Barry Johnson and his team at Blooming Colors are difference makers with their creative approach to landscaping in the DFW area. We started in May with replacing some very worn-out sod and shrubbery. The results were stunning. This week, the guys were out to replace summer annuals and a few of the perennials that perished during the dreadful drought. Our yard has never looked better with the lush grass and fresh fall color.

Not only does Blooming Colors have an extensive selection of the most beautiful plants, they also have the best service! I usually don’t post reviews but I gotta give credit where credit is due, thank you so much Brianna for helping me decide on a plant to complete my backyard tropical oasis. 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back !!

Stunning post pool renovation design and installation of landscaping. They did the patio with the arbor and all the landscape lighting. The fountain is from Blooming Colors as well. We love everything they have done and would highly recommend them.

Just moved out here from CA and missing all my plants already. Stopped at this place to see what they have and I must say that I will be definitely coming back. Staff is super friendly and they have a roaming cat 😻❤️.

Barry Johnson and the team at Blooming Colors Landscape took us from an idea to an embellished design and execution of a landscape for our new house that made it feel like our home. Their modern design pond and backdrop was extraordinary!
Their experienced crews managed everything from the placement of 2500# stone blocks, pond and fountain installation
and several garden areas including the laying of a new stone front walk and patio. They altered the irrigation as needed for support and added some lighting to highlight their installation in the evening. It was all well done and with super helpful and cordial folks. They made it look easy as only professionals can.

Brie provided excellent customer service and her knowledge of abelias and how to plant and fertilize them was very helpful!

This place is truly exceptional. The tree selection alone is above and beyond. I ended up taking home a 2ft Japanese maple Red Dragon and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Jackie spent a lot of time with me going through all the options for my yard and explaining which plants would thrive in my shaded environment. I also just loved talking with her in general. Sam also did a great job showing me exactly where I needed to go for what I needed. Their selection of plants and trees is truly something to behold. I can't wait to go back and finish my purchases for the yard!

We love Blooming Colors! They have been taking care of our yard for a few years now. After we moved into our home, the front yard was in rough shape and the backyard needed major help with a crumbling patio that was way undersized. Barry came and did a gorgeous custom design for us that was very easy to get approved through our HOA. We couldn’t afford the whole thing in one, so he helped us phase it out. Eventually when we put our pool in, he worked directly with the pool designer to make sure everything was planning and executed perfectly. Since we started, Barry’s team has been helping us maintain the yards and take care of everything. Blooming Colors can do it all and I would highly recommend them. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

We have had drainage issue in our backyard since we moved into our home 5 years ago. Blooming Colors came out, assessed the issues, and put together a plan.

We reviewed the plans, and they worked with together on our other us on any thoughts/suggestions. We agreed on the plan and the team came on schedule to start.

The team arrived on time and worked several days to complete. The team was very pleasant, and they were very detailed on the project from start to finish.

Actually, yesterday we had 3.95 inches of rain, and our backyard had zero issues!!!

Once again Blooming colors comes to the rescue. I used them several years ago to create and install my backyard landscape after my pool was installed. Now they helped me to beautify my yard again after the loss of scrubs due to cold and disease. I am a novice gardener and Sidney helped to pick out which plants would work best based on sun exposure and my landscape watering. I told her I was looking for more color and she was able to suggest some plants I hadn’t considered. Thanks Sidney for making me feel confident about my purchase by explaining I could bring pictures into the store and ask questions about the health of the plants and even have them replaced if they didn’t survive. This place is the only place I’ll ever buy from!

This place is great! Everyone was so kind and welcoming to both me and my dog! Bri was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me find everything I needed and even gave my dog a water bowl with ice cubes! Fantastic experience. Will be coming back again.

This nursery is absolutely beautiful! There’s so much to see here with their selection. Brie made our experience so much better with her knowledge. I would definitely come back!

I’ve shopped at Blooming Colors a few times this spring even though there are many nurseries closer to my house. I really appreciate the service I get at this nursery whether I am calling to inquire about a specific plant or shopping for one at the nursery. From the moment I arrive, someone offers to help me find the plants that I need, load them on a cart, bring them to the register and load them in my car.

On my most recent visit I was looking for Rose of Sharon trees and spoke on the phone to Breanna (Bre). She was very helpful and helped me through the decision process ultimately selecting 2 beautiful trees that look so good in my garden. It was a great shopping experience and shouldn’t shopping be fun ?

Lastly, this nursery had amazing plants that are very healthy. I will definitely shop here again.
