TLDR: Don't use this company if you need a reliable service, or if you need something to be cleaned in time for something, as the company may leave you high and dry.

Bought a deep cleaning service through a Groupon. Representative got in touch right away, which is good, and an appt was confirmed over email for the same week. I made arrangements to be at the home when it was to be cleaned. The day of the appt, I got an email from the company that the cleaner was not going to make it, and the owner unilaterally told Groupon to refund the voucher. I requested that the appointment just be rescheduled (not sure why the company didn't reach out to the customer first to see if that was doable), but have not heard back since.

Update after Business replied: Reading the reasons the business decided to never show up, i.e., "Company policy", I have updated my review to 1 star as no company policy was ever mentioned as the reason for cancellation, but cleaner availability, as seen in the attached screenshot. The email was sent by the "Founder and President" of the company, so clearly, one would assume that she would know her own policies and the reason why she canceled the appointment.

Clearly, this owner is now changing the story for her convenience and optics - a red flag for anyone looking to use this company, as who knows what else it will try to get out of or somehow make the customer's issue, when it is the business'.

Completely disappointed with my cleaning. I was so happy to see a discount on groupon but I still paid for a 3 hour service and she only did my kitchen and bathrooms…. I even precleaned the rooms so she could have an easier time getting things done. No dishes in the sink, most things cleared off the counters, and nothing super unecessary on the counter in the bathrooms, and only a fruit bowl on or kitchen table… one bathroom being very small… no vacuuming and it doesn’t look like she even mopped the bathrooms… ultimately had to go back in the kitchen and bathroom to finish those. On top of being close to an hour late, she didn’t even massage me until past the time she was supposed to arrive, and took a phone call while working. Not one of these things would’ve made me write a poor review but all of them together is a bit too much… I needed a company for like four more services in the next two months and I’m so disappointed I have to keep looking when everyone I interacted with was so nice.

We booked Orange and Clove at the last minute to clean our home to prepare it for my wife coming home from the hospital. They were on time, stayed late, and our house hadn't been so clean since we moved in. I recommend them without any hesitation.

I am not sure how this site is getting 5 star reviews. I got fooled by it. I saw them on Groupon and reached out to them, was offered the same price as Groupon if I can work directly. Later, I scheduled for a 3 hour deep clean. However, I would say it is not a deep clean, it is just regular clean at slow speed. I showed places that needs cleaning, but she wanted to take care of 'all surfaces' aka easy cleaning and never came back to the areas I really wanted cleaning. It was pricey at $148.23 for that. Krystalyn, said I can't use credit card or she wants to charge taxes and fees. I could have gone Groupon route only. She was also like it was 20 mins extra and I am not charging for it. No, I do not want to recommend to anyone. I am 3 stars for communication only as others on Groupon never responded or had bookings already.

I had a great experience with this cleaning service provider today. There was great communication from the owner. They were timely and efficient and did a great job cleaning my home. Very affordable prices for reoccurring cleanings as well. I would highly recommend for your residential cleaning needs.

I found Orange and Clove through Groupon as I needed a last minute cleaning. Krystalyn was able to squeeze me in to a time that worked for me. She was on time and obliged my requests to focus on certain areas with my 3 hour time frame. She completed those areas and even had time for more! My place was sparkling by the time she left. She had all her own supplies that worked well with my surfaces. I would definitely use Orange and Clove again as their pricing is reasonable and they provide friendly, efficient service!

Orange and Clove is undoubtedly one of the best cleaning businesses in the Greater Houston area. I called O&C for some much needed tidying and organization, and was able to schedule an appointment within the week. I love their use of online/automated updates – after booking, I was provided with a link-based account to keep track of my appointment, without needing to create a username or password.

Krystalyn is highly professional while also being very personable. She made sure we established mutual clarity on the service I was booking and what it entailed, as well as the house areas that I had in mind. While working, Krystal briefly checked in with me so that I could review the progress, which helped with getting acquainted with where items had been reorganized. She also has an eye for interior design and home improvement, and she provided some useful tips for a few outstanding areas that I'd pointed out. This was also the quietest cleaning job I've ever had!

All in all, I'm pleased with the outcome and would absolutely recommend Orange and Clove to anyone in need of regular or deep cleaning.
