I moved to Houston several years ago with my heart set on having a home. My family took me to see some of Mayberry model homes and from that first visit within a year my home was built.
I now live in a beautiful home built by Mayberry Homes.

I’m a 1st time home buyer and my experience at Mayberry Homes was anything but easy. My realtor, lender and myself shared the same disbelief. Throughout my experience I learned to keep receipts and make a paper trail. Be ready for the unexpected and Spend the extra money to hire a private inspector through the entire phase of the build as I did. Although my home came out to be beautiful, I wouldn’t recommend the company because of what I had to deal with. Still waiting on corrections to be made from a 1 year walk thru (March2022).

Mayberry reached out to me personally after the previous post above to address my concerns. He sent out his contractors to fix the cosmetic/electrical issues. Overall I’m happy that we were able to get the issues resolved.

Had an issue with the a/c, Mayberry took care of it right away.

So where to start, I’m currently renting a home, from Mayberry homes, of course the landlord and the management company which is Womack development obviously clear conflict of interest, first mind you I’ve lived in the home for 4 months,

Before I moved into the home they gave me a list of issues that were going to be resolved before I moved in. I’m now 4 months into the lease, not only were the tasks that were supposed to be completed before I moved in not done. I have so many new issues that yet to still be addressed,

the landlord doesn’t not communicate with the tenants, wants you to keep paying the rent but feels like they can be negligent in taking care of the things that need to be fixed in the home for the paying tenant. Some of those are for my safety on the property I’ve been expressing these concerns the who lease term. I was then called by the management company, a Mr Mayberry feels that since I had an attitude with the unfair, unprofessional, just plain sad treatment from a so called management company, states that I can move that day???

Why is a management company, who oversees the land lord’s property telling me a paying tenant, trying to bully me to leave because I’m requesting the tasks that were
supposed to be complete before move in????? I’ve reached out to the landlord as to why the contract or lease is being breached by her management company,???? Still no answers landlord is negligent running a slum lord operation. Also after dealing with the issues in the home, the safety hazards I’ve addressed they offered to compensate me 50 dollars??? What a joke. All I can say is this this is the treatment for a paying up to date tenant could you imagine if I was late!!

ALL I CAN SAY IS STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANYTHING BEING OFFERED BY THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY THE SAME MANAGEMENT COMPANY THAT DOESN'T KEEP ELECTRICITY ON THERE PROPERTY, I literally did a walk through the property with my iPhone light!!!! If that doesn’t tell you anything I don’t know what will but STAY CLEAR THIS IS A SCAM BUSINESS PROVIDING NOT EVEN MEDIOCRE SERVICE!!!!

I have been in my new home for 6 months now! I love Mr. Mayberry ... he is very serious about his business. There are a few things that I am not pleased with but I will address them at my 1 year review but for the most part the architecture, thought and beautification of my new home is to be praised! I would recommend Mr. Mayberry and Mayberry Homes to a friend.

While there were some challenges faced during the building process, the team at Mayberry Homes has always stood by their work and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done to my satisfaction. While encountering challenges during the construction of a new home is not uncommon, it is the approach by the builder taken to address these challenges that can ultimately determine a buyers experience. Effective problem-solving and resolution is where Mayberry excels. I can truly rate them 5 stars.

One thing that impressed me about Mayberry Homes is Mr. Mayberry himself. He is Kind and professional, and cares about his work.

Driver in truck #22 on greenhouse at 4pm On 8/4/2020 swerving between lanes and being a reckless driver in busy traffic. Do not recommend.
