The work was completed in a timely manner, about one week start to finish. Mr. Parker was a good communicator and the head of his team, Mr. Edgar, was a great on-site help in answering our questions. I'm thankful for your diligent work and am looking forward to walking all over my new paths!

Cross Construction completed a full driveway and front walk removal and reconstruction. They did a very nice job despite there being many rainy days causing delays. They interacted with the city inspector to ensure the job met codes. Parker was readily available to explain the process, answer all of our questions, and was very professional. We wanted to upgrade from a single driveway to a double driveway to accommodate our family. Parker designed it, kept it within our budget and completed the project in a timely manner despite the weather. It was affordable enough to add a patio which my wife truly adores. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with Cross Construction, in fact it was terrible. They were very professional, giving us the quote and we trusted them 100% because it is Cross Construction, which indicated to us they were honest. They replaced our driveway and I will say the workmanship was good. We had our P gravel walkway replaced, they did a good job except for the sourcing of the P gravel, which left rust stains every time it rains. In all fairness, they did try and fix it several times, but as I said earlier every time it rains, the rust comes back. It is worse now more than ever. When people come to our house, they make comments asking what happened, and our neighbor recently asked if we’ve been turned into the HOA? Unfortunately, because they won’t make it right we have to replace the front walkway on our own dime. Every time I walk out front and see the rust I am furious.

CCS and Parker did magnificent work replacing my sidewalk, driveway, patio and patio cover. From planning through completion, every detail mattered and everyone took the time to explain every step, answer every question and even make adjustments along the way. Drainage was a huge issue before and the team did extraordinary work to make sure the new solution solved these problems. They take immense pride in their work and it shows. I highly recommend them to anyone considering new concrete or new patio covers. The result is amazing and I can now enjoy spaces that I couldn't before. Everything was easy thanks to CCS and Parker. I am extremely happy with the service they provided and with the results. What's here now greatly increases the value of my property and I know it is going to last.

Cross construction did an awesome job in replacing my driveway. I have put picture down of the completed driveway as well as old picture showing how bad it was. I am very pleased with Mr. Moore. The whole process was explained to me. The crew showed up on time to get started on the teardown and hauled it all the way. Cross Construction services did superb work replacing our 60-year-old driveway, sidewalk, patio and installing new patio cover. Many thanks to Parker for explaining the project in detail to my wife and myself and importantly inviting us to his home for showing the patio cover and driveway that CCS constructed so that we can visualize the final product. Parker also helped in obtaining both city and HOA permits for this project. The CCS team is very responsible and did extraordinary work to complete the project near perfect that not only provided a new-clean-look but also fixed stagnant water issue after rain. We highly recommend them to anyone considering replacing driveway or installing patio cover. My husband and I recently relocated to the Katy area from Pittsburgh and needed a general contractor to update and repair several things around our house (20 year old home that had not had much upkeep or updates in the last 5 to 7 years). After being referred to Miguel by a work colleague, we worked with Miguel on a long list of projects - painting the entire house (including all the painstaking work on the trim, crown moldings, and railings), installing and replacing light fixtures and fans, repairing and painting built in shelving and office nook, repairing scratches in the hardwood flooring, fixing electrical outlets and installing new GFCI outlets, installing new hot water tanks, replacing the broken water softener system, repairing the broken irrigation system, running a new water line for the pool auto fill (so that water from the water softener wasn’t used to fill the pool!), and adding new insulation to the attic.

Miguel and his business partner, Rene, also added a smart home / entertainment system (Control4) to the house that is truly top of the line and makes living in our new home so enjoyable and will be wonderful for when we host family and friends - speakers throughout the house for music and broadcasting sporting events, smart TVs, surround sound for our game room, lighting controls, garage door controls, and room to expand to add other smart home features in the future.

Not only did we have a huge project list for Miguel, but we also had a tight timeline for completing a significant chunk of the work before we moved in. Miguel met all our timelines and his crew was flexible working around us to complete the projects after we moved in.

Throughout the entire process, Miguel was very responsive and professional and became a trusted advisor for all things related to our home projects - Miguel’s crew does excellent work and we know it’s being done the right way. We also appreciate that Miguel will also be honest and frank with us when we come to him with an idea - we know he’ll tell us if there is a more cost efficient way to accomplish what we want (while still doing it the right way), and he will tell us if there is a better way to do something.

If you have any sort of construction or remodeling project, we would definitely recommend Miguel and Mendiola Remodeling & Construction. We’ve done other renovation projects at our our prior home, but Miguel is by far the best contractor we’ve worked with. We will definitely be asking him to come back when we’re ready to renovate our kitchen and bathrooms and he will be our go to for any other remodeling or smart home projects that come up.

Miguel is very professional and responsive. I had no issues with any of his crew members who have done a wonderful job with the roof, fascia exterior repairs, and painting the whole exterior of my home. In August, we hired Mendiola Remodeling for painting our stucco house. The painter very detailed in his work. My house looks beautiful and the paint used was high quality. We are very happy with Mendiola Remodeling and will use them again.

The owner Miguel is very professional, personable and transparent with everything. We hired them to remodel our bathroom as it had a leak, not only did they fix the piping and corrected existing issues, they did an amazing job of getting the job done right. Very happy and pleased with their services.

Mendiola Remodeling is simply the best. We were new to Katy and Miguel and his crew were recommended to us by our realtor. They built an addition onto our patio and added recessed lighting and ceiling fans. They built a pad for our new therapeutic jacuzzi and a door to access it from the master bedroom. All their work is done to perfection at an affordable price. Miguel has a eye for detail and design and all of his suggestions were spot on. Our outdoor patio is beautiful and ready for grilling and football season. In addition to building our outdoor patio, they painted our interior, replaced toilets, hung new lights, built in a wine refrigerator in our butler pantry and built in a drawer microwave. Sitting in my jacuzzi, I decided I needed a new fence to go with my beautiful patio and he did that too. And of course, it was done to perfection and will outlast any storm we might have. I saved the best for last, Miguel also helped us design and build our bourbon/wine room. We took a bedroom and put down wood floor, wood accent on a wall, recess lighting, directional lighting, wine racks, bourbon racks, antlered chandelier and an 8-foot glass door. It was something we had wanted for a long time and Miguel made it happened. I have referred him to others and he does not disappoint. Miguel and company is great to work with.

Mendiola remodeling did an awesome job!! They remodeled my bathroom from a tub to a walkin bathroom and they did everything they said they would do. They alway cleaned up at the end of the day. The crew was very courteous and respectful!! I highly recommend them!

We wanted to completely gut half of the first story and make the kitchen, dining, and breakfast rooms into one big open space. However we had
a bad experience with contractors in the past and were very hesitant on starting a new project. We met with Miguel, who by the way was the only one out of 5 contractors to call and say he is on his way instead of just show up couple of hours later like the rest of them. He listened to us took our requests made some suggestions and together we came up with the final design. He made some great recomendations and saved us from making costly mistakes.
Once the work started I knew I have picked the right person for the job. We did live in the house throughout the entire remodel. His guys were very professional and respectful of our house. At the end of every day they will clean up after themselves, pick up their tools and remove all the garbage form the yard. Miguel would often stop by, check on the progress and chat with us about the process and if we had any concerns. He even rolled his sleeves and helped his guys with the framing on a Saturday.
The remodel was done a week ahead of the schedule. All the work is really high quality, finishes are spotless and we have and amazing kitchen.
We will only be using Mendiola Remodeling & Construction for all our future projects!!!

We tore our house down to the studs to change the whole layout. Miguel was able to reimagine the layout in a way that blew my mind. His crews work exceeded all my expectations. The finishes in my house are incredibly high end down to every little detail. The men who work for Miguel are hard working, honest, respectful, and friendly. They came to feel like family. Miguel was easy to work with. He works very hard to keep the line of communication open. When we did butt heads occasionally, he worked hard to get everything worked out. He treats clients like family. I am so happy with the finished product!!!!

We had a bad experience with the work done after Harvey and were very skeptical about trusting another contractor to do the job right. When we met Miguel, it didn't take long to realize he was the right fit. He is very professional, personable and knowledgeable when it comes to helping with design possibilities.
