Had severe emergency when a tree toppled over from strong winds on Thanksgiving evening causing breakage of the conduit containing the electric wires connected to my home. He was very gracious to come by early the next morning to repair the system quickly in bad weather, including reinstallation on a 22 foot tall ladder to reattach to the electricity pole. He and his wife deserve a gold star! Will definitely use them again for any electrical issues.

Needed to get a 48/60A installed into my detached garage for my electric car charger. The breaker box is placed on the direct opposite side of the house. Other electrician suggested digging underground to reach the garage and costed much more. Tam and his wife managed to get this done without needing to dig, but go into the attic to the garage using the walkway roofing to channel the wire. It was seamless, practically unnoticeable to the naked eye. This had to be the one of their finest work and truly appreciate their kindness and diligence to providing impeccable quality and service.

Tom repaired my dryer outlet and replaced my breaker box. They did an outstanding job and the price was the best I’d had been quoted by several companies. Please call them and give them your business, they are amazing ❤️

Called and got a quick response. Free estimate on work needed to be done. Very satisfied with knowledge, price and fixing the intermittent problem. We were also told of wires being burnt in our breaker box. We replaced this also. After receiving two other estimates that we did have to pay for from large electrical companies we decided to go with Action and are very glad we did. Not only did we save money we were only without power a couple of hours. Would recommend to anyone needing electrical work.

Action Electric earns my highest praise. They are friendly, trustworthy, honest, expert, efficient, experienced. They do top-notch work at a fair price. They care supremely about their customers. I am 62 and have hired many contractors over the years. The Action Electric team ranks among the best. For us, they replaced an outdoor panel, installed surge protection, installed a new grounding rod, installed a chandelier, and more for a recent project. They are gracious, polite, respectful, and always helpful. Their attention to detail is impressive. They are a joy to work with.

They are amazing. They wired our generator during the winter storm. They stood in Home Depots long long long lines to get the parts, explained what we should and should not do with the generator. Now the whole house can run expect for stove, ac, and dryer, because we need a larger generator. I really appreciate them!

I've called Action Electric Co. and spoke with Tam about installing interlock/inlet post hurricane Beryl. Him and his wife showed up on time and carried out the job professionally on the same day. He went above and beyond to ensure that the inlet and breaker were installed neatly below the electric meter. His work demonstrated the passion that he has for the trade. Will definately call Tam again for my electrical needs.

After a recent thunderstorm we had an emergency electrical situation at our house. Action Electric were here within an hour, explained all of our options and completed the repair immediately. If you want affordable and efficient work I would not look anywhere else.

Found Mr. Tam on Google based on stellar reviews since we’re new to the neighborhood. Called for an estimate on a ceiling fan installation, door bell installation (new wire, since there wasn’t one existing, I provided the doorbell and chime box), and a junction box for a floodlight camera installation. He and his wife/apprentice came by within next hour and provided us with a quote. Very affordable! They were able to complete everything within a few hours. They were very nice and helpful. Also gave us some great tips! Will definitely be calling them for our next electrical service!

Came home Sunday and our A/C unit was out. Had HVAC out and they identified the issue as electrical. Found Action Electric online and made a call. They were over within the hour and our problem was fixed within 30 minutes. Friendly and great service! I will definitely be using them again should the need arise in the future.

This company does fantastic electric work and the pricing is very fair. They showed up the same morning we called to see if they could help us. Spent all day doing work that we need done. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work. Very skilled and knowledgeable.

Action Electric went above and beyond to help determine the cause of our electrical issues. They came out on multiple occasions (once staying after 9pm) to make sure CenterPoint was honest and doing all they can to fix the problem. Our issue took 4 different CenterPoint crews to figure out and fix- Tom and his wife were there every step of the way (either in person or on the phone) making sure CenterPoint was doing all they could. The issue was resolved with the help of Tom and his wife. We also had Action Electric do some updates before the upcoming hurricane season- they were great and very reasonably priced. 100% recommend to anyone in need of an honest, trustworthy electrician.

Let me say that this couple was God sent. After having a major problem with a Electrician guy and he should not have started the job. This couple I found on Google came to my moms house and fix the problem and within 24 hours we have electricity back in the house. They explained the process from getting the permit, inspection and all the requirements. I will definitely recommend this the couple. They are professional, trustworthy and most importantly they are really just a good hearted people who love what they do. Thank you. God bless!

If there was an Oscar for customer service, Tom and his wife should be giving their acceptance speech. To give you a breakdown of how amazing their response was... Called at 730am. The pricing was provided upfront and in a clear easy to understand manner. They arrived by 815am (on time to the minute). Not only were they able to diagnose the problem quickly but the entire time they provided education on what caused it, how to fix it, and prevent it in the future. Also checked the rest of the home for safety issues, as well as, resolved two small issues that have been lingering for years. They finished their work quickly, efficiently, AND put everything back in the manner they found it.

Hiring an electrician is nerve racking because you never know whether the company is honest. You are at a disadvantage because you mostly do not know whether you are being told the truth or taken for a ride. I’m very happy with this couple. I called them around 1pm on 5/22 and they showed up two hours later to check the problem we were having with our ground wire and gave us an estimate. They offer very good pricing and fast service! They scheduled an appointment for us on 5/23 at 9 and they were prompt! They were done in about 3 hours. 10/10 customer service and we will be using them again for all our electrical needs. Please consider using them for yours!
