You will not be disappointed.

I had Alex out today to do my annual inspection. He was thorough as usual. He was very efficient and professional and gladly answered all of my questions. It wasn't the first time Alex has performed work for us and I can't imagine asking for anyone but Alex to handle our electrical needs. Thanks C&B for sending such a great electrician.

Before I called C&B electric I had called couple of other companies to come and give me an estimate on a job. I wanted to change some fixtures and change some lightbulbs on a 20ft high ceiling.
Alex from the C&B Electric gave me the most reasonable and best estimate.When Alex showed up at work he started working on the job immediately.he knew from the get go, that where the wires were and how to troubleshoot. He was quick with his work. He finished an 8 hour job in half the time. Alex was courteous, very polite, very knowledgeable and knew his work inside out.
I’m glad I called C&B electric especially Alex, to do my work I’m really impressed. That’s why I’m writing this long review to make sure that he gets what he deserves.

We called C&B around 11pm on a Saturday night. Alex responded immediately, and headed to our house. Luckily it was a cool night and we were able to put fans in our open windows and get through the night, and he wasn’t bothered to be called off after already being on the road for 30 min. Alex arrived by 10am Sunday, and worked for almost 2 hours to fix our issue. He was kind to my toddlers and interacted with them when they came out to investigate. He did excellent work, and showed me everything he did and why he had to do it. Short version - Alex was awesome!!!

Our new build is wired by C&B electric. After living here for 1 year and 3 months, our dishwasher and disposal breaker went out over the weekend. We called on Monday when they opened and the operator said that they would call the electrician to see if they could come out that day. We called several hours later to see when they were coming and she said, “oh, I forgot to call.” They couldn’t come out until Friday, almost a week after the breaker went out. C&B told us that it would be covered by warranty on Monday when we called. After waiting for them to come on Friday, they called to tell us (when the appointment time was supposed to happen) that they actually wouldn’t cover it and there was a very large fee for them to come out. We are using a different company to fix our breaker. In my opinion, C&B is unprofessional, overpriced, and obviously doesn’t stand by their work.

We recently had some new landscaping lights installed using C&B Electric. We worked with Alex & he was great! He was timely, professional and did a thorough job explaining our choices for instillation. We’ll definitely use this company and request Alex again.

Installation guys were good. I wish the process would have been explained a bit better. I wanted a wireless alarm system but they kept trying to push me towards hardwired. Once completed they grouped sensors (master bedroom window - living room window - front door) I am used to everything being separate. Now they want to up charge me to add 8 more zones because hardwire has a zone limit. All in all if I would have gone with a wireless system with a big alarm company they would have made me sign a contract but probably would have paid less.

Alex is fantastic! He did a great job installing an outlet above our fireplace for a tv and installing four ceiling fans. His knowledge and expertise helped us make great selections. We felt confident and secure about choosing C & B Electric. We will definitely be calling Alex out for future electric wants. 😉

I would highly recommend using C&B electric for all your electrical needs.
