We also had bought an older home with a brick fire place. While on the roof one day to cut tree branches that were getting to close to the roof, I noticed the top of my chimney (crown) was cracked an in need of repair. Rather than wait till I get rainwater in the house, I called a couple chimney repair companies for estimates. The first company sent a youngster in a ratty looking pickup truck; I was not impressed with his level of skills or even how he used his ladder to view my chimney cap.
Looking around I found Lords, The receptionist I spoke with was kind and informative. In a couple of day the guys came for my estimate. They were professionally dressed and in a company truck. They advised me of my options and the cost of each. I elected to use the crown seal method. In a hour they were through. Throughout they were neat professional and effective. Great company, I plan to use them again to have my fireplace and chimney inspected and have been telling all my neighbors about them.

Very courteous and professional! They gave me a call to let me know they were on their way then I received a text with a picture of my technician and detailed information about my appointment. They did a great job keeping my house dust free. I definitely recommend Lords Chimney!

Miguel was super informative and helpful to show me all the operations of my fireplace. I had the company come out for an inspection, and we plan in the near future to renovate and update the fireplace and all the information that they provided on the process was greatly helpful to plan out as we need.

I was very pleased with my overall experience. Customer service reps and technicians were very friendly. Text reminders and phone calls about appointment time and arrival were very helpful. Lords service is awesome. They let you know exactly when they will arrive and inform you of all activities. Lee was my service guy and he is great - he educated me on everything I need to know about dryer vents. I had my vent cleaned and termination on roof changed. Hopefully won't need them for a while but will definitely call for anything vent related or with my fireplace.

Marlon and his partner were great. Gave me honest feedback about my chimney. Said it’s not time yet to do the work. They were neat clean and respectful of my house and were careful not to let my cats out. Very happy with the service and will use them again

Had a free inspection for a holiday discount and our Chimney expert Cody was very professional and knowledgeable. Time and care was taken to make sure everything was kept clean. They gave a great report with all the details and offered very reasonable prices on fixing what I needed. I would definitely recommend this service.

I highly recommend this company for any chimney needs. Had an issue with a leak at the top of my chimney and it was fixed within 48 hours. They were able to explain my options with cost/benefit honestly, price was very reasonable compared to competitors, and the work was quality. The repair included a full inspection, and Jack our technician was prompt, personable, and thorough in his work while answering any questions I had. They explained but did not aggressively upsell more expensive or unnecessary repair options, which I appreciated. Overall very satisfied, this is a honest and reputable company. Thanks again.

I had Chris come to.our house today.They were on time which is a big factor to me,they did a through check of my fire place. He sat down with me and explained. What needs to be done to make my fire place usable. He was able to give me two options to pick from no hard selling. Great open conversation.
I just need to pick which one.

Anthony and Landon visited my home for a chimney sweep appointment. They were both so polite and professional. They wore shoe covers and covered their workspace. All of the information they provided was clear and concise. I'd definitely recommend Lords Chimney and am looking forward to working with them in the future.

With the storm that just went through, we called Lords Chimney and Anthony was able to come out on Monday morning (we called Friday morning). He has been to our house before and is always professional courteous and really knows what he’s talking about. When he came today he gave us a breakdown on everything and even tried to fix the cap that flew off, but it was unfixable (which we kind of figured, but appreciated him trying!). Will always recommend Lords and if you can get Anthony you are definitely in the right hands!!!

I left a good review of Codie’s service on 5/2/24. But now another review is warranted . Codie cleaned my dryer vent but noted that they were not very dirty . He inspected further and discovered that the main problem was original install of the venting system years ago . So Cody eliminated a 4” wide 90 Degree elbow . So now a load of clothes that took 50 minutes to dry , now drys in 35 minutes. That’s saving me some . Thank you Cody and Lords Chimney .

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while.

I was very impressed with Jonathan, the technician sent to do the initial visit. From his communication ahead of his visit to his attitude, knowledge and professionalism on site, I have a very high level of confidence in him and your company. This was especially appreciated because we've had a much different experience with other companies.

Solid service like we had today is becoming more and more rare, so I like to give kudos where they are deserved, and he definitely deserved it today. We'll be keeping Lord's on speed dial for all our chimney needs.

Anthony did a great job, he was quick and very responsive also. He did a thorough inspection of the fireplace and went over any problems he found. The report contained several pictures of problem areas in the fireplace and chimney, and the report was emailed to me even before he left. Thank you for your fantastic service.

The technician called and asked if he could come over earlier than my scheduled appointment time which worked out perfectly for me. He entered with the shoe coverings on, and was very professional and quick with his repairs. He also helped me with another fireplace issue that we discovered during his visit. Will definitely use again!!!

Used Lords Chimney to service my gas fireplace which was not working. I called to make an appointment - was 1-2 weeks out, which is as expected. Very nice and professional over the phone. I received a text the morning of my appointment to let me know that they were on the way. The text confirmed the tech's name and had a picture of him, my address, certifications and a little bit about the tech personally - also had a link to track the status of the tech and included a phone # to call or text with questions. I've never received that level of communication for ANY service appointment. Cody arrived at my home with another person. They came in with shoe coverings, we discussed the issue I was having, and then they setup shop at my fireplace. They laid down a clean cloth working tarp - covered a large area. Put their toolbox on it and went to work. They checked everything - pilot, thermocouple, etc. and diagnosed the problem was debris in my pilot assembly. They removed all the fake fireplace logs and vacuumed each one individually to get all the soot off!!! Never expected that - so nice! Also, rearranged by logs to improve airflow and prevent more debris and soot from getting on the pilot light opening. They then vacuumed their tarp and everything around them. Made NO mess at all - which is amazing consider that they were working with a fireplace. Outstanding!!! They were both so nice and professional. I've had previous issues with several other companies that service fireplaces - didn't show, hard to schedule, tech didn't fix the problem, messy, etc.. Lords is hands down the BEST one out there! I will use them going forward and recommend them to anyone.

We just bought our first home and were very excited to use our fireplace this winter. We knew from our home inspection in the buying process that the chimney/fireplace needed a good cleaning and maybe a few small repairs.

We wanted to do a full inspection to ensure maximum quality and safety of the fireplace, so we had Lord’s Chimney come out and take a look. The process with Lord’s Chimney was smooth, easy, and very professional. Our technician Cody was very personable and knowledgeable. He called 30 minutes before arrival, and was efficient. I’ve already recommended to a friend and told them about their tailored service.

We received the unfortunate news that our entire fireplace/chimney is rendered unusable, and if we could afford to replace we would certainly use Lord’s Chimney. We are glad to know the state of our fireplace so that we don’t use it and burn down the house.

Would recommend this company, so very professional . Craig was thorough and clear about what needed doing and talked me through steps with photos taken in and outside my chimney. The two service agents who did the work were friendly, polite and did a most excellent job, showing up when they said they would and leaving everything clean and tidy afterwards. Great job!

We have used Lords Chimney for flue cleaning for wood burning fireplace, repairing ignition on outside gas fireplace, and dryer duct cleaning. Easy and responsive appointment scheduling and great communications on arrival window. Technicians have been knowledgeable, efficient and we like the reports with photos after service completed.
