Wasn’t even doing work in my yard but felt the need to jump over my fence make a mess in my yard, drag limbs across the side of my house and just walk wherever they wanted too. Do not use them and if you have a problem with anything you cannot get ahold of them on the phone.

    BDG TREES
    05/02/19
They are working on Tulane Rd between Hwy 62 and old Hwy 90. The street always had a nice calming effect when you were driving down it. Now it looks like somebody that does not know how to trim came thru. The trees look chopped up like a child that doesn’t know how to follow lines. Or a teenager who was given the trimming trees s a punishment, and said I will do this so it looks bad. In spots they are taking both lane of the road. I would not hire them to do anything.

If I could give a zero I would.

Do NOT use BDG Trees. I called my electric company Entergy. About trees that needed to be cut before falling on lines. They sent this company out They showed up after a month. When cutting the limbs from the tree they Just dropped them on the road and on my driveway. Breaking 2 of the 4 culverts under my concrete driveway. Our neighborhood had been flooded by Harvey 4 foot of water in our homes. and after going thru this we are scared of flooding again. It was predicted for heavy rain. These guys left the trees in the ditch and the broken culvert. Was blocking drainage in the ditch. The road and bridge supervisor came out and took out the broken culverts and took all of the peices of trees out of the ditch. I called BDG back to my house for Him to look at what they did and he blamed it on the county. I have pictures and video of what it looked like. Today I received a letter from BDG stating they will not replace my culverts. I also filed 2 complaints thru entergy. So in future let the trees fall on all the lines and let Entergy deal with that. Instead of dealing with a man who continually said he was a Christian. I am always Leary of people what start telling me they are a Christian. Hmmmm. They are NOT.

Very unprofessional. On 2 separate occasions left large piles of debris in my yard. Called several times to the office, no return calls. Finally had to call the city to have them come remove the trees they, BDG, had left behind.

Someone at this company has stolen my identity and obtained false employment.
I will be calling all federal agencies and social security administrations. I received a tax return to my residence stating that I’ve earned over 20000 with this company. I’ve never trimmed a tree in my life.
I’d recommend that whoever is in charge of this company obtain some type of legal defense.

I didn't hire this company. Entergy apparently did. They are doing work trimming trees on the lot next door. This did not stop them from coming on my property and stacking large piles of limbs in my front yard and on my wife's plants. We tried talking to them about this and they said they would clean it up tomorrow. In to day 2, and they told us that it would not be today. I would give 0 stars if I could. Waiting on a call back from the foreman. I may even call Entergy about this if not resolved.

They destroyed our trees. They did not ask permission to come onto our property marked as no trespassing..Some branches were cut down to 1-2 ft long..some leaving widow maker branches hanging. Other trees (that weren't even in the way) were cut completely to the ground. They even tore up the saplings (not cut down..like someone was just playing with the chainsaw) Our giant oak tree had every single branch removed all the way around it..leaving a literal 40ft "stick" in the ground. They hopped the chained gate also labeled no trespassing and were hanging out on the phone near my storage area and I asked them to stop cutting the trees that weren't a danger. They said ok and as soon as I walked away, they kept cutting. A huge mess was left along the entire front side of our land. The chipper stopped before our property and started back up at the end of our property leaving the huge mess out front in the drainage ditch. My husband thinks it was because they were mad at me for getting onto them. 2 calls to their corporate office and 5 hrs later a supervisor came out and said it would be handled. The men came back and threw ALL of the branches back onto our side of the fence and drove away. If you drove down our road, you can see we aren't the only places they mangled. My fil does this for a living and was shocked at the damage they caused to our trees. Horrible company.

Entergy hired these jokes to trim trees around our power lines in Louisiana. Last year they dropped limbs on my shed, damaging the roof and breaking the vent, and then claimed they didn't do it. This year they left piles of debris in my yard and behind my shed. The best part of the whole situation is that the trees look butchered now, and the trees in my neighbors back yards are STILL TOUCHING THE POWER LINES. I personally would not hire them to trim bushes, much less trees. What a joke of a business.

They came on my property without permission and destroyed my tree,Spoke to the gentleman parked in my front yard they said that they would get somebody to come to my house, tried to call the corporate office in Houston never could get anyone to answer. Next day somebody came out ask him why they cut my trees so far back he said that’s just the way they did it have to keep it off of the power lines tell me what you think maybe a little overkill. This company should not be cutting trees maybe working in a butcher shop but not cutting trees. If they are going to continue trimming trees like this in the China Texas area they need to go ahead and either reshape the tree or cut it down This should never be done without the homeowners consent in the first place.

Workers are trimming trees down 242. Never fontacted the homeowner to block the driveway for an hour, blocking deliveries, and my wife from getting to the house. Tried to talk to the employees and they had no cluebwhat i was saying.

    ZERO STARS!!!
BDG is contracted by Entergy, my power company to trim limbs away from power lines.
BDG Trees caused major property damage.
Wayne from BDG and his crew did not obtain permission to be on my property prior to "clearing limbs from power lines".
They did not just clear limbs, they unnecessarily cut down many small trees, trees that could not have been tall enough to reach the power lines.
BDG broke my gate to get into the area where the power lines are (unnecessary as the gate is big enough for a truck to go thru and it was unlocked).
BDG disturbed a mated pair of turtles, possible running over and crushing their eggs,
BDG disturbed a birds nest with 2 eggs in it, it now only has one egg, the other was thrown from the nest.
To leave my fenced in property, BDG did not go out the same gate they broke to come in, the drove over another part of my fence, breaking and pulling down posts. The left fence wire strewn all over the area, which I did not see, stepped in and hurt my ankle.
BDG also ate their lunch in my yard, and left their trash, which was quickly becoming new housing for an ant bed.

Let me add in an update: SIX FEET. That is the allotted amount of space required for lines. They’re not allowed to trim PAST six feet. They attempted to chop at the TOP of my old live oak, and when confronted, had excuses such as “entergy requires ten, then twenty”. (Health and Safety Code, Chapter 752) DONT LET THESE MONSTERS DESTROY YOUR TREES. Stand up to them. As soon as he realized I wasn’t going to back down and offered to have an Officer come out and explain the codes, they stopped cutting. SIX FEET. THATS it.

They’re who is hired by Entergy to remove limbs and such for power lines. They’re not actual tree service professionals (arborists), if they were they wouldn’t hack trees and injure them beyond repair for anything (including power lines). Entergy needs to learn to move lines around trees instead of through them. Don’t hire these “professionals” if you have long lived trees that need proper care. They’re currently deciding if unbalancing a GIANT 150+ oak tree is beneficial to power lines. The limb in question is OVER 2-3 feet wide. Entergy ran lines AROUND the limb, so as the limb grew it’s now pressing the lines. So if they do this they’ll be putting my home at risk, and in doing so, my children. Aside from that, they’ve taken away native habitat for animals that have thrived here for years. It’s tragic. Photo added of their enthralling decision making process and the limb in question.

They also made a HUGE mess and didn’t clean it up. See attached photos.

My trash can needed to be moved so the flatbed truck could unload a piece of equipment. But, they put the trash can in our ditch so the garbage truck could not get to it. When they packed up to leave I saw that the trash can was still in the ditch! They made no effort to put it back and worse, the garbage was not picked up. I have garbage that must remain in the can we in south Louisiana for another week. They could have just moved it to where the garbage truck had access. When I went out to talk to them they were less than cordial.

After reading the reviews I worired I'd have an issue getting my mailbox fixed that was damaged while they were clear cutting lines. I emailed their site email and within hours they were back at my home trying to find out which box it was. I wasn't home and emailed them later that evening and they returned to fix it yet again. They made sure it was fixed and probably made it better than it was. If you ever worked in the tree business its some hard work , did it for years for residential. The guys cleaned the road where they were working and resolved my issue with no problem here in Vidor. Thanks for the quick response guys and stay safe.

Horrible company. They have had a team setup in my driveway in Kosse TX now for over 1 hour pretending to do work meanwhile they all have been hanging out in the truck. They think they found a cute little hideout yet my camera is watching their every move. I cant wait to post the videos on social media .

I am writing to formally escalate a serious issue involving a BDG Trees crew operating as a subcontractor for Entergy on my property in Kosse, Texas.

Yes, there is a utility pole and electrical line that crosses my land, and tree trimming related to that line was already performed on a prior visit. That work was completed. There is no active or visible utility work occurring today.

Despite this, a BDG Trees truck has now been parked in my private driveway and on my lawn for over two hours, with cones placed to create the appearance of work. During this time, the crew has been sitting in the truck and not performing any utility-related activity. One individual has also been walking around my property without permission.

This is not acceptable use of utility access rights.

    To be clear:

Utility easement access does not grant permission to occupy my driveway or lawn for non-work purposes

It does not authorize extended loitering, resting, or staging unrelated to active work

It does not allow workers to walk my property without notice or explanation

No one informed me why they returned, what work (if any) was scheduled, or why my driveway was being used as a staging or resting area. Attempts at communication have been ineffective, and I have received no clear explanation for their presence.

This situation has made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable on my own property. I am actively recording the activity via exterior security cameras, and I am documenting the timeline in full.

I want to be very clear:
My property is not a break area, hideout, or staging location simply because it is quiet or secluded. Utility access exists solely for necessary, active work—and only to the extent required.

I am escalating this matter and expect:

Immediate clarification of why this crew is on my property today

Confirmation of whether their presence is authorized by Entergy

Assurance that subcontractors will not misuse utility access on my land again

Immediate removal of the crew if no legitimate work is being performed

If this behavior continues or is repeated, I will escalate further to Entergy corporate leadership, regulatory authorities, and local law enforcement as appropriate.

This email serves as formal notice and documentation of the incident.

    I expect a prompt response.

This company is AWFUL! They blocked my driveway 3 separate times while working, I’m assuming they were hired by Entergy to trim the limbs around the power lines. I check my ring camera, and they are in the middle of my yard as well as blocking my driveway again. I get home, they are still in the yard and I cannot pull into my driveway. They told me to backup and wait on the road, because they were not finished. I told them I will not, I would like to park in my driveway & would prefer them not to be in the middle of my yard. They ended up moving, but came right back to the yard. They probably weren’t done because they had been sitting on the ground for an hour, after they had left and come back.

Update: they did come back the next day to remove the tree debris from my yard. I will say though, the drove their big trucks and equipment through my yard leave tire tracks. I understand but still an inconvenience. Thank you for coming back around to clean up!

I've tried calling several times but I can't hear the options for extensions to dial to speak with someone. I wish I had been able to speak with someone to clarify some of these questions but this was my only option. A job is currently being done in my neighborhood, trees are being cut back around the power lines. Super grateful the job is being done, however, some trees were cut back in my yard and the debris was just left there. There are huge branches just sitting in my yard. I'd like to know if they will be coming back by to clean up after themselves or am I supposed to take care of the branches left by this company? They are still working in the area so I'm trying to be patient but I'm not happy that this mess has been left. I hope that they come back by to finish the job. It's very unprofessional to leave messes like this. I didn't ask for my trees to be trimmed, again I'm grateful that they did, but I shouldn't have to finish the job. I am more then happy to change this review when I see change or if someone could reach out to me with answers. Thank you.

They have non-English speaking workers driving CDL trucks, that is illegal! Everyone please report them to the DOT! Report them DOT#2558815! They mulched my fence, when I complained that they destroyed 80 feet of fence they called to meet then no showed. Then the next week they came and damaged the big beautiful tree in my driveway in retaliation for complaining. EVERYONE CALL ENTERGY AND TELL THEM TO FIRE BDG TREES! They even left a tree laying on the line which is a severe deadly accident waiting to happen! Also 5 years ago they ran over my gate with the giant tree trimmer buggy and tried to claim "It wuz like dis already" Then they physically threatened and tried to intimidate me!
