I’m a realtor & I run a small business as well .
I want to thank Petra flooring for my wonderful experience with them .
2 years ago ,I bought from them nice bathroom tile but I was really stupid hiring a cheap tile installer that really did job .
So in January 2020 I remodeled my kitchen ,& I decided to contact a big contractor, I received several bids & I choose Petra not because they were the cheapest(they ere in between) but because they guaranteed their work & they promessed they will not leave until we are happy .

So Ms Susan ,the sales lady in the office is always nice & took us to many show rooms to choose the material & she is extremely patient & helpfull.
But I wanted to present a nice & honest opinion about Nick ,I really loved his honesty & kindness & sincerely He is humain before anything,I mean for h money comes last & in our days it’s very hard to find .
He was extremely nice ,professional & on top of every crew he sent. I even had a very late delivery but a cabinet company that missed up the whole sccedulle but he still did not give up on me on worked with me to finish my project.
My wife is not easy to please ,but she loves the new kitchen & fire place & even helped fixed other things .

I can’t say thank you enough ,but I think nick is an exceptional person & businessman 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Absolutely loved working with Sam and his crew. He is extremely courteous and easy to work with, and the quality of his work is simply outstanding. I love my floors! They did my brothers floors and they look great as well. I highly recommend them!!!

Very easy to work with. My wife stopped in one Afternoon, spoke to owner's son. They had emailed estimate by days end.
Scheduled installation two week's out.
Installers were professional and did a great job.

For the last 3 years, we had 4 busted tiles in our kitchen floor that was driving my wife and I crazy. Unfortunately, the tiles were discontinued and we could not find it anywhere. Since that happened, we always felt we wanted to change the flooring on our first floor anyway. The first floor had a combination of carpet, tile, and wood for each room. In my opinion, it was gross. However, we received a good recommendation from a friend to called Nick.

He came to the house and immediately knew what caused the tiles to buckle and break. It was a lack of thinset mortar. After he measured our living area, my wife showed Nick the few selections we liked. But, we did not know which way to go. He took his time in educating us on our selections and provided us with other selections with better quality. After several trips, we finally made a decision on our flooring selection. He provided us a time line of the project and the cost of the materials. A few days later, Nick and his crew were off to the races. He and his crew were always on time, considerate of my work at home situation, and professional at all times. They never missed any details when installing our new flooring. For example, one of the planks of wood was slightly damaged and was not noticeable (at least in my eyes). Well, he removed the damaged plank and installed a new one. It was flawless.

Hands down! If you want you flooring done right-call Nick. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and provides awesome customer service.

WE ARE THRILLED WITH OUR FLOORS!

My husband and I walked into the small unassuming shop; right away we noticed that Sam was different than the sales person/manager in the 6 or 8 other shops we visited in a two-day span. Sam was attentive, knowledgeable at the same time not pushy. We started by purchasing a modest amount of shower/bathtub tiles and bathroom counter from Sam. Then we bought a larger amount of floor tiles. We were more impressed with Sam's service and pricing with each additional purchase. Unfortunately, we contracted a GC for the installation already. I wished we had Sam install them instead. Our final large purchase was two slabs of granite for our kitchen. Petra did the install. Sam made certain that we were happy at each stage of purchase and installation. Petra and Sam has been one of few happy spots during this Harvey induced renovation. If I had to do it all over again, I would have go straight to Sam for every bit of flooring, tiling, and counter work, material and installation. I think I will be heading to Sam for some blinds and window covering soon. Just love the place.

Petra Flooring did a great job installing hardwood floors and carpeting. Their service was prompt and well executed. We are very happy with their services and will certainly connect with them again when we need new flooring or carpeting again. All around great service!

We ordered motorized Hunter Douglas shades and Sunland Poly Shutters from Petra. The process could not be any smoother. First, Sam is very knowledgeable. He is most willing to answer all of your questions and give you advice on what to do. On top of the shades and shutters I ordered, we wanted to do some new flooring. We have a newly built house and there was an area that had new carpet, but we wanted wood floors instead. Sam actually advised us to use the carpet for now since it’s new and do the wood floors down the road when the carpet looks a bit old. Who in this time gives advice that would actually make him lose business!!! This showed me that Sam only tells you what he thinks is right, no matter if it causes him to lose your business. From that moment I trusted him. I also checked the prices of the shades and shutters at other certified dealers of Hunter Douglas, and his price was by far the best. His installers are great as well. Go with Petra and will not regret it. They genuinely care about their customers.

I used Petra's flooring services twice and both times received high quality results. The work was done in time and with a good attention to customer's needs. I liked the transparency and accuracy of the pricing terms as well. The quotes were competitive and very favorable for me being a loyal customer. I was satisfied with Petra's services and will use them again in my new home this time.

Karim and his team were excellent! We obtained estimates from several highly rated companies for the same carpet. His pricing was very reasonable and their installation of new carpet for 2nd floor was perfect! They cleaned up and vacuumed each area afterwards and made sure we were completely satisfied with theor work. We would highly recommend them for any carpeting needs.

I had new floors installed, and Petra came through! They removed the old floors in one day, installed the new (living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, two landings, three staircases) in two days. My house looks like a new house now. Thank you!! Looking forward to future projects!

We had an issue with some shades and Kareem went far above and beyond the call of duty to address it. Their customer service and satisfaction are not only there during the purchase of the product or service but far beyond and across its entire lifecycle. The company helped us with remodeling. The jobs were done professionally in a timely manner upon agreed price. Kareem was not only patient, he listened and satisfied customers’ needs beyond expectation. We were impressed with his service! Highly recommend!

We recently had wood flooring and Porcelain installed in our home. I was unsure how to match an existing wood. Kareem was an expert and unlike others got back to us promptly. He brought sample’s to match our stone fireplace without us having to shop around. All the workers, Miguel Paco, Louis and Jose were pleasant to work with. I will always return to use Petra as our floor company…awesome service.

Petra Flooring did amazing job with our wood floors. Their recommendations to us about choosing the floor type were very accurate. They were punctual and finished the job on time. The floors looks amazing. We are very happy working with them and highly recommend. Djamal and Nader are very kind and professional. They are cooperative to make us happy.

I got carpet installed by Petra Flooring. I came in an spoke with Sam. He answered all the questions and was able to give estimates. I then went to check out other competitors like Home Depot, Robert's Carpets, but Petra Flooring offered the best all inclusive price with NO hidden fees. They wont nickel and dime you. Sam promised carpet would come in 5-7 days and they would be able to install the next day. He delivered on his promised and now I am enjoying my new carpet. I highly recommend. Sam is easy going and great to work with. The process was smooth. I will be back for more flooring needs.

I came in about a month after the hurricane needing tile in one room. Sam, the manager, came to my home immediately and gave me an estimate better than other companies. In fact, Floors for Living also came to give me an estimate, which was higher and, in addition, Floors for Living never returned my calls or emails. In contrast, Petra set up a time after the tile arrived via shipping and on the morning of installation. Nick, the owner, came out to look things over and assure all was good on the day of installation (Saturday). The guys did a great job and worked all day, including removing a toilet, and placing it back to be sure the tile looked great; Not every company will do this. We had a little glitch in scheduling the second day when they had to apply grout, but they came out, finished the job in about 45 min, cleaned up, and I got my room back! Overall, great and personable people there,; I would hire them again in a second!!!

Just completed my second installation with Sam and Petra and, as before, they were GREAT! Came out to my home the same day I visited Sam at Petra, gave me several options to think about, and correctly estimated the time frame for the job. Simply a pleasure working with Sam and his team! Courteous, great prices, cleaned up completely, and outstanding work. I wish I had done this sooner. Very, very happy with my new living room floor!

Nick and his team did a great job installing our flooring for our bedroom. We had a difficult transition between rooms which he solved. Looks great.

He is very knowledgeable and professional. It is rare to come across a great contractor these days. Nick was clear on what would be done, how it was going to be done and he did what he said at a fair price.

We were remodeling a commercial storefront and decided to upgrade the floors from an old ceramic tile to vinyl plank and originally were going to do the job ourselves and buy the flooring from Lowe’s or Home Depot…thank goodness we didn’t because not only did we get a superior product by speaking with Karim at Petra Flooring but he educated us that we should have his team do the installation in order to get the floor perfectly level before installing the flooring. I am so incredibly thankful that we chose Petra and their incredible installation team as the job was done perfectly and professionally and expeditiously and exceeded expectations by a longshot. The flooring transformed our space and the installation job was perfect as we do not hear any hollow spots!!! Thank you Petra!!

Very happy with how our bathroom countertop turned out!! The whole process was quick and professional.

When we were looking for a company to replace our old carpet with laminate floor, we discovered Petra Flooring and decided to give it a try. Nick's team did a wonderful job. They kept our house clean and covered all areas to prevent damage and dust. Six months passed and we have absolutely no issues with our floors. Quality of their work is evident.
I would highly recommend Nick and we will trust Petra our new home projects.

Replaced the carpet in our master bedroom with matching vinyl throughout the rest of the house. Nick and Kareem were attentive to all of my questions and concerns. They sourced the vinyl out of state and then worked with us on moving some furniture so we could paint while the new vinyl was adapting to our house environment. Two days later, Polo and a helper came and removed the old carpet (and disposed of it) and installed the matching vinyl. The look is seamless, they helped me move the furniture back and they made sure to clean up afterwards. Amazing service! I can't wait to replace more carpet in the rest of the house!!
