I’m so enthused about the service that I’d received from Team HBC Inc. My home had to be renovated. I was led to Team HBC Inc. by a very good friend of mine that was very satisfied by the job “well-done!” by Team HBC Inc. When I was shown around my friend’s home—I knew right then and there that my mind was made up to go forward with Team HBC. Anyone looking for a new home and/renovation to be done...this is the place!

Very nice properties and love my rental home. New appliances very fast and simple process. The neighborhood is quiet as I was told!! If you need a place I highly Recommend coming here. You’ll get your dream home ASAP and it will be as you imagined.

After having an awful experience and firing my general contractor (that shall remain nameless) I was referred to HBC, Inc. My job starting moving a very rapid pace. If I was told the painter was coming they would be there. HE WAS VERY HONEST!!! His customer service was impeccable. I couldn’t have asked for more. I would highly recommend HBC.

I spend every day watched our home go up day by day after each work day, from start to finish, and it was exciting and a great experience in a life time for me. With all the trials that have recently plagued our city it is great to know that there are still honest, dependable and hard working contractors to rely on!!! Team HBC came in and saved the day, they did a remarkable job on my project and I would recommend them a million times over!!!

Quality built homes. My home was built 8 years ago and I am just as in love with it today as I was then. Special attention to detail and a master mindset given to each inch of the homes built by the company. I highly recommend the Contractor for new homes as well as remodeling as he has an eye all contruction projects. Very satisfied customer.

Hurricane Harvey destroyed the entire lower level of my grandmothers home and we were at a total loss, having never had to deal with contractors before; Nearly everything had to be torn down!! We were referred to Team Home Builders not knowing what to expect and found the most professional group of individuals, from their administrative staff to the work crews!!! They have done a great job and will be our #1 choice for any future jobs or referrals!!! Thanks Team Hbc ☺️

Honestly I absolutely love the home that team HBC built, such a practical and well thought home. This is company that pays attention to the small details for sure and their customer service is incredible. Anything you need Team HBC will get done for you, absolutely how involved the owner is in all his work as well. Overall 5 star builder for sure!

It was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I closed and received the home of my dreams one month ahead of schedule on 9/28/22. The owner assured me that we would be moving in just in time for Thanksgiving and he kept his word. He is a true innovative visionary who puts out high quality work, I highly recommend. I had a project that quickly turned bad and Team HBC was able to turn it around for me. The staff was professional and very responsive. The client is beyond happy with their new home. Not only did the client get more than they expected I gained a mentor and friend for life.

Team HBC is the most reliable, honest and professional company that I've comeacross while going through this tragedy that Hurricane Harvey left Houston. They showed up and started the rebuild on our home way ahead of time. (I am waiting on the specifications sheet if the work/upgrades that was put into our home. I hope to receive it ASAP!) Requested this over two weeks ago!

This neighborhood company is a horrible neighbor!

So I love the house I bought from Team HBC, but there are quite a few issues too. Their home warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on! I had a lot of difficulties getting anything fixed… they did the absolute minimum and didn’t cover quite a few things that SHOULD have been covered. They left building fines/liens against the property that I am just now finding out about… within a year both my back porch and driveway developed HUGE cracks, my closets and drawers upstairs gather humidity like it’s their job, the flooring is cheap as heck (chipping if you look at it hard), and today I had to shell out another $1000 because the siding on the house is warping/peeling away from the structure (a very common thing on HBC houses after about a year and I’ll need to pay another $400 for them to caulk/seal/paint the nail holes and any space underneath when they come back next week).

Again… I love my house and Yesenia in the office is AMAZING… but I wish the company itself would stand by their warranties and their work. (Then I would be happy to recommend them.)

New construction home with tons of ISSUES!!!

Jordan was not very professional on our phone conversations when I was under contract for my house. He used profanity, rushed me and was very negative.
A week after I bought the house piece on the garage door opener broke. I called & he said he would come fix it, but never did.
The dry wall has bumps in it in every room, there is grout spilled & hardened in the master shower & sink.
The external GFCI outlets on the porch & patio broke a month after I moved it.
There is no water hose faucet in the back yard. I have to run my hose from the front of the house, along the side and over the fence to water my garden.
A year after I bought the house had a major leak in the roof I had to get repaired out of my pocket. The roofer told me there was a whole in the roof unsealed with a shingle over it. That’s why my inspector missed it.
And now my latest problem a year & a half in is that my furnace isn’t working in the middle of winter! The heat kit breaker needs to be replaced on the furnace because the voltage doesn’t match what’s on the breaker box!!
I am super frustrated with all of these problems & btw the warranty company won’t fix the furnace.
I bought the house brand new because I didn’t want to deal with issues & repairs but that’s all I’ve been dealing with since I moved it.
I would not recommend anyone buy one of these properties. I certainly will not be in the future!

I purchased one of their new construction homes in 2023 and I regret ever making this purchase. Their warranty notification process is poor with no way streamlining completed or pending repairs. Their workmanship is subpar since I’m experiencing several sheetrock cracks and splits toilet cracks, stair case
separation from the walls as a result of failing foundation. The foundation warranty company and builder have both been notified. However, to date they have refused to correct and repair the issue.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE PURCHASE ONE of TEAM HBC HOMES. It’s one thing to build a cheaply built product. But their homes price are not cheap and the support you receive is completely unacceptable. I regret ever stepping foot in my home to ultimately purchase it. I encourage anyone considering Team HBC to do your research. I sure regret I didn’t do enough.

January 2026 Foundation Update: After the foundation warranty company finally approved the claim to repair my foundation. Upon them tunnel Ming my home it was discovered the foundation was poured inadequately because the builder failed to follow the plans by installing only 2 grade beams (there should be at least 12). This I’m sure if this fact is not thr cause of my foundation failing it definitely contributed to the fact it has since these beams are load bearing.

Please please do not purchase a property from this builder since they are negligent and irresponsible.

We bought a house back in 2024 in June and ever since we have always had problems with getting contractors out to fix issues that came originally with the house. It was either the contractors came, walked around, touch some things and said they will come back a later time or they would say everything is functioning as is. Usually when they come back, they will say the same thing. There appears to be some communication problem with the contractors and team HBC because they never know what’s going on in regards to both sides. Team HBC would say the contractors will come on a certain day, but when the day comes, the contractor does not arrive and even team HBC does not even know their situation. I feel like I’m dealing with a clueless company. We are very busy people, and we only have a limited amount of time to reserve for these contractors to come, and when these contractors don’t come it affects our schedule and time. It’s baffling to see how they managed to keep above four star rating on their service is one star. I still have issues from the day. I got my house that also showed up on the annual house inspection and we are going into our second year of living in the house.

We closed on our home in June 2024, and since then the experience dealing with repairs has been incredibly frustrating. The issues that were present from day one are still not fixed, and we’re now approaching our second year living here. Contractors are constantly being scheduled and then either cancel last-minute or simply don’t show up. On the rare occasions they do come, they look around for a few minutes and leave without actually addressing anything. We’re told they’ll return, but when they come back, the outcome is the same—nothing gets done.

The communication between Team HBC and their contractors is honestly the biggest problem. One side says one thing, the other side has no idea what’s going on, and we’re stuck in the middle trying to figure out who is responsible for what. We’re busy people with tight schedules, so having to rearrange our time for appointments that end up being pointless is extremely inconvenient and disrespectful of our time.

What’s most disappointing is that the same issues were documented during our annual inspection, which just proves nothing has been resolved since the beginning. With all of this, I truly don’t understand how this company maintains such a high rating. Based on our experience, it’s nowhere near four stars.
